Can't receive mail from icloud

I've literally tried everything. both on my iCloud account on my chrome browser AND in my Apple Mail, it just suddenly stopped sending my mail yesterday morning and hasn't since. Online it returns an error message after trying to receive mail 2-3 minutes. I really need my mail. Thanks for the help.

Yes, it's a massive problem here too. This has been going on for 2 days at least. Today I have only received one of the four emails that were sent to me. Yesterday I received only half of them. My Google email account is fine but that doesn't really help me as loads of my friends and clients use the iCloud account. Why isn't Apple explaining why this is - there are lots of complaints on the web about this.

We are setting up our OCS 10g mail server, and are having trouble setting up our policies.
-unsure how to allow mail to come in from outside domains
-are able to send mail to outside domains if that one is set. is there a way to allow to send to any outside domain without having to set every single one?

Can't receive mails on iCloud

I woke up, everything on my Macbook, iPad and iPhone was alright, but in 30 minutes all contacts and emails from my iCloud account @me.com disappeared.
From my mail address was sent some "call for help” mail signed by my name from Ukraine and asking for money.
I contacted Apple support here in Czech Republic and we manage to somehow get the contacts back to my iCloud from backup of my iPhone and restore mail that I can see all emails till today’s 10AM
But I can't receive any mails since then and I know lots of people wrote me some.
So, that's my issue and I really need some help :-)

I have a new problem
I can't receive external email. The receive connector that i have is the following:
Default Frontend NAME.NL
TlS, Basic verification, Basic after TLS, Intergrated, Exchange verification. groups: Exchange-server,
exchange-user and anon
This should be enough to receive external mail right? If I test it with gmail or hotmail I get the message: Mail delayed

Sadly no.
I still don receive any mail from certain domains. And gmail still has a +/- 24 hour delay. We now didn't receive some important mail for 1 and a half week. Any more idea's. I'm totally out of ideas

I can't receive mail from my verizon/yahoo account on my imac running snow leopard. I checked all settings with verizon but still have the problem

My mail application on my imac will not download mail from my verizon/yahoo account. I contacted verizon and confirmed my settings to be correct. I don't get any error messages, I can send mail but I can't retrieve it from V/Y. Connection doctor shows all connections with a green light.

Mail/Preferences/Accounts
Incoming Mail Server: imap.verzon.net
Outgoing Mail Server(SMTP): smtp.verizon.net:your email [email protected]
If that does not work, call Verizon for instructions.

Same error message... I can send to every mail server around the world except for gmail I get the following error:

The error means the network is unreachable. We need more information to analyze the reason.
Please use nslookup command line tool to check if DNS MX record of gmail is correct.
Please use telnet command line tool to check if you get same error.
Please check if your server ip address is in blacklist by the link:

Microsoft outlook stopped to receive mail from icloud

It happened today. Wrong name or password, or due to security reasons.
Outlook from 2011 Offfice, system 10.7.2
This happened on iMac and Air, so, the problem is not in the outlook preferences.
In the Apple Mail, iPhone everything is working properly... Need help...

No. Only one POP3 account can be added at a time.
You could forward your second POP3 account to the 1st one that MobileMe picks up, if your email provider allows forwarding (most do).

How do I set up Mail 3.6 to receive mail from icloud?

The mail account set-up program will not accept the imap.mail.me.com input, instead reverts to the pop address mail.mac.com.

Can't receive email from Mail 3.4 and I can't get rid of a draft email

OK, two problems here...
1 The most frustrating is that I can't receive mail from Mail 3.4. I can send and my wife's email account is working fine. I've got a green light from the "Mail Connection Doctor" and I haven't changed any settings that I know of. I've been accessing my mail thru me.com now, it's working OK but not like "Mail".

2 I have this piece of email that I sent...the guy received it...and it keeps showing up in my "Drafts" mailbox. I delete it, then it comes back, sometimes multiple copies! I've been getting an error message....

"Mail has undone actions on some messages so that you can redo the actions while online. Mail has saved other messages in mailbox “On My Mac” in “On My Mac” so that you can complete the actions while online.

Now my airport connection has been on and off with this machine (my old powerbook has been rock solid on the same network) so the "timed out" portion is probably true...but why can't I just get ride of this email message?

I think I've got it fixed....I "reset" my mail program, I deleted my mailbox then re-created it and I'm all set for now.

Friend can't receive email from me

I recently moved my mail from Outlook on my PC to Entourage on my Mac. One of my friends can now receive mail from me but when he tries to send mail to either of my email accounts they are bounced back to him. As far as I know, everyone else has been able to send mail to me since the change. Would appreciate any advice.

Usually there is an error message included with a bounced back message from an incoming mail server indicating why the message was rejected such as recipient has exceeded server storage space, etc.
Ask your friend what the error message included with the bounced back message indicates.
Are your accounts POP type accounts?
If so, what is your setting for removing messages form the server when downloaded by Entourage?

Unless you tell us what you have tried that didn't work, we have no way of knowing.
Open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to ICloud then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to sync your Mail view Wi-Fi.
