Can't retrieve missing points - Errors

I have a lot of receipts I've been meaning to add to my account for the Reward Zone points but every time I try it gives me errors. "Please check the information you entered and try again."
I've re-entered the codes many many times so I know they are correct. This issue has been going on for a long time with the website. I keep checking back but it seems it won't be fixed any time soon, so I'm hoping my receipts that date back a few months will still work.
Any way I can get these added?

If the purchases in-question are not already attached to a My Best Buy™ account and the "Customer Service Pin Number" is being entered correctly, then a purchase should appear within 3 to 5 business days. Please keep in mind that purchases made more than 180 days ago cannot be reported.

Missing points + error when attempting to report them with form

Heya, I made a substantial purchase (multiple appliances) on the website on June 15 and the points aren't showing up in any way (pending or other). When I try to fill in the form for missing points, I get this message "The information entered doesn't match our records. If the purchase was made in the past few hours, please try again later.". And, obviously, the purchase was made many weeks ago, so that's not the problem. Where do I go from here? Thanks.

That is why you have been encountering errors while trying to report it as "missing" on BestBuy.com. You will not see points emerge as pending until after the items you purchased have been shipped or delivered, and once those points are pending, they should officially post within 20 days.

untill i replace this phone with a black screen if i miss a call i can't tell who it was.

I know how important it is to identify missed calls. Unfortunately, when a call is not answered a connection is not made with our towers. Which means we would not have any record of an unanswered call. I would definitely encourage you to implement of budone's suggestions until you are able to replace your phone. Can't Report Missing Points

I pre-ordered Call of Duty Advanced Warfare with store pick up so I would go to midnight release and at same time get the 500 points for pre-ordering. It has been a week and its not showing up in my points history. I did the same with Sunset Overdrive and those points and transaction is showing up. My pre-order does show in the "Online Order Status". I'm dissapointed!

Enuf is spot-on: you may not necessarily see records of your base points or pre-order bonus certificate for 15-20 days after pickup or shipment. If you still haven't received them after that window has passed, let us know and we'd be glad to look into the situation on your behalf at that time.

I get this error: Can't retrieve essential parameter (12250.305.770).
Then the installation just hangs at 66% completion and nothing more happens. Win XP, latest patches, IE 7.

If possible, temporarily disable your AntiVirus/Windows Smartscreen and run it. You can also boot into Safe mode with networking, download and run it.
Virus scan of the file showing it's clean. Flagged by Symantec/Norton as being non popular. Though not on this list Windows 8+ Smartscreen will also tend to block the download if Smartscreen is enabled (system-wide)

How can I export an iMove Project if the Event file was deleted? (Missing Media error message)

Deep iMovie question:
I accidentally deleted various EVENT files from my iMove EVENTS folder. Yes, they are really gone ... this is NOT a matter of restoring them from the trash.
The projects are still there ... I can still watch the projects as long as I am in iMovie ... but if I try to export the Project I get the MISSING MEDIA error message.
Logic tells me that if I can view the project ... the file has to be SOMEWHERE inside my computer ... else I couldn't be watching it ... right? I mean what am I watching if not some file somewhere which has moving pictures stored in it?
So HOW do I get to something I can export? What am I watching when I watch the project?
I have iMove 08 on iMac with OS 10.6.8
Normally works great for my simple needs ... except if you move or delete an event file ...
Can anyone out there help?

You can restore them from your backup - if you havn't got a backup then you'll need to re-purchase them. Media (music, films, tv shows) can only be downloaded from iTunes once, which is why you are advised to make and maintain backup(s) of your purchased (and any other important) content.

Getting error message can't retrieve essential parameter (1629.301.749), after Adobe Download Manager pop up for installation. I have uninstalled/reinstalled flash player numerous times. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ notes I have the latest version installed, but I am unable to access full Adobe Flash Player functions on various sites such as Facebook, etc. I can't find anything in the Adobe KB. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm back. The dwld worked for 2 days and now I'm back to the notification that I need to update my Flash Player. I used the link you previously provided http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html to download the .exe again, but I'm getting the same message for both Mozilla & IE. As I previously stated, there is no file folder in the Registry for Flash Player under HK HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Adobe. Does anyone know the KEYS for Flash Player, that I could add manually?

Did you purchase them through iTunes? You should be able to Download previously purchased items that you own again for free.

SUM checks the libc version by parsing the output of 'ldd --version'.
The java code looks like this:

With newer releases of libc, the output of ldd --version no longer contains a string matching the pattern "libc\\) ", so this fails.
A rather quick-and-dirty workaround:
- rename the ldd executable to ldd.exe
- create the following shell script named ldd in /usr/bin:

As SUM ignores the PATH variable it is not possible to place the modified ldd into some other directory.

"Victory can be pre-ordered" missing points

on Oct 23rd i preordered two games on bestbuy.com. Sunset overdrive (xbox one) and Call of Duty: Advance warfare (PS4). Both games were eligible for the "Victory can be pre-ordered" bonus points yet when i look at my purchase history it would appear that only sunset overdrive received the bonus points.
I had sunset overdrive delivered to me by mail. Call of duty, I chose to pick up at a store. I tried to call 888 best buy, but 888 best buy is just horrible. Everytime i call its over a 20 minute wait, I get someone who barely speaks english and after 30 or more minutes of trying to explain what im calling about the representative tried to tell me that because i preordered both games on the same receipt that only one game gets the bonus points. I debated that i am able to preorder as many different titles as i like on one receipt and as long as they are eligible for the promotion i should get it for each one. she then stated she would "transfer" to the elite plus hotline which resulted in the call being disconnected.
Who should i contact in regards to the missing points. I remember in the past there was a specific way to email representatives that handled reward zone issues but I did not see that option anywhere in the mybestbuy account. nor could i find the exclusive number elite plus members should call if they have any concerns. any and all information is greatly appreciated as well as your time and consideration regarding this matter.

Like enuf mentioned, it typically takes 15-20 days from the time of shipment or pickup for pre-order bonus certificates to post. The associated points may also never appear as pending, and instead simply be listed in your points history on/around the original order date. You'll want to look for an adjustment that says either "Get $10" or "Victory Can Be Pre-Ordered" for each game.

Unless you manually set your backup settings to exclude your camera roll, camera roll photos and videos are included in your iCloud backup. If the missing videos were on you phone when it was last backed up, restoring to the backup should recover them.
