Can't see Audi tv in quicktime

I'm not able to see Audi tv (www.audi.com) in my mackbook with quicktime.
Need help, please.
Thanks

It's because they use Flash Video and not QuickTime.
Install Flash Player to view them.

  • HT204382 how can i see movies in quicktime?

How can I see movies in Quicktime?

You can try buying an adapter that'll plug into the docking port (where you plug in the sync cable), and it'll have a cord with it thats a three banded 1/8th inch (like a headphone jack but with three black rings on it. On the other end will be RCA cables (the red, white and yellow video cables.)
Plug those into your tv, change your tv to that source and see if you can see the movie.
Works fir my iPod touch, so should for the iPad. And can be cheaper than the apple tv.

I'm having a problem playing quicktime movie with format
vid Meridien compressed. I hear the audio but as for the movie,
it's just white. I've dowloaded codecs
    and put it inside
    Macintosh HD/Library/Quicktime
    AND

If the video codecs you've downloaded are not "Universal" you'll need to launch QuickTime under Rosetta.

  • I can't see video from an AVCHD clip in Quicktime 10.4

When I open up a camera video in AVCHD i can't see any video,  I just hear the Audio.  I'm using Quicktime 10.4 and my OS is Yosemite 10.10.1
I have 16 GIGs of Ram installed in my 3.5GHZ 6 core Intel Xeon E5 Mac Pro
    Am I missing a codec?

    Hello Dr Video,
That is interesting. It may have to do with the camcorder that you are have as it may use a codec when the video is recorded and may need to have that 3rd party codec installed for QuickTime to play it. Take a look at the article below for more information.

  • Can't See QuickTime Movies

On a website I created with Dream Weaver, I can't see the Quicktime movies with Safari, although I can see them with the AOL browser and Firefox. The audio component is fine.
If I fiddle around with the refresh buttons and the site navigation buttons, I can usually get it work, but not always.
    HELP!

Your page code only uses the ancient "embed" tag code and you're file will not display on a Windows machine.
    http://developer.apple.com/internet/ieembedprep.html
That newer page code uses javascript and page code that can be understood by any modern browser and OS.
Sorry I was late in replying. Work.

  • I can´t see QuickTime videos in Firefox, Chrome and Safari

Hi! why I can´t see QuickTime videos in my navigators? I have the application installed in my mac, QuickTime 10.0, what can I do? please! Thanks.

I just posted this same issue just minutes ago, no replies huh?
On Safari, it works fine for me.  But not on Firefox.

  • QuickTime X - can't see recording button anywhere

I'm trying to do a new screen recording but can't see the record button anywhere on my screen, how do I get it to show?  I'm on 10.6.8 and everything is up to date.

There is no such option since the disappearance of Leopard. Reinstalling OS X will not bring back iMovie since it isn't part of OS X and never has been. It's part of iLife which should be available to you through the App Store.
To erase and install properly you need to do the following:
Install OS X Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
    Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.

  • Can't see photos copied over from old mac - any ideas?

I copied my photo library over from my old mac (same method as I used for my iTunes library, which worked) to my new one. I just dragged out the original empty library folder and put the one from the old mac in its place. Non of the photos showed up.
I figured I would deal with it later and have since added photos from my camera. I am now trying to see the older photos but no luck. My photo library, seen from within iPhoto, has albums for the years listed but without the pictures.
I did the rebuild but that didn't change anything. I tried importing them but iPhoto tells my I can't import them since they are already in the library.
Anyone know how to solve this?
    Thanks,
    David

Do you still have a copy of your original library from the old Mac?
    If so try the following:
1 - copy it again to the Pictures folder.
2 - download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, putting your administartive name in the owner and group sections. You can either type in the path to the folder or just drag the folder into that field.
3 - launch iPhoto with the Option key depressed and select that library folder to open.
Now see if the album gets converted correctly. You can move your other iPhoto library folders to the desktop temporarily until you see if this procedure is any more successful.
Also update to 10.4.9 with the COMBO updater and update Quicktime to the latest version, 7.1.5. Of course repair disk permissions afterward with Disk Utility.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • After updating my ipad2 to ios6 my favorite chat room is not working. They can see me but I can't see them.

Before I updated everything worked fine.  This is thru safari on the full version of a website.  Now after I enter my chat room and everyone can see me and what I type but I can't see them.  I was on the phone with apple.  1st call, they had me empty cookies and cache, that didn't work. I did a hard reset? held the off button and the round button.  that didn't work, but I was able to see one persons "hi" post.  2nd call they had me do a reset, thru the general in settings(I was also transferred to a supervisor which makes me think that I am the only one with this problem).  I was able to see 5 people say hi, but still unable to see them after the intial.
I use to see the little pinwheel at the top left hand side next to ipad and the signal strength pinwheel all the time but now I don't see it doing that. While in the chat.
Any ideas.  The supervisor sorta suggested tap-a-talk.  But I didn't want to spend the money if I dont have to and Im not sure it would fix this..
I did notify the website the chat room is thru so they know also, but no answers yet.

    Hi
Have you set the Quicktime settings, goto sys prefs/quicktime/streaming/streaming speed set what you get from your ISP go no higher then 1.5mbps(dont use automatic)
In ichats prefs click on video and change bandwidth limit to NONE.
    Restart iChat.

  • How can I see the bitrate while playing a DVD?

(I posted that also on the DVD Studio Pro page, but there I got an advice that points to a professional and expensive tool - Digigami's 'Mpressionist'. Maybe here someone can help me with a simpler sollution. I will post on both sides potential sollutions.)
So, I have a DVD encoded with variable bitrate, and I want to see the bitrate while playing the movie. In QuickTime I can see only the "global" bitrate, not the one of the actual scene.
    Thanks.

For the moment I got only that:
    - MPressionist, a very nice tool, but very expensive too;
    - MacDVDBitrateParanoia that displays the bitrate of the whole DVD as a graph, but not while the DVD plays, so I can not see the relation between complexity of a scene and the bitrate.

  • I can't see the other party - They can see me.

This is a problem that just developed. I always video chat with my friend, both of us using iChat, but we discovered sometimes his internet connection freezes the video. Recently, all I would get is audio from him - I can't see his video. But he can see and hear me. So I was blaming him for this, because when I video chat with my other friend who is just using a webcam with AIM on her PC, it would work fine.
But then today, my friend just bought a MacBook and I tried iChat video with her and had the same problem as with my other friend - Audio works fine, she can see me, but I can't see her! So now I think it's my problem. I can see myself on my screen, just not the other party.
Any ideas? I don't understand why it works with AIM and not any of my other iChat friends. Or maybe it isn't my problem, but I still don't know what could be going on with theirs. My video works in everything else, too. Heeellllpp

    Hi
First have you both set the Quicktime streaming setting, goto sys prefs/quicktime/streaming/streaming speed, set to 1.5mbps
In ichats prefs click on video and change bandwidth limit to none.
    Restart iChat.

  • I can't see my ipod on the computer.

    Hello,
I know this question has been asked a lot of time, but I can't find a solution.
    Here is my problem :
    > When I connect my iPod Touch (3rd generation), I can't see him, Windows and iTunes. Just in the ISB devices, I can read there is the apple driver. I have "erase" [I'm french.. Sorry.] my iPod, reinstall iTunes after reboot my computer (I know it's not the term, but I don't have a good vocabulary), even reinstall the pilot and udpate it.
So, even after that, I can't see, only the driver..
    Thanks for a reply...

Try this troubleshooting. iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows or iOS : appareil non reconnu par iTunes pour Windows
Removing and reinstalling all Apple related software is also described here: Removing iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista and 7
