My storage is full on iCloud but it won't let me manage my storage and remove old storage.

Did you created your NEW Apple ID or just change the alternate email? You have to create your own Apple ID based on your email.

The only photos stored on icloud are...
1) photos in the camera roll that are included in a backup to icloud. But you can turn off backups of such photos.
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage, tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned OFF if you don't want to store photos in a backup.
2) Photos stored in photo stream. But these do not count against your storage, so it doesn't matter.
That's it. There are no other photos on icloud that you can remove.

iOS has got Messages app, which uses iMessage to send and receive messages. iMessage can only be used in iPhones, iPads, iPods touch and Macs, not on your Samsung Galaxy phone.
You need an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac to remove your iPhone's phone number from Messages. After getting one, open Settings > Messages > Send and Receive, and remove your phone number. After doing this, when one of your contacts choose your phone number in Messages app, it will send a SMS instead of an iMessage

Can't remove email from icloud

I have updated my account information on my apple id and deleted an alternate email address replacing it with a new one. I've saved the changes but when I go onto my ipad 4 or iPhone 5 in settings, icloud account information the old email still remains in the advanced section which can't be edited. I've turned off phone and restarted and done a backup just to see if this made any difference, I even signed out and back in but nothing updates the details. I need to remove this email as it was a joint one with an ex :0(. Has anyone got any ideas how I might fix this. Cheers

I recently purchased a second hand iphone4 not jailbroken and i already restored it to factory settings but i can't log in to icloud using my account because it states that "The maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this iPhone". My dad gave me his old iphone as he got an upgrade. I can't seem to change his icloud account to mine. I'm getting his updated calender and his mail - and there seems to be some confusion between both our accounts. He seems to be acquiring some of my contacts - some of which have names which have led to some probing questions... So basically this needs to be sorted out! How can i delete his account from the iphone but not his whole icloud account? he would not be happy if i did this...

My wife and I share our calendars and she uses it very frequently. Every time she enters a new event on her calendar I get a notice (invitation?) in the Calendar app, even though I am not invited to the event she created.
I would like to continue being able to share our calendars but I do not want the hassle of an Invitation popping up every time she enters an event.

You can sync photos and itunes content with one and only one computer at a time. When you sync to another, it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.

I've noticed that my iCloud backups are constantly hitting their 5GB max, even after clearing out camera rolls, etc.
After some testing, I've found that iMessages are also backed up. For someone like me, I'm constantly sending pictures / videos to friends and family, having a little guy under a year old (but that's not important).
In any case, it seems you can set iCloud backup for just about every app EXCEPT iMessages. The only way I've found to solve this is to constantly delete message threads from my iPhone, so that they aren't taking up iCloud space. But this honestly is a bit of a pain (okay, only a little bit)... why can't I keep my messages around for as long as I want, without backing them up?

Make sure you have their icloud email they use for imessage in their contact information before sending them an imessage.

When you move a folder to iCloud Drive, it will upload the contents of this folder to iCloud Drive, but it may take a long tome, even for small items. You may see progress bars, while the contents is uploading. And the folder may look empty, until it will be updated from iCloud. For example - shortly after adding the folder "neueBilder" to iCloud Drive.

In which case, you have an iPad that you'll never be able to use.
There is no way around the Activation Lock. It is a security feature.
Did you not check that the device had been properly wiped and reset before buying it?

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.

You are correct, you cannot delete songs from iTunes in the Cloud. This is where all of your purchases are permanently stored so if you want to re-download something you can. Sometimes purchases will no longer be available, if the merchant pulls them from the iTunes store, but for the most part, all of your past purchases will remain in iTunes in the Cloud.
This has absolutely nothing to do with iTunes Match.

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. I want to switch my main iCloud Apple ID account with another one, but to do that do I have to delete the account? and if I do delete the main account that the iCloud is on now, will it delete the whole account or will it just remove it from iCloud?
