Can't recieve group texts/My Verizon Server issue

Purchased the Droid 4 last week and have been sent two separate group texts and can't recover what it sent to me. I get the option to download it in the text box but when I hit it, nothing happens. 1 on 1 texts are fine and work like charm but when someone else has texted me and other people in a single text I can see what is said/sent. Can someone please help because it is driving me nuts.
Also when I try to log into "My Verizon" on the phone so I can track my data usage it gives me an error message once I sent my username and password telling me it can't connect to the server. Anyone know how to solve this issue?

deref, Group messaging is a great way to keep everyone in touch. I use them quite frequently. When you send a group message the replies will be sent to everyone. You can send them individually so people cannot see the replies. Cannot send or receive email using Thunderbird, but can get it just fine on Verizon server.

Every time Mozilla/Thunderbird does a major upgrade I have a problem with sending and receiving my email. When trying to send an email, I get the message:
"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: 5.7.1 Missing or literal domains not allowed. Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again."
Using my regular email password, I am able to get my email from the Verizon server just fine. It simply will not work with Thunderbird. Every time there is a major upgrade I spend hours and hours with Verizon techs with them trying to figure out what is wrong. Yesterday was one such day and we looked at EVERYTHING and no reason could be found for the problem. The tech concluded that the problem had to be with Thunderbird and that I should re-enstall it!!!! I don't have time to reinstall it! Somehow it has been fixed before but we don't even know how.

Droid Razr M can't receive group text in one thread since 4.4.2 update

I just updated my phone with the 4.4.2 version. I am able to send group messages out still. However, when the group replies back it all comes in as individual text messages. This is very inconvenient. I looked in my settings both for messages and the regular settings, but the only settings I could find for group messages was to see if I wanted to send out a single message to the group or individual messages to the group. Can someone let me know how to fix this or do I have to wait for the next update to fix this?

I fixed it! By myself! Me! Single-handedly! OK, I fixed it by accident after trying every thing that I saw mentioned on these forums regarding the update problems. What worked? No clue. I did: 3 soft resets; 3 switching on and off wireless; 5 forgetting and re-discovering my router and re-entering all the password key info; turned it off and left it off for 2 hours; changed/toggled every state of every wireless and data connection switch 5 times.
I'm not sure which of these worked. After turning it off and turning it back on after all the above attempts, I had signals. Wireless and 4G. Who knows why. So, dear Verizon, I take back the mean things I said. I'm sure you were trying as hard as you could in a stressful situation. Neither of us was at our best. Let's just agree to let it go and move on. OK? OK?

I am not able to text one specific person.. seems i can sporadically recieve their text but they are not recieving mine. I have looked at several forms and tried several things.. some forms suggesting a problem with the carrier. Has anyone on Koodoo ?

I am not able to text one specific person on my iphone 4. They an sporadically send but she is not recieving my message. I have read several forums and tried several things.. resetting etc... to no avail.. someone mentioned this may be the network. can anyone help? the phone also say it is ready to install update to ios 7.0.6 which provides a fix for ssl connection verification. then it indicates cannot be installd bcause it requires at least 3.7 GB of storage. So i have deleted some things and pretty sure I have enough GB but still reading the same message. OMGosh .. so frustrated.. especially wtih the texting.

Renamed Domain - Clients Still "joined" to old domain, can't open Group Policy Management on Server

Performed a Domain Rename as per the following instructions:

and then after these issues I have gone through the related technet articles starting here:

specifically the Fix Group Policy Objects and Links.
But still I have the following issues:
At least for group policy clients believe they are on the old domain - despite even having renamed the computers with the new domain name.
When I perform a gpresult the output file shows as being connected to the old Domain - despite manually going into computer properties and renaming the computer with the new domain name...

On the server I cannot open Group Policy Management on the single Domain Controller as it is looking for a DC on the old Domain:
Even though it has listed the new domain in the root of the management console when I attempt to expand it out I am prompted:
"The specified domain controller could not be contacted. This affects the following domain in the console.

The error was:
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted."
I can select to remove the domain from the console but this does nothing - as said it already shows the new domain in the console.
Far as I am aware the clients should not even of needing renaming or changing the domain, but were having authentication issues before I did this. Not sure what I have done wrong here..?

Can't Create Group Wiki On ML Server

Have a Mac Mini Server (late 2012) running OS X 10.8.3 and Server.app. Have some groups and users sprinkled among them.
Would like to create group wiki, but when I push that button a web page opens with the error message:
"The requested URL /wiki/projects was not found on this server."
What is going on here? How can I create a group wiki?

What if you can't do a clean installation?! How would I be able to make it work anyway?!

Can't receive picture texts from Verizon customers??

My sister, mother in law and a bunch of friends have Verizon. Whenever they send me picture texts I never receive the pictures. My husband also has the same iPhone and he doesn't receive them either. We have no problem getting pics from other AT&T users, Sprint, etc.
Does anyone know anything about this? I said it had something to do with the stupid 3G feud between AT&T and Verizon, but my husband said that was dumb. It's really annoying though! Thanks for any info.

Its not a feud - Verizon use CDMA and most of the rest of thr world uses 3G GSM, or in a different terminlogy, one is Betamax and one is VHS. they both work, but not with each other.
At the call level they will interwork but I suspect at the MMS level, they don't but I don't live in a CDMA area so don't suffer from that.

unfortunately the group changes regularly with number changes... It seems like such an easy thing to do?
I have sometimes been inputting them in one by one and I would receive a call and the 150 odd names I had just inputed would be cleared, very frustrating...

Why Can't I Send Text Messages in Group Conversati...

I recently installed Skype 6 on my Mac OSX 10.9.2 but when I go to Skype and look at my group conversations in my history and click on it, it does not show any of the messages that other people have sent (only the times when people have called). It will not let me click call or the plus button because they are faded. It also wont let me click the textbox to type because it says: This is a legacy conversation from an old Skype client. Sending messages is not supported.
Can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem?

Suddenly my iphone doesnt receive group replies from a group I have been using for a long time. I can initiate the group text and they receive it, but I dont get the replies everyone else gets. Please help!

Can't compose plain text messages in Mail 7

For some reason, I cannot seem to compose messages in plain text in Mail 7. I have the compose preference set for Plain Text, but it still typesets it in Rich Text. Any ideas?
