Can't register with CWM on device

Hi,
I've been trying to register my 5800XM (latest firmware) with CWM Australia for days now, but I just can't get it to work. I've tried both the house WLAN (which the phone is correctly set up for - no problems web browsing/VoIP/podcasts/etc) and 3G as the net connection.
I run the "Nokia Musi Store" app on the phone, and  get a browser-like screen where I select my country (Australia). It then does one of two things:
1) most of the time, it does nothing for several seconds and then pops up "Music Store: Unable to perform operation"
2) much less frequently, it instead goes to a screen where I can enter information including the CWM PIN. If I then press "Join", it rejects anything I got wrong (eg. non matching password fields) and I have to do it again. If I didn't get anything wrong, though, it just does nothing for a few seconds (the 'Join' button is inaccessable during this), then the Join button comes back, but absolutely nothing else changes - no error message, no new screen, no UI changes at all in fact - it just looks like I never pressed "Join".
And because of this, I'm not going to be able to register within the 2 month limit (phone was a present, so sat with someone else for a while) despite starting well in time.
This is just not acceptable. And I won't even go into all the other problems I've had with both Nokia device and PC software in the last months. Suffice to say I'm a software developer, and I'd be embarrased if it were me.
Does anyone know a Nokia number in Australia where I can get someone to sort this out?

Still no call back by Wednesday Feb 24th so tried calling them again (1300 366 733 #4 #2).
Got through the menu system, the "we are very busy - consider calling back later" warning, and the lengthy queue wait to a man who was impossible to understand (partly because of the extremely **bleep** call quality).
I explained I called three days ago and hadn't received the promised "24-48hr" follow up call. He asked for the case reference number,  which of course I was neither given nor knew about. No problem, he found it from my return phone number. He went off to check, put me on hold, and I'm cut off. I waited 15 mins for a callback (he knew my number after all) but nothing.
So I called again. After another "we are very busy - consider calling back later" warning, and a lengthy queue wait I got a woman, who was a bit easier to understand. She looked me up from my phone number and found the problem report.
After putting me on hold for a few minutes, she very unsurely informed me that Comes With Music in Australia was "having a system update" and "not working at the moment".
I didn't believe that. I'd been having the same problems with the same behaviour, whether trying to register on the device or PC, for several weeks. Nothing ever seemed any different. I had once got a message about CWM/Ovi Music not being online when running Ovi Player, but not recently.
Furthermore I had, at one point last Sunday, tried another "clean" PC and phone just to see what happened. That is, I installed Ovi Music, connected up another 5800XM (a UK one, that time) and tried to register. That time it did actually do something, for once, returning with an error message that the connected phone wasn't a CWM device (true). But as soon as I went back to my own PC/phone, it behaved exactly the same again. Even after a complete reinstall.
So I asked how long it had been offline for, but she "didn't have access to that information". I asked how long it was going to be offline for, she ddidn't have access to that information either. I asked if she could confirm it had been offline since the previous Sunday, same answer.
I gave my reasons why it didn't seem a likely explaination to me, but was told she couldn't help and I should continue to wait for the "12 to 24 hour" elevated support return call, however long it took. I expressed doubt I'd get one at all, and reiterated my concern about the 2 month CWM registration limit, and got a vague (and hardly confidence inspiring) "oh that'll be alright".
So I will continue to wait. I might do some googling to see if this problem is related to the 40.0.005 firmware version, which both phones were upgraded to as I've found that that creates all sorts of other problems.

    Enterprise Account is for distribution to employees, not via the App Store.

    That does happen.  It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system.  If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

To complete registration will need to have device plugged in and your VZ Access Manager up. If you are using windows there is a "TXT" option to click on to receive temporary password. When you have 10 digit mobile number click on Forgot password on sign in page on www.vzw.com . Next page will ask for 10 digit mobile number, then will request for you to send temporary password.

    I think you are refering to registering media termination points / transcoders on the same router to two different CUCM clusters, correct?
    If yes, we can do it by creating separate sccp ccm groups.
    Example :

    Unfortunately yes, though technology would never move on if it kept to older standards and did not strive to do more.
    The app store always gives you the option to use a previous version of the app IF it is available for your device.
    Sorry but you are stuck without new hardware.

    When i sent him the invitation he said he never got it. I deleted him, added him again and clicked on copy me on the invitation. I then forwarded him the invitation and he has had no luck registering. It is telling him that there is an account already with that email.

    I have also verified that our client is getting the email verification from adobe. However, once it says congratulations, it is saying to login. Once he does that, it says you aren't a registered user.

    Unfortunately, if your country doesn't have it's own store, you are out of luck. Content providers such as record companies require a CC with a billing address from the country that you use. The content providers require this rule as they do not care for cross-border sales, so it really is not Apple's fault.

    To troubleshoot this issue where your iPhone gives you the message "No SIM Card installed" please follow the steps below.
    Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
    Turn airplane mode on and then off again.
    Restart your iPhone.
    Check for a carrier settings update. Go to Settings > General > About. Install any available update.
    Remove the SIM card and make sure that it's a valid SIM that your carrier provided. Also make sure that it's not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
    A SIM tray that comes with one iPhone model won't necessarily work with a different iPhone model. When you insert the correct SIM tray, the SIM tray should be flush with the device.
    If you have another SIM card, insert it. You can use a SIM card from any phone with the same format as your iPhone SIM card. If your iPhone works with that SIM card, contact the carrier that issued your original SIM card.
    Restore the iPhone.
    If you still see the issue, contact Apple support.

  • How to use PCI-CAN LS (low speed can bus card) with hi speed devices

    I'm having problems connecting the low speed card to the hi speed devices: I've setup the bus with 120 ohms resistors terminating it. The devices seem to be working fine but the can card doesn´t seem to receive or send anything. It has rth and rtl of 510ohms. The card and devices are at 125kbps. I ran the card diagnostics and it passed them. Is it really possible to use this low speed card with a hi speed bus? Don't I have to do something special for it to work on hi speed bus? Any sugestion is highly appreciated! thank you

    I was able to set up a Low Speed CAN card to talk to a High speed port on another computer( simulating a high speed device). I did not have any termination resistors on the cable. Initially, I saw the same Comm errors you mentioned and this was because the cable I was using was internally terminated. So please check that the cables are not terminated. Also , verify that the high speed device itself is not terminated ( measure the resistance between CAN_H and CAN_L, with the cable connected and without the cable).
    Let me know if you were able to get the system up and running. Also do you have any low speed devices that can be used to test teh CAN card with?

    Follow the part that mentions setting the SID0 & SID1 to "." no quotes.  I did this and my ATA registered to CM.  Screen caps attached.
    I have a Cisco ATA 186 running on 10.5.1 and it shows to be registered.  I can make calls on it.  Not sure how it will do for faxes.  HTH Please rate.
