my name is James

my internet explorer was corrept
What does that mean?  What are your problem symptoms?
question is how or what do I have to do to reload it.
Unfortunately there is no generalized repair or reinstall for IE.  Depending on the OS and version of IE there are various things you can try to do to modify it.  Otherwise, it is considered a component of the OS and only repaired when the OS is
repaired.
Post more details if you need help.

How can I install internet explorer on my macbook pro? Thanks!

Install Windows 7 into a virtual machine program (IE comes with it), I suggest VirtualBox as it's free and gets updates for near forever. However VMFusion and Parallels has more features but then to drop you if you don't upgrade OS X.
Windows in BootCamp or Virtual Machine?

  • Can I uninstall Internet Explorer completely? I hate it. It clogs up my computer. How can I get rid of it?

Can I uninstall Internet Explorer completely? I have chosen Mozilla Firefox as my internet browser and I like it. Internet Explorer always seems to be doing a lot of stuff behind the scenes and it takes forEVER to do anything. I hate it. I want it gone. Can I do that (and still have my computer function properly)?

It is not recommended to uninstall IE on Windows XP. You can disable IE instead and you won't see the desktop shortcut.

  • Can't open internet explorer

When I updated to Firefox 3.6.3. I can't open Internet Explorer anymore. Clicking on the icon just dies, and going through the Search function also fails. If I do a system restore back to before the update, it will open, but Firefox will NOT.

I cannot print from any web pages with Mozilla as my browser. The printer gives me a blank page. I can print from internet explorer and all other programs. I have a

Try the '''''reset''''' described here: <br />

  • Can I remove internet explorer 8, after installing Foxfire

I just installed Foxfire. I like it very much and want to keep it as my permanate browser. My question is can I remove Internet Explorer 8.
    Thanks

No. I am not sure that IE can be totally removed from Windows XP. As I recall, it is interwoven into the XP operating system. Removing IE8 in ''Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs'' will simply back up to the previous IE version until you end up at IE6 (full of security issues). If that is the case, it is best keep IE8 on your system. If you ever need to do '''''manual updates''''' for Windows, you will need IE to do so.
You can change your default browser to be Firefox:

  • Where can I get the plug in for firefox so I can view like internet explorer...

where can I get the plug in for firefox so I can view like internet explorer...

There are 2 versions of the add-on, [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10909/ IE Tab Plus] and [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/92382/ IE Tab 2]. They both perform the same function of opening Internet Explorer inside a Firefox tab, the main difference between the two is that IE Tab Plus also supports the Adblock Plus add-on being used inside the IE tab and can synchronize cookies.

  • How can I open Internet explorer only pages on a mac? The website that I need to access only permits internet explorer

How can I open Internet explorer 'only' pages on a mac, without creating a drive partition and installing windows separately?
I've tried winbottler, but it doesn't seem to serve my purpose. The web site that I'm trying to access only permits Internet explorer.

Microsoft has not written IE for Mac for years so unless you want to create a parition and install Windows, or user a Windows emulator, you're out of luck for installing IE on a Mac.
The web site that I'm trying to access
There might be a work around for you since it's just the one site.
Go to the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
    Enable the Develop menu.
Now click Develop from the Safari menu bar then click User Agent > IE 9, 8, or 7

You do not need IE to download RealPlayer.

  • Can i access Internet Explorer using firefox?

The website I need to access says it will only accept Internet Explorer. Can I download Internet Explorer from Firefox?

Your best bet is probably to get a copy of the Windows operating system. The other option is a hardware emulator which most non technical users won't choose. A hardware emulator is not guaranteed to work either. If you do a search on Google for Wine HQ you will find Wine one of the most popular hardware emulators.

  • I need Internet Explore for a certain application. Can I download Internet Explorer?

I need Internet Explore for a certain application. Can I download Internet Explorer?

The last Mac version of IE is so old it doesn't display web pages correctly. It also doesn't have ActiveX. If that's why the site requires IE, the old Mac PowerPC version of IE still wouldn't help you.
You could use Boot Camp to install Windows to its own bootable partition. Or, use VM software (Parallels, VMware, VirtualBox), and install Windows in a VM. Then you'd have Windows running inside OS X with access to IE.

  • Why can't I view a preview page of an item I list on ebay in Firefox. I can view in internet explorer

Prior till about 24 hours ago, I was able to preview an item that I listed on ebay without any problems. Now I cannot preview the item in Firefox, but I can preview the item in internet explorer. What might be causing this?
    Thanks,

Are you trying to use the built-in Print Preview in Firefox, or is this a page specially generated by eBay?
Do you get an error message when trying to view the page, or nothing happens when you click the link/button, or ... what exactly happens?
    In case you haven't already...
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    (1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
    (2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
    * right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    * (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the page in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
    * "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    * Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
    Any difference?

  • Where can I find Internet Explorer or Netscape to download for my iMac?

I have a website for some studies that says Internet Explorer or Netscape are the required browsers.
I've tried to open the website using Chrome and Safari but an error message comes up in a big red box.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Internet Explorer is only available for Windows and Netscape was discontinued. There was a Internet Explorer version for Macs, but it was years ago and only for PowerPC-based Macs.
First, you can try enabling the Internet Explorer mode in Safari to see if you can access to the site. To do it, first open Safari, go to Safari menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences > Advanced, and mark "Show Develop menu in menu bar". Then, close Preferences and go to Develop menu (on the menu bar) > User Agent, and choose one of the Internet Explorer options
