My iPhone 4 isn't showing me messages that have photos attached. Does anyone know what the problem and solution might be?

Have plenty of space available but I can no longer receive photos while texting. I am able to send photos to any phone. I deleted many photos from pic gallery but photos still will not come to my text message board. Is there something I may have to do in order to receive photos again. Also MMS is supported on a carrier by carrier basis. While mostly every carrier does support ths feature make sure that your carrier allows this functionality.

Just upgraded to Snow leopard; can't receive photo attach's in email

We just upgraded to snow leopard and now can't receive photos in email attachments. All that pops up is a bunch of alpha-numeric characters in some emails and the little blue boxes with the inserted question marks in others. Also seem to note that replies are not denoted or marked/flagged as they were in the previous version, though this is not as big a deal as the said replies seem to make it to their intended destination. Mail version is 4.5 (1084). Please advise

I said that I emailed a pic from the imac (which is where I'm having the problems... snow leopard?) to my ipad and no problem, the pic shows up fine; but if I then forward that email BACK to the imac, then no-go... no pic just the following, and I'm shortening it for simplicity's sake:

If you scroll up and don't see that button, then there are no more messages to see.

Can I receive photos via a text msg on a Treo 755p?

I am a Verizon (formerly Alltel) customer with a Treo 755p. Can anyone tell me if I can receive photos via a text msg and if so, what do I need to do to view the photos?

You cannot receive media content from SMS but you can from MMS/picturemail. This requires a different plan from SMS so please contact your carrier to see if you have this plan.

Thank you for posting the issue here and providing more information. I did some research on the carrier and this is what I found about sending a receiving messages.
Please call your service provider to find out if there are any limitations on attachment sized for your phone plan.
I tried looking up to verify how to manually set up email for the email app for your phone, but was not sure what model you had: please check here for troubleshooting info [http://www.vodafone.com.au/help/devices/ota-settings] if the email is already set up, please ignore.

If this continues after any optimizing changes the service provider recommends:

*What is the size of the attachment when this happens?

*what kind of email account does this happen with, and is it consistent for other emails as well? If so it may be the apn settings.
If you are unable to access the images from the account with Vodafone, it may be the following bugs that is affecting this.

Iphone 4s-when wifi is off and I am away from my home connection can I receive and send texts and text messages? I want to keep my wifi off to limit data (email etc) to when I want to check it. Cellular is roaming"voice only" it says.Can I get texts?

When my wifi is off and I'm away from my home connection - it shows wifi off (unless I turn it on to check my email etc.) - and in the settings cellular it shows "voice only". Will I be able to receive and send texts in those settings? Or check voicemail. I had wanted to keep my email from coming in all the time and only want to check it periodically - so I turn ON my wifi when I want to check my email. But when my wifi was off away from home- I hadn't seemed to be getting my texts. So- do I need to keep wifi roaming connected when away from home to receive and send my texts in real time. (which is what I want) or am I still able to send and receive texts with my wifi off when I'm away from home. (When I'm home I am connected to my home data plan automatically through wifi and I get texts when I'm home - but I'm thinking I'm not getting texts in real time - is it because my wifi is off when I'm away from home? My cellular shows voice only when my wifi is off away from home. Am I doing it right to receive and send texts away from home? Or do I need to open up the wifi in order to receive and send text messages. I know that I would need to turn on wifi roaming - which will use data - for email checking or sending - as well as to use browsing apps and now I'm guessing to receive voice messages I may have missed? In order to send and receive SMS or MMS messages, you will need to have an active cellular data or Wi-Fi connection.
You will need these to send and receive iMessages:
An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
iOS 5.0 or later
A cellular data connection or a Wi-Fi connection
A phone number or Apple ID registered with iMessage in Settings > Messages

and shutter image won't open so I can take a photo ?
Also can't send out a regular text message?
I have iPhone 3g, could the upgrade have caused this to malfuntion?

Problems with the camera could be related to the software, so the troubleshooting steps are to power the unit off/on. If that does not correct it, then you need to reset. That is accomplished by holding the power off/on button, and the home button until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the red slide. If that doesn't work, then a restore is in order through iTunes. Since you don't have a data package, it would make me believe you are not in US on AT&T. Also, texting is a cell provider issue, not something done over wireless, so if the steps to troubleshoot the phone don't correct things, then you would have to contact your provider about texting issues.

When you press and hold on the picture...it does not give you an option to save the image? Also for the keyboard issue...go into settings/application manager(it may also say apps/manage apps). At the top scroll over and select all. Scroll down and find messaging and tap on it. If you have an option to clear data and force stop then select them(it wont delete anything). Once done go back in the list and see if you also have anything that says keyboard or android keyboard and do the clear data/force stop on that also.
