Can't render long videos

Hello everyone!
Recently, I have been having some problems with rendering out final videos. Whenever I try to export a video in any format that is over 10 minutes, Premiere pro crashes at 100% and says 00:01 time left. This only started a few days ago. Anything less then 10 minutes, everything goes fine. I have done some different things, and i can say that it is not a lack of RAM or CPU because i have 16GB of RAM and an intel I7. It definitly is not a HHD problem because i have a bit over 3TB on my drive.
It meets all of the system requirements to the reccamended specs on Adobes website.

Can't Share Long Videos

As of a few weeks ago I've lost the ability to stream long videos on my network. My Intel iMac and G4 iBook can connect to the internet, share files of any size wirelessly via the Finder, and share music via iTunes, but trying to play a shared iTMS TV show will hang iTunes. I've reapplied the recent Quicktime update, the recent Security Update, even the 10.4.6 update, to no effect. Both machines are fully up to date as far as Software Update is concerned.
Hooking the two computers up directly with ethernet, I can share with iTunes just fine. I thought it was my router (an old Netgear) but it worked fine before a few weeks ago, and the same thing happens in iTunes even if I use another old iBook as a router to share my internet connection.
In short - everything's working fine except long iTunes videos won't share. Any ideas?

I have not seen this behavior in short vs. long movies, but I have seen it in videos that have the streaming hint set (eg video podcasts, trailers from the apple.com website) vs. not set (movies made in iMovie, etc). This appears to have been the result of a change in recent weeks to (I'm guessing) QuickTime. Try this: find a video that you cannot share either through iTunes or Front Row, import it into QuickTime Pro, export it using File -> Export -> Use: Streaming - Medium, load it into iTunes, then see if you can share it.

If you can reproduce the behavior above, please consider filing an additional request so it gets some attention. Apple seems to have (perhaps unwittingly) broken highly desirable QuickTime behavior, and the workaround (re-exporting with streaming hint set) requires QT Pro ($30) and time & effort, and won't work on purchased content.

IPod can't play long videos

Hey I recently downloaded some concert clips from a band, some of the clips last up to around 7 mins, and some are just standard 3 or 4 mins. The shorter ones play perfectly on the iPod, but when I try to play the longer ones, it freezes about 30 secs in. I can't escape from it by just pushing menu, but I'd like to play these vids on my iPod. Any suggestions?
PS - If it helps, I used the Videora iPod Converter to convert them from Windows Media

I can't render to video from photoshop 6

I am a student in animation and media design. I have used photoshop in CS4 to animate in the past then I switched to creative cloud. Another student thinks that I am getting it to render and its playback is just to fast for me to see but I have adjusted the settings and used different formats but it is all the same. What else could it be?

Can I render Videos with my GPU? With AME or Adobe Premiere?

I record xbox gameplays and post them on youtube. although, my question is can i render my videos with my GPU instead of my CPU with AME or Adobe Premiere and if i can i would like to know please. i usually record 25-40 minute long videos and i like to to render them at maximun depth so they can look nice and crisp but each video is taking around 12 to 15 hours to render.

Try File > Export > Media straight from Premiere Pro instead of the queue in AME. You do not need to check Maximum Bit Depth when you're exporting directly from Premiere Pro which uses the GPU for certain processes, including scaling.

Please help me with this urgent viewing and editing question for a long video clip.

Hi, I have never used this software before and when I imported a 2 hours and 12 minute video clip of my sister's wedding into the system and added it as one sequence into the program it would only allow me to watch and edit the first 2 minutes.
Why is that and how can I rectify this so that I can watch and edit the whole clip?
Also, can such a long video clip be edited by trimming it and creating transitions where I see fit?

Help! I can no longer choose Adobe Media Encoder when trying to Render a Video.

When I try to Render a Video, only the JPG option is available, but I need to render a Quicktime.
Most likely related is a new error I receive when launching Photoshop CS6 Extended: "Could not complete your request because of a program error." This dialog box has an OK button. Once i click this, it opens no problem. Had been ignoring this until today when I couldn't render my video.
I have not changed anything with Photoshop so not sure why this is happening now, when it didn't use to before.
Please help!

Sorry, of course you would need that. I'm running Windows 7 Professional and have Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended for 64-bit. PS version number is 13.0.1 x64.
What else would be needed?

Moved to college and can no longer video i chat

i just recentely moved in to my college dorm and now can not long video ichat with one of my friends back home. everytime i try to connect with them on video i get an error that i didnt respond. how do i fix this!?!!?!?!?

I'd also suggest asking your friend if they can change their setup.
To test - disconnect their router and plug directly into their cable modem with their computer, turn on/off the cable modem for a few min to let it reset. If this works, then your friend can fix it by forwarding ports on their end.
In my experience, port connection issues are worsened when both people are behind routers of some kind. Sometimes if 1 person is behind a router and the other person isn't - it works. (even if the one with the router is not configured correctly). So in your situation if you are only interested in chatting with one of your friends, you could fix this by asking him to fix his settings/test without router.
Also try video chatting over skype, for some reasons skype never has firewall issues, they must have written their software correctly.

The computer not working in no way means the drive is inaccessible.
Place the drive in an external enclosure.
Use the backup of the computer to restore the data to the new computer.

The YouTube app is not included in iOS 6 (I think because the licensing agreement with google ended). You will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google, and other people have said that they are working on an iPad version), or (if this isn't the version that you have tried) try accessing the mobile version via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)

i run premiere cc under w8.1 pro 64bit
i would like to know can i avoid to recode/render my video if i edit/add audio ?
in case i can do ,is video codec dependent ?
for example i load a video avi Codec: MPEG-4 Video (XVID) i had to edit the audio , and i want to save , is there a way to avoid another render/recode ?

The nice fellow over at this site created an audio only cross dissolve in Motion and inlcuded the files and instructions for getting it into FCP X.

Yes, I know. I have been working with HDV for some time. I am wondering why it doesn't render when it needs to.. the red and bright-green lines are above, and I've set the render settings such that ANYTHING I highlight and hit apple-R will render. But its not rendering at all.

When I render a video Pre Elements 12 or 13 and save it to work on later. When I bring it back up the rendered file is not saved. I have to render it again. Can it be saved. Pre Ele 1 would save.
