Can't record audio with G580 please help!
I am trying to record audio for a video and using a Lenovo G580 laptop with a Logitech headset. There is a red and a green cord but only one slot. Do I need an audio splitter or jack? I am just trying to record with the red one I don't need the green though.

What do you mean, "is it unlocked"? If your iPod has a screen lock set, it will be obvious from the iPod's screen. For issues with the iPod not appearing in iTunes, start which these troubleshooting steps:

Recording issues with sound PLEASE HELP
Hi I am currently trying to record a home movie from VHS to DVD.
Playing the tape via the InterVideo MSIPVS program I have excellent video and sound. now here is where my problem lies.
When select to record from the program it records the video perfectly but not the audio. I am just curious as to what the problem maybe. I looked in the record tab on the setup menu and it gives me the option to select the video input source but not the audio input source. I have the audio input selected in the device tab and this allows me to hear the tape that is being played on my computer.
I have read a few of the forum posts and none really seem to cover this problem. I am just curious if there is something I may have missed or done wrong on install that may have caused this.
Currently running :
AMD XP 1600
1gig Ram
TV@anywhere Master
Geforce 5600XT
onboard sound
Win 2k Service pack 4
DirectX 9c
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as I am about to throw this thing in the wood stove and light it.

Record video and on playback only get picture.
Strangley I have noticed that if I pause and dont shut MSIPVS then sound on the recorded file will play. But, if you shut down the programme you dont get sound with the picture. Also if you do this you get a file TShift in the folder where the recorded file is stored. -
Can a 7232 work with 7100 PLEASE HELP!!!
I have been having a ton of problems with my 6416 DVRs, after trips from Tech Support and multiple calls I finally ended up receiving a 7232 to replace 1 of the units. That has helped quite a bit and then the 2nd 6416 continued to lag and pixelize so I finally got Verizon to send me a replacement. The rep on the phone convinced me that getting a multi-room and set top for the house was the "right" option. So a week later I receive the 7216 and 7100.
Come to find out the 7100 has no storage and the 7216 is only 150GB, whereas the 7232 has 320GB.
So my question is....
Can I just keep the 7232 and the 7100 and will it work? I have been trying to get it set up but I can't get the 7100 to function properly and tired of spending HOURS on the phone with Verizon trying to explain this mess.LuAnnF wrote:

The QIP-7232 P2 should have a 500 gig drive, even though it says 32. Now the 7100 should have no issues working with the 7232 in a Multi Room configuration. But remember the 7100 only has pause and continue when viewing from recorded conted that is being played back fron the MRDVR 7232. The 7100 can not pause live content. I would send the 7160 back unless the 7232 is broken. The 7232 is a $40 upgrade if they make you pay for it. -

My mom put my ipod 5th gen in the house somewhere and it was turned off. It is connected to the internet in the house. How do i turn it on with the Findmyiphone or something else? That is so dumb...Apple is the best and most techinological company IN THE WORLD and they don't have the time to invent something like that? HUH? All they are worried about is making the "Worlds best Phone" and they can't take the time out to help their users or anybody that has their products. All they have is "Find mt Iphone" Well they should step up and do something else to help people like me out. Find a way to turn it on and you can find it or find a way to turn it on remotely.

Mine does the same thing occasionally, is your phone jailbroken? Sometimes it will work if you delete the book and reinstall it or put your phone into airplane mode then turn it back off.

If you are the original owner of the phone and know the Apple ID and password that were used to activate it originally, and if you have an existing backup to restore from, you can force it into recovery mode (which will completely erase it) and restore it as explained here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. When you do you will encounter activation lock, and will have to provide the ID and password used to activate it originally in order to activate it again. If you can't, you won't be able to activate and use it.
