Can't reinstall media encoder CC (Windows)

I deleted media encoder cause it was working incorrectly, now it no longer is there.
Reinstalling Premiere pro CC dose not reinstall media encoder.
Really? Why no seprate download.
Any way to reinstall it?

Yes, I wouldn't recommend deleting that folder. You should restore it from Recycle bin if it's still there.
Here is how you can get AME back on your system if AME folder is no longer in recycle bin:
- Copy and paste the AME folder from another computer that has AME (you can install the trial)
------------- or --------------------------------------
-   Deactivate PPro and other apps through Help -> Sign out (this way you don't lose your license)
-   Uninstall PPro, AE, InDesign, and Flash Pro
-   Run the CC Cleaner Tool (find it here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html)
-   Install PPro again.

Can't access Media Encoder CC

I have been asking this question on these forums for about 2 moinths now, with no answer.
I know this is a community forum, but it is the only way I can access any support from Adobe.
I am in Australia. i am not willing to use the 800 number, and the 'chat' is not available to me.
When Adobe released the Cloud with much higher pricing in Australia they said it was because of the increased cost of support in this country. I am yet to find any support at all for my $50 per month.
So once again - here is my problem; </end rant>
I have Premiere CC and AE CC loaded via my CC subscription.
I can not access Media Encoder through either of these programs on my desktop, or as a stand alone app. I have fully removed and re-downloaded the apps a couple of times with the same result - ME does not install.
Can you give me a location where I can download ME so I can install it on my machine.

thanks for that.
The problem on accessing the support was that i am in Australia and do not want to conatct an 800 number form here. No local number was available for me. The 'chat' function was also not available for me at any time, so i only had this forum as a point of communication. I am ceratinly aware that this is a user to user forum.
As a result of this matter I have seen the need for better support facilities to be available, so I determined to be a more active member of these forums, to help in some way. I don't want to just complain and not do something about it myself.
I do stand by my view though that a better method of direct support from Adobe is necessary. One of the reasons Adobe gave for the higher price of software in Australia prior to the Australian Senate Enquiry was the higher cost of support in Australia. While the cost did come down since then, I can find no form of support available to me unfortunately.

Yes. All versions of PSE except versions 1, 3, 5 & 6 will work with Windows 8. The best option is a new computer with W8 and then do a clean install of Elements. Some difficulties may arise if upgrading the operating system on top of existing software. In those circumstances make sure you have your original disks or your download package, in case a re-install is necessary.

Same problem here, I just installed Win 7 64bit a few days ago, and a fresh install of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium to default location and has all its updates.

Can't run (Media Encoder or Encore) and Premiere Pro

I finished a sequence, started up Media Encoder, then began editing a new sequence with Premierer.
The result was that after a while, Media Encoder "Not Responding".
I started Media Encoder again and this time I left the room to watch TV.
Media Encoder built the AVI file correctly.
Also Encore died when I tried to use Premiere at the same time.
Is that the rule with CS4 applications?

In EN once I click on the Build button to begin building a DVD it will take more than 30 minutes before the DVD comes out.
In the mean time I would like to fire up PR to start editing some other project.
If that is not something I can do then I can use my KVM switch to go to my old PC and produce artwork for the DVD case.
On another topic, I am in the process of making a BluRay DVD with Encore and when I clicked on the Preview button, instead of getting the neat little window that allows me to run a simulation of the DVD menu, I got a huge version of that menu that I could not manuver to get to the controller buttons.

Media Encoder in Windows unable to create output file

I'm trying to create an Avid DNxHD Quicktime file so that I can load in my older Mac Pro and make ProRes files for delivery. When I add the file to the rendering queue it fails every time. Tried several DNX settings, 8 bit, 10 bit but no difference. However when I click Export rather than Queue it works. But that prevents me from using Premiere until the encode is done.
Am using Windows 7 Pro, CC 2014 with latest updates. Having same problem no matter which hard drive I use.

i once had reverse problem, where Export crashed but Queue to Media Encoder worked. Turned out Premiere settings and Media Encoder settings were different. My preferences in Premiere were Audio Hardware with Adobe Desktop Audio with me selecting my ASIO soundcard. Thats what crashed Export. I fixed it with selecting Premiere Pro WDM Sound.
Not saying you have similar, but do your preferences match with the two?

From CS4 Premiere, can't access Media Encoder

Yes I've un-installed Premiere and then re-installed. However I can not get past a message "Adobe Media Encoder CS4 has stoppe working." Not good. I have accessed Encoder via the "programs" file to see what would occure, same results. Of all things, I have a video that has to be completed by tommorrow afternoon. Any advise? The people who sold me the system are no help.

? I don't know what else to say.? The system was working fine until I downloaded the recent Premiere update.? That was too soon for the Matrox capture card, thus I had to go back to 4.0 and await Matrox's release of the new drivers.? Now, I can't get Encoder to function.? I just get the "stopped worked" message regardless of what file I'm trying to encode.? I have reloaded premiere from my CS4 disc which reloads, it appears, Media Encoder with it.? I dont' know what else to include here.

Are you talking about Adobe media Live encoder and "Adobe media Server"...Just can publish from "Adobe media Live encoder" and publish to "Adobe media server"..
This is a adobe media server forum...and your question it seems lies in the domain of encoders.

Can I install Media Encoder Alone on a third Computer

My situation: I have 1 licence of Adobe Production premium CS4
What I need/want: I want to install the Media Encoder on another computer (to render on another computer (like a render farm) and save CPU process in my personal computer)

Nope, you can't. Especially everything that is tied to handling MPEG CoDecs and derivatives requires activation since it involves third-party licensing.

Some client of mine still needs to get flv videos for his website, and i've seen that Media Encoder CC 2014 doesn't have this option anymore.
Unfortunately i already uninstalled the previous version, any way to get it back ?

ame is downloaded and installed with flash, after effects and premiere pro. install one of those cc versions and see if ame cc is also installed.

Can not reinstall Java 7 on Windows 8 x64

Hi,
Restinstalling Java 7 opens a dialog box saying that Java is already installed and should be uninstalled first. When I click on Yes to go on with unstalling, I get a second msg box saying that this action is only valid on installed products.
I tried everything: running Cleansweep to clean the registry, running CCleaner for the same purpose. Using Cleansweep to delete manually the reg entries with name of value containing "java\", deleting any "java" directory on disk (in c:\program files, c:\program files (x86), c:\commonFiles, <user>\appData\localLow and I may forget deleted locations ... Finally rerun Cleansweep ...
The problem still remains and, unless I can solve it, I will have to do a clean install of the OS (will be Windows 7 since Windows 8 drives me mad, sorry).
Though, doing a clean install will cost me money, and 1 week of time !
Will some nice person save me from this huge work ?

It is odd that you are seeing a dialog saying it needs to be removed. Can you post a screenshot of that?
If a particular update version is already installed, regardless of the build number in the case of EA builds, you will see a message saying that it is already installed, you can then continue or cancel.
Why is it that you were trying to reinstall? As you called out the 64bit OS it may be the case that a 64bit JRE was installed and the JRE is not working in the 32 browser. I mention this as this is a common case. Really only IE has a 64bit browser for Windows, Chrome and Firefox are do not provide production 64bit browsers and thus the 64bit plugin will not run in those browsers. Windows 8 as a bit more of a hurdle as Java must be run on the desktop rather then the start screen and the 32bit browser, as I recall, is the default. Java.com will not provide the 64bit JRE unless a 64bit browser is being used for just this reason. Here are a few links that cover this:

I tried to reinstall Oracle Database 10 XE on windows 7 but while installing, it gives this error message and stops

Sorry I'm giving you a big headache but the 10g XE Universal package can’t be installed on my PC and the reason i think it is because of the Path Environment.
I went to this site and worked step by step to manually uninstall the Oracle XE from my PC but the problem still exists.

First problem: uninstalling through Control Panel, Programs and Features doesn't work. I'm getting the error message "An error occurred while trying to uninstall Spotify. It may have already been uninstalled. Would you like to remove Spotify from the Programs and Features list?" Clicking Yes does not result in the removal of Spotify. Follow-up problem: when reinstalling Spotify the installer mentions it found another installation of Spotify and asks me if I want to replace that one. I click Yes. After a few seconds the installer reports the following Dutch error "Spotify kon niet worden opgestart (Fout code: 17)". Translated it's something like "Spotify could not be started (Error code: 17)". Hi miss_renegade, did you uninstall the normal way (control panel-remove software)? That will not remove all windows registry keys and hidden files stored in you personal profile. I guess a remaining spotify key or dll is probably causing the error 13. You could try using the Revo Uninstaller that really clears all old spotify remains of previous installations. Next choose to download the spotify installation file. Right-click the installer file and set it to run in the compatibility mode.

Can i upgrade media encoder only from cs4 to cs6?

I have a production studio licence.

Why can't i find adobe media encoder in apps in creative cloud

I just purchased the creative cloud suite and I found all the apps I need except for media encoder - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
