Can't see incoming calls while on a call...

While on the phone, if a call comes in, im unable to see it. However it does beep indicating there is an incoming call. Why is that? Please help!!!!!

go to Settings- General- Reset- Reset Network Settings it will reboot the phone and it should be working from there. I have an iPhone 4s with Verizon and that did the trick.

I went through the steps as suggested.

How can I see the bitrate while playing a DVD?

(I posted that also on the DVD Studio Pro page, but there I got an advice that points to a professional and expensive tool - Digigami's 'Mpressionist'. Maybe here someone can help me with a simpler sollution. I will post on both sides potential sollutions.)
So, I have a DVD encoded with variable bitrate, and I want to see the bitrate while playing the movie. In QuickTime I can see only the "global" bitrate, not the one of the actual scene.

For the moment I got only that:
- MPressionist, a very nice tool, but very expensive too;
- MacDVDBitrateParanoia that displays the bitrate of the whole DVD as a graph, but not while the DVD plays, so I can not see the relation between complexity of a scene and the bitrate.

Can't see external HDD while wanting to restore

I just had to restore my Mac, and luckily I backed up to a Ex HDD with Time Machine, but now I'm trying to restore it I've had nothing but problems.
Cmd+R gives me: No full system backups
Migration Assistant: Can't see drive
Setup: Can't see drive
I've run multiple repairs on it, and even mounted it to the network on another computer, but it still didn't come up.
I'm getting really frustrated, please help =/

Seeing SMS text while making video call

I am working on Mac, trying to take language lessons. My instructor likes to type corrections to my grammar or noun usage as we go along in a conversation, but I can only see one line until the conversation is over. Is there a way to enlarge the SMS window so I can see our conversation as we go along? Thanks!!

Message not showing full conversation and can't see incoming messages

I just started having a problem with "Messages" on my iPod Touch 4G. When I click to see a conversation, I have to scroll way down to see it...but can only see part of it. And all conversations are the same, so I have lost conversations with others as they have been replaced by this one particular conversation.
In addition, I get the pop-up when a new message has come in, but when I go into "Messages" to read the full thing, it's not there. Any ideas?

If you did an OS reinstall did the problem Go away ?
If so what is the issue as nothing you do now is going to change things ?

Macbook CAN'T see wireless network while others can

Hey,
I've searched everywhere and can't find the answer. I have a macbook and am visiting Norway from the US. I am in an office with several people and they can all "see" the wireless network but I cannot. BUT I can see several other networks from neighboring offices. I can connect just fine to the wireless connection at my hotel. Also I have no problem "seeing" and signing on to the office's wireless using my iphone, but as I said my macbook doesn't even see it. I tried "other" and typed in the name and password (several times) but to no advail.
Any suggestions o wise ones?

I do this at home for enhanced security.
Unfortunately it does not add any security. The network name is still broadcast between any connected clients and the base station. Therefore the network name is easily discovered in just a few seconds.

PC can't see Airtunes Speakers, While Mac Can

Hello,
My Windows XP Professional PC is connected to the same wireless network as my PowerBook G4, with an Airport Express set to join the wireless network to share printer and play iTunes music.
The Mac can print and see the Airtunes speakers in iTunes fine, but the Windows machine can print, see iTunes shared music, but not see the Airtunes speakers!
My "look for Airtunes speakers" option is turned on, I've reset the Airport Express several times, uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, and am now at a loss.
Anyone willing/able to help?

Make sure the firewall built into Windows XP is turned off, make sure any firewall or "internet protection" software you installed on the PC is disabled or uninstalled, and make sure any VPN client software installed on this Mac doesn't also have a built in firewall enabled.

Can't see incoming messages

A funny thing happened on the way to a system reinstall. iChat quit working.
At first, I would get a buddy list, but double-clicking on a name brought up a window with no name in the title, and sending a message didn't.
Ah-ha, I thought, let's re-install iChat, so I launched the optional installs from the Leopard disk, and still no joy. I know that my outgoings are being received, but I'm not seeing the chat window, and I am not seeing incoming.
Strange. I've searched here but no similar issue. Anyone have ideas?

i have the iphone 4 from sprint and i was wondering how do you end one call while in a conference call ? after i merge the two calls together how do i end one call with out having to end all calls at once ? PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!

In my outgoing calls list I can see phone number and person's name (taken from contacts), but in incoming one there is only phone numbers
Is there any option to turn on showing contact name?

do your contacts use phone number only or also name and surname labels? you can had as many info to any number as you like - from nickname to email or even adress, within that contact editing menu...
the other reason of incoming number not appearing may be that the caller wants to be anomymous and blocks his ID cell info and usualy appearing as "unknown" on your screen.

I had PCSuite (latest version off the web-update features) installed, I decided to click on the OVI Suite installation ...
I DL and Installed just fine, after useing the OVI suite and getting used to it i find that I am missing the "online" freatures, like incoming SMS and specially incoming calls are not shown any more.
I have E66 connected via USB in PCsuite mode, and compared to the PCSuite I could right away, before the phone even rang, see a pop-up on the screen, telling me that a incoming call is there.
I liked that feature, as you could click SMS, hangup etc .
How do I get the same feature in the "new" OVI suite ??

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).
