Can't "Retrieve" Pic Text

I am trying to send a MMS (ringtones) to my phone via email to the phone from my PC. I did this with no problems a few weeks ago. Now for 2 days in a row, I get the text on the phone.....then hit the "Allow" choice and then I get this message.
"Someone sent you a message but it can't be retrieved right now"
I do not have a block on: Block Premium Messaging or Block Picture and Video Messaging
Every other block is set to on though.
Do I have to unblock the "Block All Data Services" too? I do not recall if I had this blocked when I first sent the ringtones to the phone as a MMS text.

Ok I finally figured out why I could only get basic texts.....
I had blocked all data setting in the hidden menu of my Kin TwoM phone settings. OOPS....notti me.
This definitely worked well to keep any data fees off my bill, but I will now watch to make sure my blocks I set on my online plan settings, keep the data fees off with this hidden block feature off.

I would use a program like iExplorer to perusue your backups.
1. Search for iExplorer, download it, install it.
2. Plug in your phone
3. Click continue with Demo on the lower right
4. On the left side panel select "Browse iTunes Backups"
5. From here select the iOS device and then click Messages... now you can look through your messages..buying iExplorer will allow you to search your messages.
Also, check out DiskAid, I believe it will let you look through your backups and search may work without purchasing, just understand that both programs will have some limitation in demo mode.

Somebody deleted a string of text messages from my iPhone 5 and I want to know if they can be retrieved and if so how? I'm new to the iPhone as this is my first apple product. SMS text messages are backed up with the iPhone - whether it's locally or to iCloud. If you've already written over the backup that had them (as in, backed up after the delete) then they're gone.
If you still have a backup available from a time where you had the messages on your iPhone, all you have to do is erase the iPhone and restore from that backup.
"Retrieve deleted messages from iPhone" is simple as pie.

I think you can retrieve old messages. I have done it to the extent of a couple months on my iPhone looking up some info I needed. What I did was kept scrolling back to "load earlier messages" and they kept coming till I got to the info I wanted. They are always telling you this stuff lives forever, at least in court supeonas.
I have wondered if I could go back through the iMessages using my lap top. As a parent of young adults, their messages to me through the last several years are such a travelogue of their lives, I wouldn't mind reading it again. Probably someone in criminal justice would know how to do it better.

Just downloaded all my favorite pics into the free trial of Photoshop. Apparently it was an old offer. Now I can't access my pics and it erased them from my memory card. The offer said it would send an unlock code to my email. Surprise, the email says "too late." I'm beside myself trying to retrieve my pictures.

Can't retrieve pics or video from the media card in curve 8320

Hi. New & dumb to smartphones, so this 8320 is a big step into the current world. It was cheap, works great & I'm slowly getting it figured out.
Only one issue so far. When I took pics without a media card & they were stored on the device, I could use the desktop software to transfer them to my computer.
After I installed a media card, even though the the pics & videos are stored on the card and I can view them on the phone, the desktop software doesn't see them. It only shows the device. In the options menu, the media card support is on, & mass storage mode is enabled,
When I plug the phone in to the computer, even though the computer beeps to show connection & the BB desktop software shows the phone connected, windows explorer does not recognize an external drive (phone) and in the desktop software there is no option for storing the pics on anything other than the device. I can remove the card & use a card reader to transfer the pics, but the BB software can't see them.
What am I missing?

I created an album to move pictures from my Camera Roll into that album. After moving them over into the new album, I tried deleting them out of the camera roll but ended up deleting them completely. Is there any way I can retrieve them? Is there a trashbin I can retrieve them from???

Camera roll photos are stored in the iPhone backup so if the photos were on your phone when you last synced you could restore your phone to the backup to recover them provided you have not synced your phone again since losing the photos. Note: this will revert all settings and data to those contained in the backup, not just photos. If you want to do this, do the following:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Connect your phone to your computer, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose your most recent backup to restore from.
When complete, you can go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing.

If your last backup was taken BEFORE you sent/received the text messages, they obviously won't be recoverable.
