Can't relink missing jpegs

I opened my project this morning and see this:
and then this:
After opening the project I see the color bars and double-click one of the missing images in the project window to relink it. After going to the location and see that all of my files are grayed out and unable to be clicked like so:
If I choose to "Enable: All Files" and "Format: Adobe Dynamic Link" the files then become clickable like so:
But after choosing an image I get this message and no relink happens:
What am I doing wrong here?

More info would probably be helpful.
I'm specifically interested in your exact AE version number (Help>About will tell you)
What happens if you reboot your computer, open AE, and try to import a JPEG into a brand new project?

Can't find my jpegs?

I'm trying out a page-flip program that tells me to create the pages as jpegs within a folder named "pages" in the Library. When I try to run it, it tells me it can't find the jpegs. I can get it to work locally by including the full URL (i.e., "\...My Documents\edinnerparties\images\p3-large.jpg), but I know this isn't embedded in the swf file. What am I missing? Thanks.

I don't know the page module your using, but assuredly is not working because you have broken paths, the images were not placed in the proper folder as specified, if it tells you to put images in the folder "pages" then they must be put in that foilder for the page flip to access through an xml or js file normally, so try and copy the file structure exactly as the template into your working folder, then put your images in the folder called "pages", something like pageflip/pages/p3_large.jpg, not the path you show.

How can I get missing contacts, notes, calendar dates and reminders that are just on my old iphone onto the iCloud for transfer to my new iPhone upgrade? Half of my contacts, notes, ect. were on my iCloud so have happily moved to my new iPhone but the rest are completely resistant. For example, on my iCloud I have 14 missing contacts starting with the letter A alone, however they are happily viewable on my old iPhone 4S and won't budge over into the iCloud.
There are also 3 notes missing yet still acessible on my onld iPhone 4S, the list goes on.
Your help would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

I just tried this in Photoshop CS3 myself. When I add a text layer, and choose Save, the Save As dialog box comes up and defaults to PSD as was described. But... that is just the default! Notice when you choose JPEG, the Layers box grays out and the "As A Copy" box grays out and is checked (i.e. you cannot uncheck it). This is good, because your Photoshop file with its editable text layer is preserved, and you get a JPEG copy to put in iPhoto.
The second way is, instead of doing Save or Save As, choose File/Save for Web and Devices. This will also give you a JPEG choice, and also create an exported copy. Because this way makes files for the Web, they will be smaller than JPEGs from Save As because they will lack built-in previews (which you don't really need these days) and other extra metadata that take up space.
Either way you get a JPEG you can toss back into iPhoto.

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from a computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing. If you want to remove them all then normally you could just sync an empty folder (in terms of photos) to the iPad, but as you don't want to sync at the moment you can't do that.
You can reset the iPad back to factory settings and start from scratch with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings

You're post is not very clear. Are you asking if other people have difficulty viewing their iPads in bright sunlight? Yes, everyone does. The type of screen the iPad has doesn't work well in bright sunlight. If you're wearing polarized sunglasses and can't see anything on the screen, try rotating it to landscape.
If you're asking something else, please explain.

Can you relink original music to what was previously copyrighted music.. without losing changes to the audio?

So im working on a project.. The client didnt have the music for the videos yet, so i used "preview" versions momentarily. Now i have the original unwatermarked songs.. I want a quick way to exchange copyrighted songs with watermarked ones. (same songs, just watermarked).. Can i relink them? Or will that erase the work I did mastering the audio (keyframes, changes in audio levels, changed legnth to the song, audio transitions)? Thanks in advance. I have dozens of songs to relink, that would be why i havent tried it to see if it would keep my changes or not.

If you right click the track in the project panel and select 'Replace Footage' then select the correct file that will replace the music but keep any edits (assuming the tracks are identical in length and start time).

How can I embed a JPEG so that Windows users will not have to open it as an attachment? I have a flyer I've converted to a JPEG, and I need to send it out to my contacts. Problem is, a lot of people are too lazy to open attachments in outlook.
How can I make it so even (ugh) Window's users will just open the email and see the flyer?

You can do just about anything with a JPEG image that you can with a raw image. The advantage of working with raw is that it is possible to work with more extremes in exposure. More highlights and shadows can be recovered in a raw image, but there is a lot that can be done with JPEG images as well. All of the library functions and keywording and all the other features of Lightroom can be used on JPEG images just as easily as they can be used on raw images.
Having said all that, you might be more comfortable using Photoshop Elements. Both programs have trial versions that you can use for 30 days to decide which one or whether both will work for you. It would probably be to your advantage to try them out and decide for yourself.

You can re-save the jpeg as EPS from Photoshop,
but if you need a vector eps, you will need Illustrator or an equivalent program to do it. Also, depending upon the complexity of your file, it may not be able to be an automatic convertsion.

Do you have Acrobat? If so, you can use the Add Image tool to place your images on the page where you want them to be. Alternatively, you can combine all 3 to a single PDF and then send that PDF to the PDF Printer, selecting the Multiple option to get them to appear on a single page of the new file.

I bought Premiere Elements 7.0 some time ago online via download. And now i found out i am missing content because of following missing files:

# File 3: PRE7_Cont_WWEFGJ.exe - 1.2 MB
# File 4: PRE7_Cont_WWEFGJ.7z “ 2.8 GB
When i bought PRE 7.0 i only got the main file (File 1) without the content!
I opened a case in customer support and the answer was, that the support for PRE 7.0 is no longer available. Can anybody help me to find a place where i can download those missing files?
