Can't Scroll To The Bottom Of The Page
I’ve had an issue pop up that I need help with in trying to remedy. I have developed the following page to work on IE 7 & 8, Safari, Chrome, Opera, and Firefox.......

...... it was discussed, critiqued, and developed over several months by an entire team of people who saw several different designs and concepts that I presented to them and it works fine on all browsers, unless you make a menu selection and navigate away from this page, and then go back to this page.
Give it a try, you'll see what I mean. For example, if you scroll over "Commercial Casualty" and selection "Airside Liability" from the list, and then go back, you won't be able to scroll to the bottom of the Commercial Casualty menu. It keeps jumping up and won't allow you to see the bottom of the menu(s), unless you refresh the page.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this so users don't have to refresh the page?

When I bring up Safari on my IPAD2, the web page comes up, but I can't scroll down the page. This just started today. No matter what web site I go to, the content is darker than the navigation pane.
If it's happening on all sites, then assuming that it's Safari that you're using, have you tried clearing it's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (other browsers should have similar options, possibly within the actual app instead of within Settings). You could also try closing the app completely : from the home screen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app (or whichever browser you're using) to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If it's only happening on a particular site then there may be content on that site that isn't supported on the iPad e.g. flash, java, silverlight -

The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet. Are you still using the same wireless router. The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace. For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio. I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc. -

I can't scroll down the profile page on Facebook app, resetting the phone by pressing down the home and sleep buttons for 15 seconds to reset the phone didn't work, deleting and re-installing the app didn't solve it either, is there any solution to the problem? Thanks!
Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
Restart your iPhone.
Hold down the sleep / wake button until you see the red slider then swipe to power off. Then hold down the sleep / wake button until you see the Apple logo.
I realize you are using the FB app but try deleting cookies.
Tap Settings / Safari.
Clear Cookies
Try again. -

This only happens on the home page. The drop down appears as soon as the "Bing Web Search" at the top of the page disappears as one scrolls down the page and remains visible until I scroll all the way back to the top of the home page.Try to use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

I am experiencing difficulty with iPhoto '11. Some of more recent photos can not be accessed. As I scroll down the page of photos, the most recent ones appear briefly, then disappear to be replaced with a box outlined by a broken-line. The menu bar says that I have 317 photos hidden. Hiding photos is not something that I normally do, can't imagine why these are hidden. Anyway, when I try to unhide the photos, I can view them as an event, but if I click on a single photo, or try to move it into an album, the photo does not display. Instead I get a dark exclamation point within a triangle. Another problem with these same photos is on the event page there is no key photo for these events only a dark screen. I can't find an answer to my problem. Has anyone experienced this? What is the problem and how can I correct it?
The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Every time Firefox openedGo to the "File" menu, then "Print." The window that appears will have three drop-down menus at the top.
The first is labeled "Printer",
The second is "Presets".
The third is unlabeled but has "Copies & Pages" selected by default.
Click on that third menu and select "Firefox" near the bottom of the list. -
Text Starts Scrolling down the page when i type
Im a law student and take an extensive amount of notes in class on my laptop. I tried switching from MS word to Pages, but intermittently run into problems that have caused me to stop using pages. Ill be typing, and all of the sudden my notes will start scrolling down the screen rapidly. ill look up a few pages and ill see it inserted a HUGE gap between the first word i typed and the second, usually about a page. My notes instantly turn from ~14 pages to~20+ every time i type an additional letter. I try closing the document, reopening it, no luck. I can then not use that file any longer, and start a new one. One the new one, same thing, after about 1-3 pages of typed notes, it starts scrolling down the page again. any ideas?? i really want to use pages, but can't until it stops this nonsense. thanks in advance
Is this a blank page on which this occurs, or has it been formatted with vertical numbering? I use Pages extensively and have never run into such a thing. It almost seems like a sticky 'return' key. If there is some other formatting, there may be an 'image wrap' occurring that would make it jump beyond the image to the next page.
It's a curious dilemma. -

This is Clearly a Software Issue I have spoken to others who are experiencing the same.
How do we Fix This Bug in Safari?You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Step 1
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot," "Trovi," or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
Step 2
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:

This trojan is distributed on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect much worse to happen in the future.
You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that this Internet criminal has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing, has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return. -

Is there a way to load embedded html as you scroll down the page?
I'm embedding chart.js charts into a muse site and they animate in as soon as they are loaded. What I'd like to do if possible is have each graph animate on as you scroll down the page in a parallax scrolling manner. Is it possible to trigger the code to load not at the same time as the page but instead by using a scrolling effect trigger?

I am using CC adobe Acrobat to combine multiple pdfs and add page numbers. As of about 2 weeks ago the mac users can no longer read the page numbers they get a font error message and see only -- where the page information should be. The pc users do not have this same problem. When I replace our regular font (URW Grotesk) with a system font (Verdana) everyone is able to read the page numbers. This is a new issues, I have been creating these documents in the same way for years without a problem. I have been on hold and on and off calls for the last two hours, I keep getting hung up on once I find someone in adobe support to talk to!
