Can't reply to people who send me mail
Whenever I want to reply to an email it says "A copy has been placed in your outbox. The recipient (their email) was rejected by the server." PLZ HELP!
Is this one particular sender, or all?
some Email servers will reject certain e mail addresses, particularly if they are 'forwarded'. Some smaller ISPs simply forward their traffic through larger services, and in many cases these are associated with spam type services. So many main line servers simply reject the e mail.

That error doesn't usually occur for any other reason than the password being incorrect. Mail errors are usually pretty darn specific. Try removing it from the phone and readding it

Mail - can't reply to a particular sender
I suddenly can't reply to someone's email - the reply button doesn't do anything when clicked in situ. If I open the email in its own window I can 'reply' but it deletes the original email (I've not accidentally highlighed the text) but it does leave the header text - which I can't deletel. Often I can't type.
The person who is sending these problematic emails is using an Exchange 2007 account via Outlook for Mac. As it's a shared company address I also have the account on my Mac - I disabled email for it (left the calendar on), rebooted but there's no difference.
I used Lion with iCloud.

CAN'T RECEIVE VALIDATION CODE TO SEND PHOTO MAIL
Trying to send photomail from elements 11. can't receive validation code. Tried adding adobe to my address book didn't help.

Perhaps he composed the e-mail as an HTML e-mail. Unfortunately, Outlook messes this up, and doesn't even remotely verify as true HTML. It is closer to a Frontpage composition. Remind your sender, not everyone uses Outlook, and to read this

Sorry, but the regular Internet standards compliant protocols POP, IMAP and SMTP used in Thunderbird and other email clients don't offer any form of recall.
Certain closed or proprietary systems do allow recall, but they aren't using POP, IMAP and SMTP. Even in MS Exchange, it works only for internal messages. Once a message has passed out onto the Internet it becomes un-recallable. -
I have had this one user who sends me mail who I can not hit reply when his name is in either the "From" or "CC" fields. It has been happening for many many months, and the recent OS upgrade didn't seem to help.

To watch the system.log and indeed there is a problem whenever I select an email with this user's name. When I select the mail I see:

But what is really baffling me is there is nothing in the name that doesn't follow a simple email address. Is there any way I can track this down further to figure out even *what* character in the name it's complaining about? I truly can see nothing. Clearly this is a problem with this one user's address, and all I'm really looking for is a why (given I can't see anything other than standard english characters). I've viewed the source of the email, I've copied/pasted the name and compared the ascii/hex codes of each character.
I have tried this on both my macbook and imac with the same error. Oddly, I can hit reply to this user with no issues whatsoever on my ipad.I just want to say I am experiencing something very similar to this as well.
An email that is forwarded and sometimes sent FROM only 1 user in my company is having this affect when sending from Outlook 2011 and it only affects people receiving the email in Apple Mail.
Once the email is received in Apple Mail and opened, you cannot close the message window, nor can you foward, reply, or edit the message. You have to Force Quit Mail to close the opened mail message window.
I got the same errors above in Console and I've exhausted my Google searches for this. Does anyone else know what's going on?
Some searches on "DOMException> *** INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR: DOMException 5" pointed to some Java errors. The person who is the source of the email problem did not have Java installed. I installed the latest version it detected on the Mac (10.7.5) but it did not resolve the issue. The recipients of the problematic email all have the latest Java version installed.
I'm at a loss here. -

How can I change email address RIM sends mail to?
I have two emails, one that's strictly friends and family, and one for everything else. A while back I changed the "everything else" address to gmail. Although I've never submitted my personal address to RIM (other than setting up that email on my phone), they've begun spamming my personal mail with daily "notifications." I don't mind getting the mail, but 1. I don't want it coming to my personal address, and 2. I find it very disturbing that RIM harvested my personal account info to use at their convenience. I see in the emails I receive I can "unsubscribe," although they'll still send me mail they deem important. I don't want that, I want to give them my new everything address, so they'll stay out of my personal acct. I have thoroughly searched their site, but see no way to submit this new address, or to set up my acct preferences for my interaction with RIM. Please tell me how to change my address with RIM, or to at least contact them, not about my phone, but about their service (there doesn't appear to be any such option among the "Contact Us" selections they offer). I promise you, from all I've seen, you would have had to check a box in something stating you want to receive updates, etc., from BlackBerry. They certainly haven't "harvested" your email address from simply being loaded to your BlackBerry.
You need to unsuscribe from the current emails you're getting. Even if you don't want to.
You probably downloaded an OS or file update or Desktop Software somewhere that you clicked to agree to receive updates.

As far as i know , it is not possible to send a mail through external server (lotus notes).
If u dont have the authorizations then just check it with ur BASIS guy.. he can provide u with the same..

I dont think its possible using Send mail step type.
But it can be done by using the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1. Just create a method and Call this FM accordingly.

Have you tried to set "Output Format" for "RAW Text" to HTM in SCOT.
If HTM is missing in your dropdown-list, you could check out table SXCONVERT2. Copy the line with category T/format TXT, and change the format from TXT to HTM. The existing function
SX_OBJECT_CONVERT__T.TXT does not need to be changed. Now you should be able to choose HTM in SCOT. You will probably need som HTML-tags in your text to make it look good.

Sending OUTLOOK mail from Workflows

Please help me in getting out of this error encountered during a sample workflow thing.
Here is the requirement I need to send a OUTLOOK mail from SAP.If the user accepts the workflow task then mail need to send a recipient ,stating that he accepthed the request.

Here's some friendly advice for you:
- don't post the same question twice
- if you get a specific error message ('wait for communications service'), try investigating it yourself by googling it.
In this case, your issue is almost certainly with your mail setup - you can confirm this by trying to send a mail from SBWP to an external address. If so, it's a Basis issue, not workflow. You can safely hand it off to your Basis team.

I can't send iMessage to some people who I used to be able to, prior to iOS7 upgrade.
I can't send iMessage to some people who I used to be able to, prior to iOS7 upgrade. I'm sure these people are still using iPhones. Is there something to do with my settings? Or theirs?
I got my problem solved but I'm not sure what solved it. I DFU mode my iPhone and then restarted it, the other person only restarted it and now we can iMessage normally. Recently I had the same issue with a new contact but the next day got solved but I didn't do anything.
I hope this gives you some answers insetad of more questions =S...
