Can't see email content until I hit reply. Then is shows up in the reply.

I grabbed some pictures of Mail windows from the web to illustrate. This is a typical 10.6.8 Mail presentation, referred to in later versions as "Classic Layout".
Note that the right portion of the mail window is divided into two sub-panes, and that the divider is a bar with a dot in the middle. It is moveable and has been placed midway down the right pane. The actual message text of the currently-selected message is displayed in the bottom portion of the pane.
    Contrast to this picture:
In this picture the moveable divider has been moved all the way to the bottom, and the top part of the right pane is the only part showing. The divider with the dot is at the lowest part of the pane.
To "fix", drag the divider with the dot and move it upward to create two sub-panes.

  • Can't see email messages in file manager

I've been testing email on my new phone (6682) and now I'd like to delete all the messages in my inbox. nothing shows up in the messages folder in file manager on my PC even though I have about 30 emails on the phone. I can view all other data (images, contacts, etc.)
Additionally, I can't seem to delete the emails directly from my phone. It keeps saying it will keep the headers in memory....and I don't want to keep them. There must be a way. Nokia phone support (believe it or not)could not help me after 45 minutes on the phone. Their solution was to completely reset the phone *#7370#. Please advise if you can.
    -Phone Nokia 6682
    -PC Suite 6.8
    -Windows XP
    Thanks

In all serie-60 phones when you choose to delete the e-mail (and select "Phone") it will delete the content of the e-mail and keep the header of the e-mail until you connect to the e-mail server again. After that it will be erased from the phone.
It is not a phone "feature", it is how e-mails usually works when the are downloaded from a server. The mail is not deleted until you connect to the server next time, because the server need to know if it is going to keep a copy of the mail or not. It is working the same way with an exchange server except that it is going so fast so you can´t "see it"....
The views I present are my OWN and not of any organisation I may belong too.

  • Can not see Email option in Delivery Extension + SSRS + SharePoint Integrated

    Hi,
We are following this url to subscribe email to attach reports,
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb283186(v=sql.105).aspx
while following the steps, I can't see the Email option inside the Delivery Extension. why ??
    Thanks, Parth

    Hi Parth,
The report server e-mail delivery extension is not configured by default. You must use the Reporting Services Configuration Manager to minimally configure the extension. To set advanced properties, you must edit the RSReportServer.config file. If you cannot
configure the report server to use this extension, you can deliver reports to a shared folder instead. For the details about how to configure a report server for E-mail delivery, please see:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159155.aspx
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Why is it that others can't see the email sent from my iCloud account? I've tried both from the phone and Mac. Its sent successfully. And it's even put into my sent box. But none of them receives it. I've tested with different people. What's going on?

  • Can't see email conversion from oe6 to eudora to mac mail

    Help please,
I converted all my oe6 emails and mail boxes into Eudora and then used Eudora Mailbox Cleaner to convert them into Mac Mail.  I rebuilt ALL mailboxes but can only see the address of emails, not the body information.  I followed the information in Eurdora Mailbox Cleaner to the "T" but still have these issues.  Any suggestions?  Note: Some mail boxes are OK, others are not.

Was this Windows to Mac or Mac to Mac.
I did no less then 4  trial runs Eudora to Mail (Mac to Mac.)  All this was in preperation of upgrading to Lion.
Each time I learned  more from these trial runs before I pulled the trigger for real.
Definitely transfer out all inbox mails to "old-inbox" (or some such) before the move.   You can always move them back to the inbox after the migration.

  • Can't see email content

I recently added my Hotmail account to Mail. I now have two accounts in Mail (one is IMAP, the other is Hotmail).
All my emails are showing on the top half of the screen. In other words, I can see my list of emails by the sender names, subject of the email, dates, etc.
However for some of those emails in both accounts, when I click once on them so that I can read the email message content, there is none (when in actual fact, those emails really have a message content). For the other emails, I can read them fine.
This problem didn't happen before I added Hotmail though.
    Help! And thanks in advance.

Update: Things seemed to be working fine now!

  • Can't see email attachments on ipad 2

Hello, I can't see attachments on my ipad 2. In email client is just name of attachment and down arrow. When I click on it, for a few seconds there is a downloading wheel, but it disappears and arrow come back. When I hold finger on it, nothing happend. What should I do with that please?  I have gmail account and I have already tried to shut down and reboot ipad, delete and set up account again. Nothing worked.

Try resetting the iPad. No data is lost. (Oh, and check your security settings. Maybe some kind of function is enabled, that blocks attachments etc.)
Another reason might be your internet provider (cellular provider), if you have just been trying to download the attchments over 3G/4G, although I don't know that. Ckeck with them, if that is the case, and try to download the attchments over WiFi (you better check out multiple WiFi sources, just in case the problem is router-spesific (many routers, mostly public, but also private have certain restrictions on them concerning the amount of data each user can download). I'm really no expert, but that's what I would do...Otherwise, I'm afraid, I don't know. Really sorry about this!

  • Can't see email attachment on iPhone nor iPad, but can on Mac.

I am getting an email with an attachment that comes to my mac, my iphone, & my iPad; but I can only see that it has an attachment on my mac. Others receive the same email on their ipad and they can see the attachment icon. Help.

  • Can't see email messages only the categoires stretched acrosss the page.

Only the categories are shown at the email page. The messages appear to be beyond the edge of the page, not recoverable. This is only happening at [email protected], not any other address.
When I go to the address via Internet Explorer the page is normal.

I have this same problem.  Inbox shows new messages but I can't see them.  I can see messages in Sent, Junk E-Mail, Trash, etc. just not Inbox. I can see the messages on my iPhone and when I go to my server website, just can't see them in Mail on my iMac.
Hopefully we both can get an answer.  This issue just occurred yesterday, 11-02-11.

  • Can't see email message content

I was deleting old emails on my MacBook Air and now I can not see the content of my email message old or new.
What have Idone and how can I correct it please

    Hello,
    this may help:
Stop your Mail application from the menu: "Mail > Quit Mail"
Open the Finder and click: "go > go to folder"
Enter the following into the box, including the ~ (I recommend you simply copy-paste) ~/library/mail/v2/maildata/
Click [go] and in the Finder-window that opens, delete all files starting with the word envelope
Once deleted, restart your OS X via " > Restart"
See this screenshot for visual aid:
When you open your mail next, it will prompt to import mails. Agree with this. Now your mails ought to have their content back.

  • Can't see email folders

I have a hotmail and yahoo account with multiple folders. The only folders I see are my inbox, sent, and trash. How can I see my other folders?

have you tried rebooting your computer?

  • Can't see email body only subject line

Can not view email body on my I pad, only subject line.

Quit the mail app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logou appears and let go of the button.
If that didn't work, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

  • Can only see emails no later than two weeks old! HELP!

Hello there. We use Outlook 2010 and Exchange 2010 and I am having an issue with one user. She called yesterday to tell us that she was looking at her inbox and she noticed that she couldn't see any email after two weeks old. This user uses two different
computers, one at her desk and then one at the front secretary desk where she sits about 2 days a week.
I then checked to see if she had any filters on, even started outlook.exe /cleanviews, /cleanrules, and /safe and still couldn't see past two weeks. I then checked to see if cache mode was checked and it was not on either computer. Checked her deleted
folder and there was nothing in there but then did a restore and there was tons of stuff in there, so I restored it all because she said that it looked like it was the stuff but I don't think it was. Anyways, the restore didn't work and there are still only
two weeks of emails in her inbox. She's one of the few people here that go through all her emails and delete a lot of them and put some in folders that she really needs to keep.
I then checked around the other folders that she has and there were emails from way back, even going back years. Just to make sure, I enabled her OWA access and signed into her account on there and it had the same stuff that her outlook has so I don't think
    it's application related.
I'm wondering if there is anything else that I can check that could be causing this issue. I would be very appreciative for any help that can be offered.
If you have any questions for me please let me know.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
You cannot see the missing emails from OWA, right?
Have you checked if the emails were archived to a psf-file? You can also check the AutoArchive setting by right-clicking on Inbox and selecting Properties, then click
AutoArchive tab. Check if you set the "Clean out items older than" option to "2 weeks".
If so, you can try to open the PST file from File > Open > Open Outlook Data File. By default, the archive PST file is stored under: C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Outlook Files.
    Hope this helps.
