Can't run Periodic Reposting and Assessment

When I execute periodic reposting and assessment, I get this error:
"System error or customizing error: Read error in set for table ccss"
"Generation of the report terminated"
"Generation of the report AL01200S contains errors "
Can't you point me in the right direction to check the source of this error. Thanks for your help.

Did you check all the groups - cost element / cost center? Because I also received the same error some point of time and missing groups were the cause of error in my case.
Sometimes I have experienced inconsistency in the tables also. Check if this group exists in SETID table (something similar, you can search with SET if SETID dos not exists) via SE16.

  • Periodic reposting-distrribution-assessment

    Hi
can any one explain precisely the difference between periodic reposting-distribution and assessment.
    thanx
    maunami

    Differences between
periodic reposting and distribution are due to information content and
    performance.
For periodic reposting, no separate credit record is written
on the sender for the cost element in the summary report.
    Instead, the totals
record for the cost element is reduced on the debit side, which means
that the original debit amount can no longer be checked there ("unclean
    credit").
    However, during
distribution, the system writes a totals record for the credit ("clean credit").
    The information on the
receiver is the same for periodic reposting and
    distribution ("clean debit").
Compared with periodic reposting, during distribution,
the system also updates the partner in the totals record for the sender.
    This means that the
partner can be displayed in the information system on the totals record
    level.
    As
fewer totals records are written during periodic reposting, performance is better than during distribution.

  • Can u run Airport Express and a wireless modem together?

Can u run Airport Express and a wireless modem together at the same time?
I'm using AE purely for music distribution and have just bought a wireless modem for the internet (not a AE). However I can now only select either the AE network, OR the wireless internet network (it's BT HomeHub). Hence I can either play music or use the internet, but not together!
    Any ideas anyone..??
    Thanx

You should configure your AirPort Express (AX) to join the wireless network provided by the modem. The instructions are in KB 302153, AirPort Express: How to join an existing wireless network in client mode.

First, your Mac model must be able to run Leopard. Second, you would have to partition your hard drive to create a second volume then install Leopard on the new volume using a Leopard installer DVD.

  • Can I run AE CS4 and CS3 on same system? +Ram Q's

I haven't been able to teach my motion graphics course in a year so I am behind on AE doings and the state budget cuts cancelled the purchase of my new laptop SO I only have CS3.  I am scrambling to make this course work!!
Q:  Can I run AE CS3 and CS4 on the same system?  (we have CS4 on some lab machines but some students have only CS3 at home)
Q:  Blimpo AE CS4 says it needs "2Gb RAM" vs CS3's "1Gb RAM for DV" (our application) - will CS4 even install and start w/o 2Gb?  If so, can one at least do simple, straightforward work with 1Gb or is it hopeless?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

If so, can one at least do simple, straightforward work with 1Gb or is it hopeless?
"Simple, straightforward work" is very much a matter of definition. As long as we talking basic title, menu and background design at SD resolutions (PAL/ NTSC) or below (web) without resorting to oversized source files, it might work to a degree. I doubt, however, you will ever be abel to do anything remotely HD. Memory errors and warnings will be a constant companion....

The "RC" version of Parallels is a Release Candidate that while not a release version it is very near.
As the name implies it is a candidate for release to the public. Many larger developers have mutliple versions of their products and will have often 1 through to about 5 release candidates from which they will select one to release as the final product.
    You can find it here…

  • Can you run Boot Camp and Fusion at the same time?

    Hi,
I had boot camp installed on my mac pro and loved it. I decided to get greedy and install Fusion using the boot camp partition. The Fusion install went ok but then Microsoft started to get fussy. Every time I would do something on Fusion it would ask me to "Re-activate Windows" when I logged into boot camp. Maybe if I saw Fusion fully working I wouldn't want to run boot camp any more but I think I want to have the option to run either. Right now I only have 1 gig real memory on my mac pro and Fusion seems a little slow compared to native boot camp. Can I run both boot camp and fusion without having to buy two native copies of Windows XP pro? I don't want a "sensible" answer, I want an answer that takes into account how Microsoft treats this re-activation situation.
I guess Leopard might make this all obsolete, but until then .....
    ... Flash Gordon

You need to make sure to install VMware Tools into your virtual machine (while booted into Windows via Fusion). Once you do this you shouldn't have to continually activate Windows when going back and forth from Boot Camp to Fusion. I've seen this discussed over on the VMware Fusion discussion boards, so you may want to look there for more details.
Also, if Windows starts telling you it's been activated too many times, you can call Microsoft and they'll give you an alternate activation key. The phone number is listed on the Windows error screen. I had to do it and they were very accommodating. I just told them I was running Windows in a virtual machine, and there were almost no questions asked.
You don't need to buy 2 copies of Windows to run both Boot Camp and VMFusion.

  • Can you run Photoshop CS3 and CS5 on the same system?

I did this before on another system where I had both CS2 and CS3 installed and I could run either version when I wanted.  Back then I just never bothered to uninstall CS2.
Now on this system I'm tunning CS3 and I have some plug ins I use regularly that aren't compatible with CS5 and I don't want to lay out the cash again for them.  So I'd like to be able to install CS5 and use it primarily but when I need to use the plug ins then just switch to CS3.
I've noticed many programs these days won't run on top of another version.  So is there any reason I won't be able to run both?

Absolutely.  All versions of Photoshop can coexist simultaneously, though you can only run one at a time.
It's usual not to install the old version until you're sure the new one is working great.  If you have the space, never uninstall it.  It's handy to have it around for answering questions, here for example.

  • Can MBP run both WiFi and Ethernet connections at same time?

I've been running my mid-2012 MBP via USB and WiFi.
I acquired 8-port 10/100Mbp Switch.  Can I run hardware like printers, external HD from MBP via the Ethernet switch and still keep USB connections and WiFi net for other purposes at same time?
(I found USB-ethernet adapters on internet)

Macs and many PCs can keep multiple network connections going. When you look at the list of connections in the Network system preference, the one on top is the primary connection and if you want another network interface to be the primary (like Ethernet) you use Set Service Order to drag it to the top of the list.
But when you do that, I think all services use whatever is primary. What I don't know how to do is make specific applications use specific network interfaces.

  • Can I run a NANO and a 30GB Ipod off the same computer?  If so how?

I just purchased a 30GB for one of my sons. Set up went find and several songs downloaded. We then erased the songs in itunes and set up a NANO that I got for my other son. Now nothing works.

  • Can I run Photoshop CS4 and CS1 on the same Mac?

I've been building pages for a website on my old Mac with Photoshop CS1 then slicing and optimising them in ImageReady before uploading to the site I'm building in Dreamweaver where I put in the body text.
Recently I upgraded to a newer Mac running Snow Leopard and CS4 where I discovered that ImageReady is now considered a thing of the past. I read that Fireworks and Dreamweaver are now the most sophisticated way to go but after a month perservering with fireworks I'm finding it a very clunky, complicated way to operate. I don't like using it and I hate the prospect of starting over to re-build my existing site.
So... will my CS1 version of Photoshop and Imageready run successfully on Snow Leopard and, if so, can I have two versions of one program loaded on my Mac at once? The aim is to be able to use CS1 for Imageready and revert to CS4 for my usual work.
