Can't Reload (restore) my Q10 with Blackberry Link !!!

Hi
Yesterday, I tried to use the security wipe feature to clean my device but it took too much time and then I pulled out the battery. Then, the device showed a message on the screen to connect it to the Pc.
I used these steps below to reload my device
1.connect my device to the PC
2.run the blackberry link software
3.go to the settings and reload
4.the blackberry link found my Q10 and asked me to restore it to its factory settings
5.a message shows"checking for blackberry device software update.." and the LED on the device turned green
6.last message shows"There are no Blackberry device software update available" with close option only!!
7.when I press on the close it goes back again and show the message which means I need to connect it to the PC
So is that means I can't retort my device if it is up to date !!

Can't "reload" a Z10 with blackberry link

Hello,
I've done this many times but since october I still have the following error.
So I have a Z10 that I need to reload with blackberry link. I need the firmware to be reinstalled and most data wiped out.
I've done this many time on Z10, Q5 or Q10, it wiped the phone and updated it in the same time.
But now I still get that error.
Fist when I use "reload" it ask this.
it's normal
then when I click "get update" I got this
less normal
when I click "install" I get that error.
So now I can't use the "reload" feature and it's not devide dependant.
I tried and 3 different computer and 4 other blackberry.

I finally found a solution : autoloader!
Even if you have to be carefull about the file you launch, it's exactly what I wanted, an update with a wipe.

Can't update/restore my Ipod (with Vista...)

Hey guys, is there anyway I can update or restore my iPod with vista because its not letting me I keep getting "Itunes has detected an Ipod that appears to be corrupted. You may need to restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes." So I click on restore and I get this message...The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1415).
What should I do?

Restoring with Blackberry Link

Help please,
Moved to Blackberry Classic. I have groups setup in my contacts to do group text messages. When I back with Blackberry Link and then restore the Classic from the desktop the groups are removed.
Had a Bold 9900 with Balckberry desktop before and there was no problem with the groups staying in tack on a restore.
What I am I missing?

Blackberry z30 - not showing the mobile when connected with blackberry link

first when i bought the mobile z30 - my mobile was is good conditon ... suddenly today (15-1-2015) i couldnt type in my device password, mobile got struck ,then i connected my mobile with balckberry link and made a reset ... now the mobile is not upto themak....i dont feel it works as before. ...now am connecting it with blackberry link with mobile the link detects my media card in mobile and gets connected with i tbut it doesnt get connected to the mobile device...
please provide me solution.. so that i could get my mobile to old gud condition

Sorry to respond that your post is vague.
Did you do a reset to factory? It takes a day or a few days for a BB10 device to finish sync'ing and indexing and so forth after a wipe or an OS reinstall or upgrade. If performance is subpar, give it another day to see if it improves.
On the last, I may not understand. I believe you are saying you are connecting to the device with Link and the computer mounts the microSD card as a drive but not the device's onboard memory. Do you have mass storage mode enabled? If so, disable mass storage mode and try again.

Can't backup Q10 with BB Link

I have done backups & transfers in the past, and now I can't. My Q10 is telling me it will force me to update to new OS tomorrow, so I really want a full backup first. Device connects, Link acknowledges it as "Connected" but no form of backup works. Full backup just fails. Custom backup says "No data available to backup" when I try to configure it. I tried on THREE different laptops. Two of them (one Win 8.1, one Win7) had BB Link already on them from the past. The other is a new laptop (win 8.1) with Link just installed today. All drivers seem updated. I really need to get this backup done ASAP. I tried reaching BB, but all they say is either come to this forum or contact the carrier. Verizon was less than useless since it's a BB.. Please help, I went back several pages and saw no solutions already posted.

Check whether you are installed the latest version of blackberry link on your system. If not then download from here and proceed for backup.Download link

Q10 task synchronisation with Blackberry Link

I wonder when Blackberry Link will enable such a basic feature like synchronising tasks and memos via USB... Even my five years old Nokia C7 was able to do that, even whireless... Is there anabody from Blackberry here? You even can't get in touch with this company...

Z30 issues with Blackberry Link

I recently upgraded from a Z10 to a Z30.
Issue #1
When I transferred all info from the Z10 to the Z30 using Blackberry Link it changed the name of the new Z30 from the name that it came with to a name of my Z10. Is this normal? Can I change it back to the name it had originally without confusing Blackberry Link? Does it even matter?

When I connected my Z10 to my computer and opened Blackberry Link there was a dropdown menu along the botton of the frame and one of the choices was "back up". Now with the Z30 that dropdown menu menu box is not there but along the left side that says that my Z30 is connected and one of the menu choices is "backup and restore". Is this the same thing?

Help with Blackberry Link

Hello - I just upgraded to the Q10 from the Bold 9000, and I am having problems getting the BlackBerry Link to work properly. I successfully downloaded the application (Version 1.1.1 build 13) to my MacBook, but it does not recognize my Q10 when I use the USB cable to plug into the Mac - the tab for it never appears at the bottom of the screen. It only shows up if I select "Show Disconnected Devices". It advises me to reset the Q10 to the factory settings, but I will lose all of the vacation photos and other data that I have added to the device since I bought it.
So, in a nutshell, I can't back up my data because the BlackBerry Link won't work properly, and if I reset the phone I lose it all. BlackBerry Protect no longer backs up my data for me. I could e-mail all of my photos to myself, but that seems to be a tedious last resort. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue with your device connecting to BlackBerry Link.
Disconnect your device from your Mac and restart your Mac.
On your device, go to Settings>Storage and Access and ensure Access to Storage shows USB Connection as Connect to Mac. Keep scrolling to the bottom and ensure USB Mass Storage is Off.
Launch BlackBerry Link then connect your device. Does it now detect in Link? Does the lightening bolt appear to indicate your device is charging?

Issue in Retrieving and Restoring My Backup from Blackberry Link for Z 30. Require URGENT Assistance. Please suggest.

I have been facig this issue for last few days and it's absolutely insane to retreive my own BB Z30 backup via Blackberry Link. I beleived this is 1 User Interface which connect BB to computer (Win. or Mac or Other devices ) and make your life easy.
This is been a Pain in A** and I have been constantly getting message that:
"Verify that your device is on and connected to Blackberry Link and try Again".
I have done all permutation and combinations but my data is still not retrieved . I am using Windows. Please assist me URGETLY and guide me some steps to correctly retrieve it .

Problem synching Z30 with Blackberry Link

I'm having problems synching my Z30 calendar and contacts with my Blackberry Link. I'm getting the following error message:
"Sync was unsuccessful

Z30 won't link with blackberry link

I have reinstalled blackberry link several time now, each time it will link up the Z30, but a few days later my Z30 will connect to the computor but Blackberry link doesn't connect. This is not the only issue but I can't fix any of the others if Link won't be consistant in hooking up each and every time. any suggestions

Been on the phone with Blackberry 3 times....

it shouldn't be that difficult....

Can't upgrade or clean install new Blackberry Link in Win 8 32 bit system

Hi Helpers,
I cant install the New BB Link version on my system - (the previous version ran perfectly).
Whether I try to update or clean install (old version now uninstalled). I get a pane saying that Microsoft visual C ++ 2008 Sp1 redistributable - W8 needs to be installed first.
The process starts that install - but alwayys fails. After that the BB Link install just closes.
I can't seem to attach any screenshots (be helpful to be able to 'navigate' to them rather than type in a path). But I havepasted below the full txt contained in the 'windows installer' pane that appears when the install fails.
Can anyone suggest any way to correct this problem please? Btw, the new BB Link installs perfectly onto Windows 7.

Z10 Problems with Blackberry Link

Hi,
I have had my Z10 for more than a year now and I've never needed to transfer files from it to my computer until now. So, I plugged in the USB and downloaded Blackberry Link and it downloaded quick and easily. When I open Blackberry Link, it says Blackberry Z10 and then 'connected' underneath. But when I go to videos, music, files etc. under my device name, it says "There are no pictures/videos/files in your library". What do I do? Ive looke at so many troubleshooting pages and everything but nothing helped. So any help would be appreciated.

On your computer open My Computer and see if you have a Y:\\ and Z:\\ drive labeled "BlackBerry."
All your files will be in there and you can drag/drop them wherever you need them on your PC.

Restoring backup files to Blackberry Classic with Blackberry Link

Please help...I have backed up my old Blackberry 9000 and am now thrying to restore the data to my new Blackberry Classic. I have followed all of the instructions and I get to the restore options part, it shows the backup file but the Restore button does not highlight for me to click on? Is there something I am missing?

How you are trying to restore.
If you are trying to restore through RMAN then use SET command with the new name.
