If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. -

Is that a 404? If yes, then check if you do not have the Export Page option disabled for the page in question in the context menu in Plan/Design mode. If that is not the case, then a URL would help in identifying the issue.

Firefox keeps crashing and I cannot figure out why.
I posted this question a few days ago and got 3 email responses, one of which asked for diagnostic codes related to the crashes. I have tried twice to reply to that email, but my mailer daemon will not let it go through because it thinks that I'm trying to send code or something, so I am going to copy and paste them here. Actually, I am going to post the last 5 Dx codes because it has now crashed twice in 10 minutes. If you want the others, I will try to email them from a different account (I have 4). Thanks for any help you can provide. I am running Win 7 Ultimate (64 bit) on a Pentium 3.3 Ghz with 2 Megs of RAM. The crashing problem has actually been happening for a while now, since version 25. However, now it is happening many times daily. It's not my virus protection because I have had 3 virus programs in the time it has been happening. It's not malware. I scan a minimum of 3 x/week. And yes, it has crashed in "Safe" mode. I have tried every suggestion in the help articles so it's not any of those. I just want someone to tell me what it IS and how to fix it. Thanks. Could you try disabling the add-on and see if it fixed the issue?

I have been trying all day to access gmail on mozilla. I installed, uninstalled, and re-installed Firefox and I keep getting the same warning whenever I try gmail. All other sites function perfectly.
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again. -

Try this.
Type in the address bar about:config.
Accept the warning.
In the page that appears, in the Filter box, type network.http.max-connections. Change the value to 32 (which is probably set to 256 in your case).
Close that page. Restart the browser. -
Impdp is referencing wrong dmpdir and I cannot figure out why
Hi. So, here are the facts in my Oracle 11g database:
Oracle considers /u03/admin/orcl/dpdump to be the datapump dir:
SQL> select directory_path from dba_directories where directory_name = 'DATA_PUMP_DIR';
DIRECTORY_PATH
/u03/admin/orcl/dpdump
The oracle user has DPUMP_DIR set to that directory as well:
$ env
DPUMP_DIR=/u03/admin/orcl/dpdump
And in my parfile I have:

Yet, when I try to execute impdp I get this:

Why is it looking in the wrong directory like that?It looks like you are expecting your PAR file to interpret and replace environment variables with their actual values.
Two things. One I'm not sure if the parameter files are interpreted that way (haven't tested, never had a need). Secondly, the DIRECTORY parameter needs an Oracle directory object; In this case you'd provide DATA_PUMP_DIR.
Read up on the DIRECTORY parameter in the Utilities guide for your version at http://tahiti.oracle.com

I'm expreriencing the same conditions with the same environment. Windows 8, iTunes-64 11.1.2.32, iTunes Store with a processing bar up to 80 +/- and the POPUP MESSAGE OF "iTunes stopped working. The error ...."
I UNINSTALLED, iTUNES WITH NO POSITIVE RESULT. I CHECKED THE FIREWALL AND IS THE SAME DEFINITION AS THE PREVIOUS ITUNES VERSION.
My iTunes StoreS from my iPhones ARE OK.

After using Firefox successfully for months, it started not loading full pages today, but showing "done" in the status bar at the bottom. I also noticed icons for Javascript, Java, Silverlight, etc., on the right side of status bar, JAVA one is red, but I don't know what that means.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

If the videos are in an iPhone compatible format and are in a folder of photos selected to be transferred to your iPhone under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, do you also have Include Videos selected under the Photos tab?
Or if the videos are in an iPhone compatible format, they need to be in your iTunes library and can be selected under the Movies tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes to be transferred to your iPhone. -
Can anyone out there help me figure out why I am having trouble opening a gray scale tiff in ID and
I have been opening tiffs and coloring them successfully for years, and all of a sudden it is not working. I made a logo in Illustrator, saved it as an ai, opened that in PS, saved as a grayscale tiff, and then opened it in ID. First the white background box was there, so I went back into Illustrator and knocked out group, then in PS preserved transparancy. I succeeded in losing the white box, but then in ID when I tried to color it, nothing happened. I checked all my ID settings, and just cannot figure out why this is happening.
Colorizing in ID works for NON-transparent grayscales or Bitmap mode raster files only.
A Bitmap mode image in a frame filled with [None] and colorized will appear transparent in the white areas, but you'll need to ad a clipping path for grayscale, or change the blend mode and live with overprints, which you probbly don't want. -
Newbie: Can't figure out why GUI is freezing
Hello, I am trying to make my very first program with Swing, and I cannot figure out why it freezes and what I need to do to prevent that from happening. This program simulates this game of life. If a button is selected (alive) and 2 or 3 (only) buttons surrounding it are also selected, then the button selected gets to stay selected. Otherwise it dies. Also, if an empty button is surrounded by exactly 3 selected button, it also becomes alive. Here is the code:

I have a strong feeling that it is because of the semi-infinite for loop in the start button's ActionEvent, but I feel that the program needs to have this because it is supposed to go on until the user presses stop. Please help!
