Can't search single Chinese character in Walkman

I fond that, there is search issue with Walkman app build in Z1 Compact.
When search the title of song with Chinese, I MUST give more than one Chinese character.
I can NOT search songs with single Chinese character, it will find nothing. (without warning or alert)
For example, If there is a song named "深愛".
I can found it by search "深愛", but the song can't be found by search "深" or "愛".
The main problem is:
it makes the songs which name is only one character could never been found.
Could please fix this issue? Thanks.

  • Can you define "single quote" character as a constant

    Hello all,
I want to do something like this:
    CONSTANTS: q type c value ' .   " << thats a single quote character
    DATA: final_string type string,
              VAL1(12) type c,
              VAL2(12) type c.
    concatenate q val1 '-' val2 q into final_string. .
How can I define the single quote character as a constant?
    Thanks

    Hello Ed,
    FAQ.
You can declare single quote as constant
If you are aware for single quote (') SAP uses an escape character which is the single quote itself('). Hence for every single quote you have to add an additional single quote.
    CONSTANTS: q type c value ''''.

  • It can't read the chinese character in the search engine that I write on the Crystal Touch Penpower

I use the Crystal Touch of Penpower to write Chinese into the Google search but it shows nothing in the search box.

    Thanks for the reply Yvan.
I have tried the TextEdit method, using Jedit X, which someone on the Chinese Mac group (see above) suggested. However, using this sort of program is way above my pay grade and I have no idea how to do it!
I am taking you up on your kind offer to look at some of the files, and am sending you 2 files, one an AppleWorks file, and the other an Excel file. I hope you can make more sense of it than I can.

  • Can not search multiple double-byte chatacters

    Hi,
    http://tw.rhino3d.com/4/help2/rhinov4.htm
This WebHelp is generated by the RoboHelp 7, the Search
function can only search single chinese chatacter. It always
returns "No Topic Found" when I search multiple chinese characters.
    Can you help?
    Thanks,
    Kelvin Cheng

    Hi Peter,
    http://tw.rhino3d.com/kelvin/ForChineseTesting.zip
This is the small project for tesing. Please try to search
    "物", "物件" and "物 件" (has a space
    between the two chinese words).
Searcing "物", the result is correct.
    Searching "物件", No Topic Found.
Searching "物 件", you found topics with
    "物" or "件".
Chinese/Korean/Japanese is not like English that always has a
space between two words. Searcing single words doesn't make sense
for Chinese/Korena/Japanese. So the "Full-text-search data" created
by single word is not useful for these asian languages.
    Thanks,
    -Kelvin

  • DSO content can't display Chinese character

    Hello experts,
I extract data from non-sap system (non-unicode) to BW DSO (7.0 unicode).
The DTP, data extraction and the activation all work fine.
However, the content of the DSO can't display the Chinese character.
Is there any setting I miss?
How can it display Chinese character as the data in source system?
    Any information is very appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Make sure Chinese Language Patch applied on BW system. You can see Chinese does not mean Chinese Language Patch applied.
However, even if Language Patch is not applied, you still can see Chinese in reports via Portal.
    Good luck

  • Display chinese character HTML in iPS3sp3

    Hi there,
I am using iPS3sp3 and I modified it so that JSP can display chinese character correctly. But somehow I still can not display the chinese character in normal HTML.For instance, I put chinese character in Ldap.properties file but when user go to the Ldap login screen, the chinese can not be displayed correctly. The following is the modification I have done and can anybody please give me some help?
    adding zh_TW in iwtPlatform-availableLocales
    adding zh_TW in iwtPlatform-locale
    adding BIG5 in iwtPlatform-HTMLcharset
    adding ips.locale=en_US,zh_TW,zh_TW.BIG5 in platform.conf file
    Setting, User's Default Locale: zh_TW
Setting, User's Default HTML charset: BIG5

Finally, I made it work. The solution is pretty straight forward. All I need to do is to convert these kind of html file to utf8 encoded files and then, it works perfectly. Hope this might be useful for some people.

  • Chinese character display problem

    Hi
I can't display normal chinese character in a portlet or even
on a "button" in a portal server 4.0 sp1, is there any config
file I should modified or any suggestion? Thanks a lots

    David,
You should read the WLS I18N documentation. In particular weblogic.xml for
WebApps contains a number of parameters that may be necessary.
    Sincerely,

  • How can I display Chinese Character correctly in JSP

<p>Dear Expert,</p><p>Now I develop web application which using CR report, the development tool is IBM RAD(rational) and the database is DB2 UTF-8. Because need user to input something in JSP, so the programmer use "GB2312" to convert to insert into the database. On the contrary, when the name is a mix of english and chinese characters then this query gives result. Being specific, the english characters should be first.
