Can't register and download Lightroom 5

I have just purchased LIghtroom 5 but can't download it because the "get serial " routine cannot be achieved by trying to visit www.adobe.com/go/getserial because this website does not exist in the required form. How can I proceed, please?

the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1).

I can't find it on this Adobe site. Everthing I search on this site, or get sent to from a google search, sends me to the new CS5.5 or whatever new software. I don't want all that, and too many functions have been discontinued. I just want audio, having used CooEdit Pro and other Audition versions with previous computers. I'm now returning to audio work. It is possible that the app was removed from the App Store. If so you will not be able to get it back, unless you have it downloaded on your computer.
If you had downloaded it before and it is still in the store, you can go to the App Store app on your iPod and go to the Updates tab. Then you tap on "Purchased" and see if it is available to download from your previous purchases.

It sounds like you bought an upgrade from Adobe. How much did you pay? The upgrade is about $80, and the non-upgrade is about $150. If you bought an upgrade version and had no previous version, you would see what you're seeing.
If that is the case and I were you, I'd call Adobe, and arrange for a refund and to order the correct version.

The standalone version and the CC version are both the same exact program, but the licensing is completely different. It will be necessary for you to uninstall the creative cloud trial version and then install the one you purchased from Amazon. After you install, you will be able to open the same catalog and continue from where you were.
