Can't scroll down in emails - iPad2

Hi, I have an ipad2. It worked fine until the other day. I can no longer scroll down w/in an email message. Nor can I make the reply icon or the compose icon respond or work. Help!

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Or .... Quit the mail app and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

If it's happening on all sites, then assuming that it's Safari that you're using, have you tried clearing it's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (other browsers should have similar options, possibly within the actual app instead of within Settings). You could also try closing the app completely : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app (or whichever browser you're using) to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If it's only happening on a particular site then there may be content on that site that isn't supported on the iPad e.g. flash, java, silverlight

Trouble on the Mailboxes screen - can't scroll down or rearrange

Hello,
When I add more than two email accounts, it becomes necessary to scroll past the list of inboxes to access messages through the "Accounts" section (screenshot: http://twitpic.com/3vm0sw). However, I can't scroll down. When I try, the screen just bounces back up to where it started.
Being able to rearrange the Mailboxes screen (removing individual inboxes or putting the "Accounts" section on top) would help, but I can't find a way to do that, either.
I want to access my email from the "Accounts" section because it appears to be the only way to view emails that are in folders (or gmail labels).
Can anyone help?

When I got my first iPhone a couple years ago, being a smartphone user I thought it would be similar, but it is very different, the iPhone is a very unique device. One that I love and even though there are some "interesting roadblocks' I would not trade it in for any other phone on the market.

In Firefox 3.6 and later versions you can disable the F7 shortcut that toggles caret browsing by setting the pref accessibility.browsewithcaret_shortcut.enabled to false.
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

Turn on AssistiveTouch: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > AssistiveTouch. To set Triple-click Home to turn AssistiveTouch on or off, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-click Home.
Try the triple-click Home button. If necessary, use three fingers to scroll to turn AT off.

We just had our iMac operating system upgraded to version 11. Now we can't scroll down on any site. Help!

Scrolling up is down and scrolling down is up. Settings > Mouse > and change the scrolling direction.

For some reason I can't scroll down in apps on iPad via iTunes

this is KILLING me also..i go to my apps section in itunes in order to add pdf, comics, or pull ringtones or whatever I need to do..the area that you can add files or remove files that apps use. ITS NOT letting me scroll down to it. ONLY 1 TIME did it fix after transfering purchases and backing up..just to make sure it was on the same playing field...but the next time i reconnected, doing that didnt change anything..

If you are referring to VoiceOver, you need to scroll using three fingers.

I can't scroll down the profile page on Facebook app, resetting the phone by pressing down the home and sleep buttons for 15 seconds to reset the phone didn't work, deleting and re-installing the app didn't solve it either, is there any solution to the problem? Thanks!

Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
Restart your iPhone.
Hold down the sleep / wake button until you see the red slider then swipe to power off. Then hold down the sleep / wake button until you see the Apple logo.
I realize you are using the FB app but try deleting cookies.
Tap Settings / Safari.
Clear Cookies
Try again.

I have been talking to Apple support about this very problem. So far they have asked me to disable both Firewall and Anti Virus software (Windows Firewall and ESAT NOD32 anti virus) - this didn't work. Rebuild my library - this didn't work. Un-install all Apple applications and re-install - this didn't work. I have created a second user account on my PC and from that account (both accounts set as Administrator) I can activate Genius. This suggests to me that the problem is possibly linked to my original User Account, which is the one I always use. I am waiting for the next update from Apple and will post an update if/when the problem is resolved.
What I also notice is about 2 seconds in to Step 2 of the Genius activation, the progress diagonal lines bar stops, and then starts again. As soon as I see this short freeze I know that the activation will fail.

Sorted out the problem myself - secret is you have to go to Full Screen view to be able to scroll down. Easy as that - but not so apparent if you are new to this.

Have you tried turning your phone off and on again and seeing if that fixes the problem.
If you still have the problem delete the Facebook app and loaded it back on your phone. This will delete any data associated with the app.
