did you reinstall iTunes as the article suggested ? try removing iTunes completely (click here and follow the instructions), then reinstall it using the standalone installer from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.
note this will not do anything to your media files, playlists, ratings, etc.
another thing to try is to restore TV to factory settings, re-update it to the latest firmware, then set it up from scratch.

Why I can't see Apple website videos on Samsung tablet? Used many browsers, same result...

I could not find a website issues community and this one was the closest I could find. If this needs to be moved to a different community, please do so.
I realize it's cross platforms, but web browsing should be the same for everyone, no matter what device is used.
I can watch Apple website videos just fine on Windows/Chrome browser (or IE, Firefox) but can't on Samsung Android/Chrome browser (also tried Firefox, Opera, Samsung browser).
Other websites embedded videos are working (i.e. youtube, vimeo, forums etc.) so far it is only the Apple website embedded videos that are not working.
Any idea why?

Hi Markie,
It's not in the top window now, it's in the main section. When you plug your iPod in click on it and at the bottom of the window the Capacity pole changes as it adds stuff.

I can't see apple tv on my computer as one of the devices

I am trying to use the home sharing feature, have confirmed that I am hooked up to the same wifi connection.
I can't see Apple TV as a device when I open up Itunes on my computer.

Apple TV will not show up as a device unless connected to iTunes for a restore. Home-sharing is separate regardless and you access your iTunes library via the computers section on Apple TV (provided your computer is on and running iTunes of course)

When u select Send step, it is by default selected as Asynchronous. U may deselect it and select Synchronous there in the same step (Properties Window on right)

Hai there. i am having a trouble with the garage band apple loops to get into my macbook pro. . i had it some time back and i dont know where it has gone and how it get it back. is there anyone to help me to get the loops back into the browser . i will be grateful to you if some one can help me with it/ thanks.

First check, if you do not accidentally have hidden or filtered your loops:
Uncheck the "Filter for more relevant results" option in the Audio tab of the GarageBand Preferences.
And the drop down menu on top of the Loop Browser should be set to "Loops", not to some Jam Pack or other collection.
If you still don't see any loops, check if you have set your project to a special signature, like 9/8, for that no standard loops do exist.
Then check, if any loops actually are installed in your system Library: Depending on your GarageBand version you should find the standard loops in the Audio folder of your system Library (Application Support > GarageBand):
Your System Drive > Library > Audio > Apple Loops
If the Loops are installed, but GarageBand does not show them, you need to rebuild your Apple Loops Index: See the FAQ for how to do it:
Re-Index GarageBand's Loops
This requires two steps:
erase the old Apple Loops Index by deleting everything in
Your System Drive > Library > Audio > Apple Loops Index
and then rebuilding the Loops Index by dragging the folder containing all of your loops onto the Loop Browser in GarageBand.
If no Loops are installed in your Library, you will have to restore them from your Backup.

Can't see entire audo region?

Hi,
I have made a recording in GB09, and I have 'hidden' or decreased part of it with the audio region length cursos that appears when you place the mouse over the bottom right or bottom left of a region
However, I now want to do the reverse, to see the entire region, but it won't let me! It seems as after you decrease a region's size, it leaves it like that and you have to stick with the smaller region
Why is this? It doesnt make sense

Yoo know how after you record something in GB you get a solid section for the recording, which shows the peakes in input, etc.
If you place your cursor on the top right corner of this section, you can "loop" it towards the right..
Similarly, if you place your cursor just to the right or the left of this section, you can "trim" the section, in order to eliminate unwanted recording parts or blank parts.
What I am saying is that after doing this, it wont let me "undo" this, i.e. it wont let me do the reverse operation, grab the section by the left or right and increase the size to see previously "hidden" recordings.

System can't find apple loops (accidentally pressed Re-index button)

Hi, I installed some new loops lately but because the installation was not successful, when i tried to listen to one of the loops (which was not properly installed) an option came up asking me if i wanted to re-index my loops. I accidentally pressed it, but when system prompted me for my password to continue, i clicked cancelled.
Now, when i next startup Logic Express a window pops up saying There are No Apple Loops installed on your system, please re-install the apple loop package.
What should I do now?
Please help. I am feeling so exasperated

Thanks so much for your prompt response. This is really bizarre.. now when i open Logic Express, I see some loops in there and the msg that appeared earlier (that no loops are found) no longer shows.
I havent done anything since my last post so i do not know why the situation changed on my lapto.
However I do notice some loops are missing.. when i look into HardDisk -> Library --> Apple --> Apple Loops, i noticed my Jam Pack Rhythm Folder is no longer there.. yet, when i play projects which utilize loops from Jam Pack Rhythm, they play ok, which makes me wonder if the folder has simply gone somewhere, or i have to reinstall them.

Can Not Find Apple Loops files that came with Logic 7

I recently reinstalled my system and upgraded to leopard but am still running Logic 7.
My problem is that all of the apple loops that came with the application are no longer accessable for some reason.
I can view all of the loops in the loop browser, but any time I click on one to preview, it comes up with this error message: "Club Dance Beat 038.caf" - what kind of file is this?" It seems like all of the files are .caf.
When I search my system to try and find the loops, I cant find any loops that seem to go with logic. There are apple loops for garage band and soundtrack pro but not logic.
Can anyone help me in accessing my apple loops for logic? Shouldnt these things just come with the application when I install it? That does not seem to be the case here for whatever reason.

Your "problem" is that you now own the Garageband Loops, which are in the new .caf format.
Your version of Logic cannot open these files.
These .caf files were introduced with Logic 8. You would do good to upgrade Logic, if you really need to use those files.

Which Apple TV are you referring to. Only the much older first generation Apple TV will show up as a device in iTunes.

both are connected via ethernet, mac mini has hands off installed
i try to use guest account but can't see from there too

I'm having the same problem, and suspect it is due to the latest update to iTunes (8.1.1[10]). My router sees the ATV, and I can access trailers from the ATV, so it is connected to my local network and to the Internet. I've tried all the suggestions in Apple's Support help file (TS1453), including restarting the computer and resetting the ATV w/o success. I did have iTunes and ATV synced on my old computer, but killing that didn't help. Now I can't see it from the old computer either, and of course all my music and movies are gone from the ATV.

IPad 2 – Airplay can't see Apple TV

I have an iPad 2 running iOS 8.1 and an Apple TV 3 with the latest software and I can't use Airplay to send content to my Apple TV. I know there is no issue with the Apple TV since I can use Airplay to send content to my Apple TV using my iPhone 6, and Macbook, but not using my iPad. Oddly, Airplay will work on my iPad when I connect to my airport express, but not to my Apple TV - Apple TV doesn't appear in the drop down menu yet my airport express does! Hello, I was wondering if you had any update on your issue, because I have the same than you.
It's not in a home environment though, it's at my workplace.
We have a laboratory using approximatively 30 iPad 2 and an Apple TV 3rd Gen and last month our Apple TV glitched and we had to restore it to factory default.
We set it exactly as it was before, everything was working then (iPad 2 were detecting the Apple TV and could mirror, etc.
Now, the iPad 2 (all of them) can't see the Apple TV in the AirPlay menu, but they do detect all the other Airplay-enabled devices on our network.
My personal iPhone 5S see the Apple TV via P2P Airplay, my colleague's iPhone 6 see it too and the Apple TV is definitely working by itself, it access internet and such, so it's not a connectivity issue.
The only thing I can't confirm is whether the Airplay feature is broken for all non P2P-capable devices or just for the iPad 2, because we don't have other models available.

New Computer can't see Apple TV

I have a mac book pro that I had been using to sync to my apple to tv. I recently bought a mac pro and did the migration to it but the new one can't seem to see the TV even though I marked in preferences for it too. Are their any suggestions of things that maybe I did wrong? The laptop can still see it but it is gonna be a pain if I have to keep disconecting the external drive that holds all the media in order for to use it on the laptop for syncing.

I was meaning more in respect of migrating your itunes library. It's not necessary to try to copy over the itunes application itself. Indeed it should already be on a new mac, you may however need to update it to 7.3.1. What you should have done in brief is move your itunes folder (~/user/Music/iTunes) from your old mac to your new one, connect the external HD with your music on, open itunes and ensure that the HD is selected as your music folder location. I'm assuming you have done this.
You will also need to turn of syncing between your old mac and the tv (it will only sync with one itunes library) and register your new one as the primary source (the pass code thing), you could then register your old mac for streaming only if you wished.
Everything should now be working for you. If not where do things start to go wrong for you/how far do you get.
