Can't See Facebook "Log In" Button

When using Safri to access Facebook there is not "Log In" button displayed and therefore I can't log in. When I use Chrome everything is normal. I have cleared my cache and rebooted but nothing seems to help. Any thoughts?

Have you tested with safari - Preferences - Extensions set to Off ?

For both WD and flash you have the following connectors: start, end, signal in, signal out, data store and user data.
In WD you have in addition navigate.
In flash you have popup signal and timer.

You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
*Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
*Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
*Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
*Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

HT5500 can't see Facebook events in the Calendar

I choose the option to sync calendar with Facebook events in settings, but I still can't see them in the calendar, and even though I checked the Facebook calendar in the calendar list. what am I missing?

I'm having the same problem. A few notes in case this might jog someone into realizing what's going on.
I removed all the Facebook apps on my phone, disabled all of the facebook integration settings, rebooted it, and started from scratch ... multiple times. Even disabled the other calendar sources I have. (Google and work CalDav.) No luck.
If I go into Settings-->Facebook, turn on Contacts integration, and go back to the Calendar.app I can enable Facebook Birthdays and they come across fine. You would think that the iOS to Facebook authorization is handled in one spot but perhaps that isn't the case.
I've looked up and down the Facebook settings via the web site and the iPhone app. Nothing looks amiss. (See previous comment about authorization.)
I have, for lack of better words, messed around heavily with my iPhone Calendar and Contacts settings. I started with syncing with Google contacts and Googe Cal over the net directly, then moving to CalDAV and CardDAV, for both. At various times I messed with iCloud sync as well and adding the same Google services to my Mac laptop Calendar and Contacts app. Currently, I'm back to Google for CalDav and CardDav over the net on the iPhone and the Mac. Everything works pretty well except some Contact fields don't line up, which usually isn't a problem and, of course, Facebook events no longer show.
Why do I mention all that? Perhaps some of you have tried similar things and we've corrupted one of the internal settings files or plist and put our phones into an unrecoverable state. I can't recall when the Facebook events stopped showing after I messed with things because ...
The events stopped syncing but some of the old ones were around for a bit. They all dissapered once I started trying to fix it but it wasn't like they were all gone one day. When I noticed this problem it was because events I were adding stopped showing up but there were still a few listed. Almost as if the sync stopped kicking in but the events themselves were still cached.
Anyway ... that's probably tl;dr length but hopefully it will jog some brain cells.

Can't see Facebook posts

I suspect somebody dumped something on my system via a FB private message. I've run antivirus and nothing has come up.
When I open Facebook, everything is normal, except I can not see the opening text of any post in my news feed. If it is a picture, I can see it and I can see all the replies underneath, but I can only see the picture and name of the original poster and where their text should be, it is just a blank, white box..
Is the answer going to be to delete Safari and reinstall it?

Facebook for BlackBerry 10 doesn't seem to be set up to see comments posted to your comments. It's an app issue that they need to address.
But you can see comments posted to the original post.
The only work around is to go onto Facebook thru web browser for now.

If the load is terminated with errors, you won't get any rejected records' file
To check what went wrong, you can still go to: *<HYPERION_HOME>\AnalyticIntegrationServices\log\olapisvr.log*
If the load is completed successfully, but with rejections, you can see them in *<HYPERION_HOME>\AnalyticIntegrationServices\LoadInfo\ +<Appropriate text file>*+
If you're using v11, search for loadinfo & log folders under: *<HYPERION_HOME>\products\Essbase\eis\server*

Can't see Facebook contacts in Skype

Hi!
I have recently connected my MSN account to my Skype ID.
After that i also have tried to connect my Facebook to Skype so i could chat with my Facebook contacts from Skype. That had worked for a week or two, but now i cant find out what the problem is, there is none people showing under Facebook contacts
Yes, I have allowed the Skype application on Facebook. I Also have try to remove this and add again.
Yes, I can see my timeline on Skype from Facebook.
But I can NOT see any persons online from Skype contacts under Facebook.

I have the same problem, I cannot connect to anyone in facebook. I keep being told to reconnect to facebook, but with no joy. What is going on as we used to be able to see and connect to them.

Why can i see facebook integration on mountain lion?

If you want to get the recorded action log, you could check it in the attachment in test result. To enable action log, you need to check
Action Log option in test settings.

Firefox 3.6 keeps crashing on opening. Can't open in safe mode, can't see crash logs. HELP please.

Firefox worked fine last night. No changes/downloads but today it keeps crashing when opening. I downloaded new 3.6 version for mac but same problem. Tried to open in safe mode by going to the terminal and typing /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox -safe-mode but nothing happens. Tried to see my crash reports as per the mozilla (/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/submitted) but the folders don't exist.

Can't see partition option or button on Disk Utility

I just bought a 500G backup hard drive for 2 computers. I want to partition it into separate portions for each computer and possibly a third smaller portion for my portable drive.
My problem is that using Disk Utility v10.5.6 running on OS 10.4.9 I cannot anywhere see a button or pulldown menu item that will allow me to create partitions as directed in the Disk Utility help files. I've searched for information in apple.com and can only find articles identical to what I see in my help file. Am I missing something obvious? I know about partitioning, but have never actually done it before.
btw- my external backup drive is "My Book" with Retrospect 6.1 software. However I haven't started up the software to do a backup yet because I wanted to partition the disk first. Any ideas, help, advice?!?!?

Welcome to the forums!
For your first question, does the hard drive appear at all in the left hand pane of Disk Utility? Make sure you select the top level of the hard drive, and not any existing partitions inside it. For example, on my Powerbook, I see the following:
55.9 GB HTS72606M9 ...
Macintosh HD
I have to select the "55.9GB..." level to see the Partition tab, which will appear between "Erase" and "RAID" in the right-hand pane. It sounds like "My Book" will be the equiivalent of "Macintosh HD", so you need to select the level above that.
About forum replies, you can set the preference yourself - go to My Settings in the sidebar to the right, scroll to the bottom, and you should see the default settings - "Always subscribe to topics I create" and "Send subsccription emails immediately". Change these if you like, but as they are, you'll get a new email whenever someone responds (like this one)! But you will have to click the link in the email and go to the site to view the reply.
