Can't see iTunes toolbar

Hi, I have been searching around and have not seen this problem. I am unable to activate the toolbar for Itunes 10 (latest version), running Win 7 x64.
I have already disabled "Show Itunes in system tray" and "Minimize window to tray," so that is not the issue.
When I right-click on the taskbar, there is an option to show iTunes toolbar, but when I try to select it, nothing happens. (And when a toolbar is visible, it is supposed to put a checkmark, but I can't seem to get the checkmark to appear).
Does anyone have any words of wisdom? Thx... pulse4J

Im having the same issue , and all i can find is people who havn't disabled the minimize to system tray . i wish i couLd find an answer . because this is the first time this has happened to me , i don't know why iTunes isn't one of my toolbars anymore ?

I can't see itunes store on my imac - wondering if it has to do with apple tv?

for some reason after updating to newest version of itunes I can't see the itunes store on my computer. It is still available on my iphone and apple tv. What's the problem?

Can not see itunes Match songs in iPhone IOS 6

After upgrade to ios 6 I can not see my songs in iphone .
I have a subscription of ITUNES Match and recenctly could download song to a new MAC.
But iphone did not see any song.
I have tried turn itunes match option ON AND OFF but even with this procedure I still can not listen songs in Iphone.
any suggestion ?

ATV2 can't see iTunes shared library

I have spent hours reading forums and trying many different settings and am about to return my AppleTV. I have tons of movies converted for viewing on the AppleTV but I feel I have wasted to many hours of my life and am about to give up.
Here is my setup:
Dell XPS Desktop connected to router by ethernet, Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop connected via WAN - both running latest version of iTunes (10.2.1) Both running Windows 7 Professional (32 bit)
AppleTV2 (connected wireless - current firmware)
iPod Touch (3rd generation - current iOS)
Home Sharing enabled on all devices with the same user/password
D-Link DIR-655 router
McAfee Security-as-a-Service Firewall/Anti-Virus
Right now, I have been only working on my desktop PC - I figure if I get that going, I can do the same to my laptop to get it going as well...
I have opened up the recommened ports on my software firewall.
I've briefly opened the ports on my router. (closed them again as I don't want those ports open to the 'world')
I've checked that iTunes is allowed to access internet through firewall
I completely uninstalled McAfee and tried with windows firewall turned off.
I have reset my router to factory conditions with minimal user settings
I have reinstalled iTunes
I have reinstalled Bonjour service...
Can't think of anything else to try
My iPod is able to communicate with the ATV2. I can 'stream' from iPod to ATV2 no problem. However, I keep the movies on my desktop and want that to be the main media source. Also - on the 2 PC's, I haven't ever seen the other's Shared Library in iTunes. If I turn off iTunes and reload, I can briefly see my library on the ATV2 and iPod... but only for a minute or 2 and then it disappears. Does anybody see any glaring thing I have forgotten? I'm at my wit's end... please help!!!

I too have not been getting any sleep because of this. The main reason why I bought ATV2 is because everyone told me it's plug and play, always works. That is bull !!! I hope you can help me out, and that I can get some decent sleep for once, long hours troubleshooting this !!!
Turned Home Sharing On and Off many times on both ends
Hardwired both HTPC (running iTunes) & ATV2 to my router
Router is a DLINK DIR-615
Added IP for ATV2 to DMZ in router for unresticted access
Tried Home Sharing with and without DONE button pressed
Have latest iTunes 10.x
Tried enabling/disabling "Share Library on Network" under Preferences
Only 2 things left to try:
Open the recommended ports 3689 (TCP) & 5353 (UDP) in XP on my HTPC (running iTunes)
Replace my D-Lilnk router with another model
I really hope someone out there can help me out. I was hoping this would be plug&play easy

Can't see iTunes files after using usb drive for time machine

I have a usb 1TB drive with my iTunes files on it from my old MacBook, I now have a MacBook Pro OSx 10.9.4 and I set it to be used for TimeMachine. I no longer can see my folders/files. Why and how do I get access to them again? I know they are there just can't get to them.

Never mind found out that files were never there.

Can't see itunes library or pictures

Hi,
I can't seem to access my itunes content or pictures. I have home sharing on and I'm able to see both my computers under the "computers" section. If I click on either one, it says it's loading the library, which takes about 30 seconds then it just goes back to the main screen. Home sharing works fine computer to computer, so I don't think it's a problem with my router/firewall.

I have had exactly the same issue. I spent an hour on the phone to Apple technical who did not manage to resolve the issue I took the unit back to the store and they swapped it for a new one. It's no different. I'm truly fed up now and will probably just take it back and get a refund. I find this disappointing as Apple stuff usually works first time.
Sorry, I can't help, but will watch your post with interest. I also note there are other posts on here for this same matter. It would appear that there is not much help to be had at the moment.

2nd home computer can't see itunes library on network server drive

Ripped CD library and streaming Airplay successfully to home system. Moved itunes library to network drive which is a Seagate BackupPlus connected to ASUS ac-68u router with USB 3.0. Have Apple Media server turned on for the asus router. Used iTunes Edit/Preferences/Advanced to change library location, Checked both “keep itunes media folder organized” and “copy music to itunes media folder when adding to library”. Turned on home sharing, used same apple id on both computers. Original computer (Win8.1) I ripped to can see and use the library fine, but the other one (Win 7 hardwired to router) shows only the 4 sample songs. Probably not permissions because I can use Windows Explorer to look at the cd titles in the Music folder. Aloha, Mike

I may have misunderstood, but the iTunes folder will only be there if you have copied it from your old computer to the iPod first. If you no longer have the old computer see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device,

Error in App Store updates (can't see iTunes 11.1.4)

Hi,
I can't get the latest iTunes update. My work iMac (2010) had no problem with this.
My home iMac (late 2012), tells me iTunes has an update when I do 'Check for Updates' in iTunes. But, when it brings up the App Store, it's not there.
Also, I see this error once in a while: The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.)
Any ideas?

Firefox 4 hangs at loading so I can't see the toolbar to fix it. I just downloaded it.

Firefox 4 hangs BEFORE getting the toolbar and I can't get in to change settings such as system restore settings and the other solutions you have in the help section. ALSO, your help section only shows 3.6 and earlier solutions which really bugs me. If you're going to come out with new version PLEASE put out the solutions for it.

Sorry, but I don't. Have never used a TV as a monitor. My suggestion was just a thought. Perhaps someone else will have a workable solution.
If the menubar is visible then it may be some adjustment that's needed perhaps on the TV itself which has it's own zoom. If it's set to an incorrect screen mode then it may cut off portions of the display - just a guess. Try switching the display mode on the TV to see if that resolves the problem.
As for the mini itself I'd set it to a resolution mode that most closely corresponds to what the TV can display. If it can display 1080p, then set the mini's display resolution to 1680 x 1050.

I can't see Itunes festivals

Can't see itunes store in windows 7

When I launch iTunes I can see my music but nothing in the store. Every time I do try to access the store my pc jumps up to 100% CPU utilization and freezes. I did not have this problem prior to installing the latest version of iTunes. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Try this,
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
