Can't remove Automaticly downloaded music

I just got an IPhone and stupidly selected to Automaticaly download purchased music to my IPhone (kids buys stuff I don't want and we share an Itunes account). I purchased a song and  I used  it to create a ringtone.  Worked perfectly and I did it with several songs that I already had in my Itunes account.  Now on my IPhone, the newly purchased song  will only play for 30 seconds.  It shows the full 4:00 length, but it starts at 15 seconds, and stops at 45 just like I setup when I created the ringtone. I have tried to remove it and start over but it's not working.   I have deleted the ringtone in Itunes, removed my entire playlist, synced my IPhone.    All my other music is gone, but not the recently purchased stuff.   I think It's got something to do with it being automatically downloaded when purchased.
Is there some way to remove all the "Purchased Music"?  I have gone to Store and turned off automatic downloads.
When I synce it to my IPOD, the song  is fine.  When I play it in ITunes, it is fine.  Starts at the beginning, and plays until the end.

Any love here? Still having the same problem-can't sync new music added to my computer. I don't want to uncheck the manually manage music button because then the entire library will sync, and that will overload my phone.
Thanks

  • How can i remove videos and music that are not on my ipad mini but are still taking up space and are showing that they are there even after i've deleted them?

how can i remove videos and music that have been deleted from the ipad but are still showing in settings as still being on the ipad?

I believe that I have the same issue with iPad Mini with Retina Display, iOS 8.1. No matter which way I delete videos from my iPad, they will still show as "deleted", yet the space is not cleared up. I tried restore and then a full restore (clean setup as a new iPad) and it still does this to me. I can solve it by doing a restore each and every time I download a video and delete it. Rather frustrating. Has been a problem since day 1 of iOS 8. I'm yet to try the power+home button reset. It may very well work, but I am surprised that a "fresh setup" of an iPad didn't resolve it from ever occurring.

  • How do I removed the downloaded music from my ipad in the Music app with effecting icloud music?

My music was taking up too much space so I joined itunes match, but the 6 gigs of my music is still on my ipad. How do I removed the downloaded music from my ipad in the Music app without affecting icloud music? I clicked to replace all music with icloud music. They both appear in Music and I don't see anywhere to remove all downloaded music. If I delete all music, I fear it will delete all music in iCloud. I assumed by joining iTunes Match that I would get the 6 gigs back for other items since my music should be on iCloud now. If that is not the case then I need to get my $ back for Match.

Removing music from an iOS device does not remove it from the cloud.
Go to Settings > General > Usage and tap Music (you may need to scroll down in the list). Swipe across "all music" and tap DELETE.

  • Can the volume for downloaded music tracks be synced and how

can the volume for downloaded music tracks from itunes be synced and how if so

Hard to know what the cause is  because it's like this
I know what I did to cause this. I upgraded my one of my hard drives, renamed the drive and moved the folder. The missing pictures it can't find were added with the option in the advance menu "copy photo to library" turned off.
    and this
What I did is added a small SSD as my primary drive. Put the OS and all the apps on it.  Moved my iPhoto and iTunes libraries to an large external.  Most of the picture it is not having a problem wth.  Only certain ones.  Don't actually think I unchecked tha prefeence, but it's acting like i have.
seem to be written by two different people.

  • Where can i find automatic download for itune

How can I get to ''automatic download'' to transfer my new purchase on itune in Icloud ?

If it is available in your area it'll be on the following page:
    Settings>Store.
There will be two switches, one to turn on automatic downloads of music, and the other for apps. If its available in your country then that's where you'll find it.

Did you hold the Command (Apple) key while dragging them off the sidebar? That usually makes them go *poof*.

  • How can I remove all the music from my iPhone?

I want to remove all the music from my iPhone 5 (Current iOS) and then load a completely new set of songs from my Mac (Current OS).
How do I do that ?
Even when I define a specific new playlist and tell it to apply only that it still does not remove the unwanted songs.
    Thanks !

I feel I've explained plenty what you must do but you aren't getting it.
All music on your old iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Transfer the music from your iTunes library on your computer to your new iPhone in the same way it was transferred from your iTunes library to your old iPhone - via the iTunes sync/transfer process.
Since you prefer the manual way, you must manually drag and drop the same 377 songs from your iTunes library to your new iPhone - in the same way the 377 songs were manually transferred from your iTunes library to your old iPhone.
Or you can sync which provides more options overall. Create an iTunes playlist for the 377 songs. Select Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and choose selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Select the iTunes playlist below that includes the 377 songs followed by a sync.

  • How can I remove a downloaded file from the desktop?

    Hi,
I downloaded an install Internet Call Director exe file from my internet privider then was told that their system couldn't run on Mac OS 10. There are two files on my desktop that I can't remove. When I drag either one to the trash i get this message. "the item installICD.EXE is being used by another task right now.(Other tasks include moving, copying, or emptying the trash.)" There is nothing else running. I have tried renaming the file,Clearing the download manager, and anything else I could think of. The files will not open and will not delete even using CMD delete. I am not a computer person! How can I get rid of the files??
    iMac G4   Mac OS X (10.2.x)

If you haven't already done so, change the filenames so that they have an extension of .rtf, and then open TextEdit. Overwrite both files with blank TextEdit documents and then throw away the TextEdit documents.
If the TextEdit method doesn't work, open the Script Editor in the /Applications/AppleScript/ folder and enter the following:
    tell application "Finder"
set file type of (selection as alias) to "1234"
    end tell
Select the file in the Finder and run the script. Repeat this for the second file; when done, try throwing them away again.

  • TS4223 I can not recover my download music back on my phone since I have updated my phone to the 4s and it was not save on I clouds before I updated my phone is it anyway I can get my brought music back?

I'm tryin to re-store all of my download music from iTunes store that I have purchase off my iPhone now since I have update my phone but nothing on my phone was backed up in I cloud so can I retrieve all my music back?

You can re-download your purchased music (and other media) again for free, either in iTunes or on your phone (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519).  Music from other sources, however, should already be in your iTunes library and can be synced back to your phone.  If it wasn't, then you will have to re-import it to iTunes  (such as by re-ripping your CDs) first.
