Can't run host function in procedure and reports

i'm unable to use the host function in reports and procedure.

Are you saying the 2 checkbox's are missing? If so ,(or even if not), perhaps you don't have the latest extension installed in flash?

I had an issue like you describe before. Everything was updated with my machine and phone, usb debugging , allow installation of non market apps... but i was not able to manually install my own apk's on my device.
If i were to put the .apk on my server or just drag it to the phone via USB i could not install it. it was "untitled" or "unknown" i forget.
The only way it would work was on export "install application on the connected android device".
However If i took anyone else's .apk made from flash, i could install it from my server or via usb drag/drop.
Even at one point someone on the forum posted an apk and the source .fla
Installed that apk? = YES
Export the same .fla myself with no changes = FAIL to install (unless launching directly from flash).
I was using windows xp, I happen to be upgrading my cpu last month so i installed windows 7 and re-installed flash, and now it works fine. I never figured it out. I was somehow producing non-viable .apks . However it works now and I have done nothing different (besides going from xp to win7 and reinstalling flash).

I'm guessing you only installed other air4android apps from the market?
If you haven't tried yet, i could email you a .fla and .apk, see if you can install that from your ftp. Then re-export if yourself and see if it fails again?

iPhone - should be all right. Mac with 10.6.8 - no - 10.7.2 is required for iCloud. I have an Intel iMac running OSX 10.6.8. I would like to use Final Cut Pro 10.1. I know I need OSX 10.9 for this. Can I run both 10.6.8 and 10.9 on the iMac ? I do not want to convert completely to 10.9 because of my existing software. Thanks for any help

It would depend on how old your IMac is, how mush memory you have, it it can be upgraded by OWC, etc. I have a 2006 Macbook Pro and would NOT put Mavericks on it or espeacially FCP 10.1.1 on it because the most memory it can have is 4 GB. You need at least 8 GB to work with Final Cut Pro 10.1.1. IMHO.
I would try to find a copy of Final Cut Express perhaps.

I have created a VI (LabVIEW 6.1) that does what you want. Note that the poles and zeros have to be entered correctly that is in Rad/s and typically with negative real part. The VI offers you all options for lin/log frequency axis, magnitude in dB or not, phase in Radians or Degrees etc...
The VI is written with "academic" in mind, so it is not optimized for performances but (hopefully) for clarity. I hope this will work for you.

Can you run Embedded PL/SQL Gateway and Oracle HTTP Server at the same time

Hi,
I know this will sound a bit odd but their is a business case for asking this. Can you run APEX via the Embedded PL/SQL Gateway and the Oracle HTTP Server at the same time? Would their be any security/stability/etc issues I'd need to worry about? I know that I'll need to run them on different ports.

I think I've done this in the past. Theres no technical reason why you can't do this as far as I know.
I can't remember if I used different ports or same port.

Running Firefox 4.0 on Mac OSX 10.6.6, using ATT mail, when I create a new email I get a browser message saying, "This page requires a plugin that can only run in 32-bit mode," and I have to restart Firefox in 32-bit mode. Is there any way around this?

I am assuming the plugin that the Firefox message is referring to is for attaching a file to the email. I say this because at the bottom of a new email it has a link that says "Attach files more easily" which, when you click it, takes you to a setup process where you download an att updater. I ran that and it did seem to change anything. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to make Firefox handle this page without having to restart in 32-bit mode every time.

That means that you need to run Firefox in 32 bit mode if you want to use that plugin.
# Close Firefox
# Open the Applications folder in Finder
# Right click or control-click the Firefox.app icon
# Select "Get Info"
# Select "Open in 32-bit mode"
# Close the "Firefox Info" window
# Restart Firefox

Can't run (Media Encoder or Encore) and Premiere Pro

I finished a sequence, started up Media Encoder, then began editing a new sequence with Premierer.
The result was that after a while, Media Encoder "Not Responding".
I started Media Encoder again and this time I left the room to watch TV.
Media Encoder built the AVI file correctly.
Also Encore died when I tried to use Premiere at the same time.
Is that the rule with CS4 applications?

In EN once I click on the Build button to begin building a DVD it will take more than 30 minutes before the DVD comes out.
In the mean time I would like to fire up PR to start editing some other project.
If that is not something I can do then I can use my KVM switch to go to my old PC and produce artwork for the DVD case.
On another topic, I am in the process of making a BluRay DVD with Encore and when I clicked on the Preview button, instead of getting the neat little window that allows me to run a simulation of the DVD menu, I got a huge version of that menu that I could not manuver to get to the controller buttons.

I continue to use Adobe Acrobat 6 Professional for its ability to combine documents, and insert and delete pages in PDFs. If I download and install Adobe Reader X, will it overwrite Acrobat 6 Pro, rendering it useless? I realize that 6 Pro if very old, but has all the functionality I need to create pdfs. I am only interested in upgrading the reader portion because I occasionally receive files created in later versions and would like to view them with all their newer functions.

Might work; might not. Legacy apps (CS2, 3, 4) that weren't built to run on modern operating systems may have trouble with Mavericks. I think you'll be OK with CS5, 6 and CC.

Can't run fingerprint software, after installation ( and a few format c:... )

Hi, maybe somebody has similarly problem... After fresh windows ( XP prof) on a t61 all of windows updates, I was trying to install fingerprint reader software. Installation was OK, but first running show license agreement, that's the end - software is freezing, can't accept, go next . I was trying to run in safe mode, license is going OK, but no drivers for reader. After normal startup, software is freezing on edit or enroll fing... Ok, maybe some of windows updates. After format c:, new windows installation, I started from installing fingerprint software, and it nothing changed... I was trying to install latest version 5.82, and after format, also 5.62. First time I have this problem, I had a few t61, and never had problem, like this... In control panel , I can enroll finger and it shows ok, so reader is working... I will try to install xp sp2 not sp3... but it was working before on sp3 but on different computer, this is new one ( I had hdd from old computer t61 and reader was working fine). hope somebody help with this...

Can anyone tell me if its possible to create a drop down list using sql in the portal?
Can I create a drop down list of items via sql and then have those same values be used for a discoverer portlet? I am trying to replicate the same concept using parameter values and discoverer worksheets, but through sql. I dont want to have to cut and past lists on the parameter fields. I want to be able to run sql when I post a discoverer worksheet with a parameter and have the values from the sql pass into the worksheet.
Is that possible???

I created a lov but i cannot post it on my portlet. When i go to post a portlet, under the db_link, portlet reposistory it does not show.? Also, how do make the connection to the discoverer worsheets to this lov?

Can i run autocad 3d, 3ds max and autodesk inventor on imac?

Hello you all!
I'm ready to buy an i-Mac for my work, but first I need to be 100% sure that it runs AutoCAD 3d. I would really need Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Inventor as well, but I can live without.
Please let me know if anyone knows, and aslo (as I never had anything to do with mac computers) I'd like to ask if I'll be able to keep updating these softwares whenever needed.
Last, does anyone know specifically what specs should I focus on among operating systems or other things when deciding which i-Mac to buy?

Very simple to find out, look at the system requirements for the apps and then compare to the iMac you are interested in. As far as updating the apps that isn't a question to ask here, you need to contact the developers or even better just visit their website periodically to see if updates for their products are released. If the app's are available from Apple's App Store then updates would be released from teh App Store. If you are not familiar with the App Store please click:

Can't run the webcam with MAX and LV12

Hi,
I would like to configure and run a webcam via Measurement & Automation Explorer and Labview 2012.
I am working in windows 7 Ultimate (64bits).
Labview: 2012 (32bits) V 12.0f3
MAX: V5.3.3f2
Vision Acquisition Software: 2011
I installed Labview 2012 without issue. Then i installed Vision Acquisition Sofware 2011 to have the library neccesary for the webcam. But, before the end of the installation. I got this error screen ( see bellow Windows_Firewall_Might_Be_Enabled.jpeg): WARNING: Windows Firewall Might Be Enabled. So, i tried to turn OFF, turn ON my Windows Firewall. I have still had the same error screen even if I tried to reinstall Vision.
Any ideas about this issue?
Then I ran Measurement & Automation Explorer, go to Devices and Interfaces and NI-IMAQdx Devices. I can see my webcam ( Logitech HD Webcam C270). Double click on it. And i have the first error screen :cwimaq Errors loading control. The default settings for the control will be used. Then this error message: cwimaq Error creating default control. And i have a Unexpected Error (see picture bellow). I tried couple times to restart the computer. But It is still the same issue. So, I really don't know why it is doing that. Any ideas?
And when I run Labview and try to go in propreties of Vision Acquisition Express: Labview displayed : Unable to view properties.So I can't use my webcam with Labview for the moment. Furthermore, I downloaded ni_imaq_usb_installer_86 to get the good library for the usb.

So, I am thinking this is probably my issue. Because I installed Labview 2012 but my VDM is 2011.
Anybody has already installed VDM 2011 on Labview 2012, and it is or not working?
