I keep getting the trial prompt for photoshop, even though I'm still running the student edition payment plan, and it hasn't expired. Is this a glitch or has the plan been altered? Help please.

Using the current version of photoshop CC with Mac OS 10.9 for the next 5 or so years on same mac?

I am intending to upgrade to photoshop CC from photoshop CS6, my concern is is my computer is 6 years old and probably I will not be able to upgrade to a later mac operating system as I have mac os 10.9, and I may not be able to upgrade to a future version of photoshop, will I be able to use the current version of photoshop CC with Mac OS 10.9 for the next 5 or so years on same mac?, I know I can do this with Photoshop CS6.

There's no reason why you can't do both. You will always have CS6 to fall back on if the need should ever arise, the same as most of the regular posters here. But you could enjoy CC for as long as it suited you, and it has some very features and more are coming all the time.
We've seen two nice updates to Photoshop CC in the eight months since the subscription model went live. (Have I got that right?) So we can expect three a year or more, and there were some killer new features in 14.2. Heck, it would already break my heart if I had to go back to CS6. In another four years... It ain't gonna happen.

I'm working on a 30 day trial even though I've already paid for the full suite.

After effects keeps asking me for a serial number.
Illustrator works fine.

Thx to customer service I managed to fix the issue but next day Creative Cloud Desktop app started crashing seconds after initiating. I could run the apps I had donwloaded but couldn't update or download new apps.
So I gave up and rebooted my computer.
Everything is working perfectly now!

Itunes 6.0.4 can't find 80% of my songs even though they're still there

i'm having the following problem, since upgrading to 6.0.4 on my Windows XP machine:
net: ~20% of my song files will play as normal, ~80% of the songs in itunes say they can't find original file and i have to manually locate to find, they're all still there in their original location
did some troubleshooting and manual analysis of the itunes library .xml file and discovered that the difference is that some of my songs were ripped "with track number prefix" and some without. this appears to be the discrepancy
e.g. the itunes music library .xml file is pointing to:
C:\...\itunes\itunes music\...\03 Songname.mp4
when the actual file is at
C:\...\itunes\itunes music\...\Songname.mp4
or vice versa.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to correct? i'm open to all suggestions including e.g. suggestions for how to either update the .xml file or rename the affected files?
note: re-adding folder to library is not a valid solution for me as it would require deleting the "missing" songs as duplicates and net will delete all my ratings, genre, etc. for the "missing" songs.

If so, assuming you know exactly where they are, hold the "Option" key while opening iTunes from your dock. You will then be given a "Choose Library" option. Choose it and point to your library.

Suddenly can't connect to internet even though it's still connected to the network. Why?

Tried restarting, forgetting, resetting. It worked for like 1 min randomly, then stopped working again. It only works if I move closer to router. Laptop and another Ipad both work fine. Just don't understand why my ipad stopped working suddenly when it was fine before.

I am trying to use the photoshop program now that I have signed up for the creative cloud suite. It's not letting me use photoshop.

Try uninstalling.
Then run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool.

My bookmarks toolbar is blank even though I have bookmarks set for the toolbar

If I click on the Bookmarks tab, the drop down window shows the sites I have selected for the bookmarks toolbar, but the toolbar is blank. This is a new problem - I used to be able to see the sites on my bookmarks toolbar

Great question! The way to do it is, you will need to open up multiple browsers. (one for each phone number) The only thing you would need to do is log into www.vzw.com for each individual number to be able to send the text messages. Keep us posted let us know if this helps.

Can't download new version of LP (even though I got the email)

Got an email from apple saying my Pearl Jam Backspacer LP is available to download again for ATV compatibility. But when I go into iTunes and select Check for Available Downloads it says all purchases have been downloaded. Still can't access the LP on ATV as a result.
Has anyone experienced this and have a way to get it to download?

Can't unistall trial version of Photoshop CS5 extended in Windows 7

My trial version of photoshop cs5 extended has expired. I would like to unistall it. When I go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, both photoshop and bridge do not appear in the window. How do I unistall these programs?

I did go to programs and features, it is not appearing in add/remove
programs. I do have registry booster and it runs about once a month.

Installing a full version of Photoshop 6 on new iMac running SnowLeopard

I currently use a PowerPC G5 running OS 10.5.8. The G5 uses the old processors and Photoshop CS5 upgrade won't load because Photoshop CS5 only runs on the new Intel processors. My question: If I buy a new iMac with the Intel processors, is there a way to install a full version of Photoshop 6, and upgrade for Photoshop 7, CS, CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5? When my daughter tried this approach, and tried to install the full version of CS 6, she received the message Classic OS was not installed so that ended the attempt. Do I have to buy a full version Photoshop CS5 for the new iMac? Thanks for any help, Doug

Another, often cheaper, route to upgrade is to find an older version upgrade and do a two step upgrade since you are out of the Adobe window.
You may be able to find a CS3 upgrade, buy that. Then purchase the CS5 upgrade.

This route would still cost $400. But that is still a couple hundred dollars less than buying a full version of CS5 outright.
Just because Adobe stops selling older version upgrades, it doesn't mean all retailers stop selling them.

How can I open grouped folder layers from the full version of Photoshop into my Photoshop Elements 10 verison?

I have gotten a PSD from a coworker who asked for some help. He has the Full version of Photoshop and I have the Elements 10 version. I cannot open the grouped folders into individual layers and manipulate the current design that needs work. How can I get more functionality out of Elements and ungroup these layers?

Lost Serialized Insert from PC Ultimate Software Suite-Cannot Install Full Version of Photoshop Elements 12

I purchased a Dell Inspiron laptop which was bundled with PC Ultimate Software Suite, a collection of programs on one disc. It included Adobe Photoshop Elements 12, but I misplaced the insert that contained the serial key. I still have the sleeve that the CD was bundled with, as well as the CD itself. Is there anyway I can still download the full version of Photoshop Elements 12 without having to buy the program separately or buying Software Suite again?

If Dell provided the bundle you should contact Dell to see about getting a replacement or the serial for the disk.
