Can't see MFP printer attached to AE (in Bridge mode)

Can't see MFP printer attached via ethernet cable to 2nd AE (in Bridge mode extending wireless network) on local wifi network.
Printer is set to static IP adress (192.168.0.50).
Upstream Router is: 192.168.0.1 (this is connected to first AE).
When the printer was previously attached (by ethernet cable) to 1st AE, everything was working fine and I could login to printer Admin page via Safari by typing IP Address. I have since moved the printer to the back of the house and leaving all previous settings, the printer is not visiable on the wifi network.
Normal process to setup is:
System Prefs > Print & Fax > Add > IP > 192.168.0.50 (currently just hangs not seeing the printer).
Normally the printer name appears and the correct driver is shown at the bottom as Use: Ricoh 2020D Driver

Have you verified that the Ethernet port is functioning correctly by temporarily connecting a laptop, turning off the wireless, and connecting using an Ethernet cable to see if the laptop can get a good Internet connection that way?
The all-in-one device should also be reset back to factory default settings, then reconfigured again with a new static IP address. In other words, start all over again on the printer including a complete power cycle of the main and extending AirPort devices..

  • Can't see the printer queue

    Hi,
I can't see the printer queue in Snow Leopard.
Either if I go to the Printer & Fax setting in the System Settings and try to open the printer queue it doesn't open.

I have the same problem and I'd like to attach my issue to this thread.
I use a Brother HL5250DN printer connected via USB cable to an Airport Express base station. The model is supported by 10.6, drivers are installed and the printer appears properly on all the lists. I can print on it, I can set all the options, but I have no access to the queue whatsoever. I can print without problems, I just can't access the queue.
It doesn't appear in the Dock during printing.
Pressing the button in the Printer & Fax preferences window produces no result, error or feedback of any kind.
What's wrong? I tried reinstalling the drivers and the entire system, but without "Archive & Install" option I can't do much to ensure there are no left-overs from 10.5. Does anyone know a solution?
    Thanks in advance.

  • There are hidden pages in the PDF form I have.  How can I see and print all without clicking on the

I have hidden pages in the PDF form I'm using (but didn't create).  How can I see and print all the pages at once without clicking on the "next page" button.  In the initial view, there are four pages, but if I click the "next page" button, there are a total of 12 pages in this document.  This is three budget years, each year being 4 pages long.

You're most likely dealing with a dynamic XFA form created in LiveCycle Designer. You can open it, click the button, and save it, and it will most likely be 12 pages when next opened, but it depends on how the form is set up. The ability to make edits to an XFA form in Acrobat is very limited, especially for dynamic forms, so things like flattening aren't possible.
If it's not an XFA form, you'd still need to click the button at least once and save. To say for sure what's possible, I'd need to see the document. Can you post it somewhere?

  • OS X 10.8.3-Safari 6.0.4 Can't see or print Chase bank statements

Everything has worked just fine prior to installing the latest version of Adobe Reader. I could log on to my Chase credi tcard account, view and print from Safari anything I wanted. Subsequent to the Reader installation I can't see or print the statements. Printing other stuff hasn't been effected as far as I can tell.

Disable the Adobe Reader PDF plug-in.
    See here: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/display-pdf-browser-acrobat-xi.html
If you want to use Adobe's plug-in, make sure you open Adobe Reader and accept the license agreements, if you haven't already.

  • I have my printer email address, but I can not see my printer listed when I login to hpeprint.com

I have my printer email address, but I can not see my printer listed when I login to hpeprint.com

I will need some more information in order to assist. What model of printer do you have? Different printers have different features such as the ability to display the printer's ePrint address on the front panel of the printer. The website that the printer can be viewed at is eprintcenter.com. Click on this link here to see the sign in page. Have you signed up and register the printer at this site? Is the email address for the printer one that you have customized? Or is one consisting of what appears to be random letters and numbers?

You need to update the printer's firmware to 2.0.
    Go to http://www.canon.ie/Support/Consumer_Products/products/Fax__Multifunctionals/Ink Jet/PIXMA_MG_series/PIXMA_MG6250.aspx?type=download&page=1

How  can I see the previews of my D610 in bridge cs5 and how can I open them in my CC photoshop?

Nah. Raw support is version specific and that extends to Bridge as well. Older versions simply won't handle new cameras. If this is important to you, you will have to use Bridge CC.

  • I can't see hard drive attached to Airport extreme from Windows XP computer

I have a Windows XP computer on my network. I can no longer see the network hard drive attached to Airport Extreme from the XP computer. I can see it with all the MACs on my network and all the Windows 7 computers. I can connect to the internet with the Windows XP computer. I previously had no problem seeing the network hard drive attached to the airport extreme from the XP computer and one day it just disappeared. I have deleted and reinstalled Bonjour, not just Bonjour print services. I can print to a network printer that is not attached to the Airport Extreme. Help!

Well, I'm stumped. I spent an hour on the phone with Apple support-- they ran through the scenarios I had already been through, and they came up with nothing useful. I ended up taking a second 160gb HD that was formatted NTFS, and formatted if for HFS+. This drive was visible through Finder. I took the same drive, formatted it for FAT32 and, surprise, surprise, NOTHING VISIBLE.
The "just works" philosophy is OK, but it's bunk when it comes to network drive support. I'm doubting the wisdom of this purchase now.
$2500 for a computer that can't connect to a network drive that can be seen by an $500 Dell laptop?
The issue simply seems to be this: put a FAT32 drive on another box, and it can be shared by Macs and Windows boxes.
Put that same FAT32 box on an AirPort Express, and my Mac is BLIND. It can't see the drive.

  • Can't see network drive attached to AirPort

    Hi All
I'm a newbie Mac user (just got my MacBook Pro last Thursday, in fact-- OS X 10.5.7). While I've got most of my issues doped out, I'm running into a problem connecting to a network drive that's plugged directly into my AirPort Extreme. I have three Windows systems (running XP and Vista) that can attach to the drive with no problem, but I can't figure out how to mount the drive under OS X.
If I use the Finder and select the router under "Shared", the Finder just spins with the message "Connecting..." for ages until it times out.
If I try to attach to a server, that doesn't work-- I've tried all the protocols in various flavors. Everything times out. I do get the message that the server or password is incorrect, but I never see a prompt for a password, so I am not sure what's going on there.
In short, I'm stumped. When I open up the AirPort utility, and view the disk, the drive is attached-- it has a name, and it gives the correct statistics on used/free space. When I go to File Sharing, the checkbox for Enable File Sharing is clicked.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!
    -Ed

  • Can't see USB disk attached to other mac

I have an Airport Express, on the network is a Mac Mini which has an USB disk attached to it (to the Mac Mini).
However, I can't see the disk from any other mac that uses the Airport (this used to work)
I've looked for "disk sharing" in Preferences and in the Airport Setup Utility, but couldn't find anything.
I've also made the Sharing & Permissions of the USB disk for "Me" and "Everyone" as " Read & Write"
Any idea how I can resolve this issue?
    Thanks,
    Awfers

Ok, thanks for clarifying. You don't need to change any settings within the AirPort Utility, but let's double-check your Mac Mini's settings to make sure that it is both sharing the disk properly and that it's OS X firewall is not blocking the requests.
For File Sharing: System Preferences > Sharing > File Sharing
o Make sure that the folders on your external hard drive, that you want shared, are selected in the Shared Folders window.
o Make sure that you have, at least, Everyone = Read Only set in the Users window.
o Select Options..., and then, verify that you have "Share files and folders using AFP" is enabled for Mac clients, and "Share files and folders using SMB" is enabled for Windows clients.
For the OS X Firewall: System Preferences > Security > Firewall
o If "Allow all incoming connections" is enabled, verify that: "File Sharing (AFP, SMB)" is now displayed in the list.

You cannot revert back to iCloud after enabling iCloud Drive on your MacBook Air.  If you want to be able to access your documents on all your Macs you'll have to upgrade the others to Yosemite and enable iCloud Drive on them too.

  • Can't see shared printer with IOS 6 on ipad 3rd generation

I just upgraded my 3rd generation ipad to iOS 6.0 and now it won’t see the shared printers at my office. The printers are shared on a Mac mini server running OS X Server Lion 10.7.4. I can still see the shared printers and can print to them from a 3rd generation ipad with iOS 5.1.1.
Does anyone know what apple changed with iOS 6.0 that makes it where the shared printers aren’t showing up and what I might need to do to get them back working on my ipad with iOS 6.0?
    Thanks -

iOS printing to a non-AirPrint printer is not supported. There's more information here: AirPrint 101
If you had iOS printing working through yout OS X Server then you must have had another piece of software running in the server emulating AirPrint. That software isn't compatible with iOS 6.

  • Replace old router with WRT110 and now I can not see shared printer on network

Replaced a BEFW11S4 with a WRT110. Now I can not see a shared printer on the network any more. I have not changed anything on the computer that has the printer shared. I can see the internet on all the computers, but not the shared printer. can you help?

First which you need to check, is your printer is working Offline on your computer. In this case you need to Re-map your Printer on your Computers back again. First check if you have any Firewall or Antivurs Installed on your computer try to disable it and check if you are able to print from your computer. If not then try to Remap the printer on your computer.
Go to Network connections window and if you are able to see your computer name on which the printer is installed, then right click on the Printer and click on "Connect" or "MAP" once done you will be able to print from your computer.
Note down the IP address of the Computer on which you have Installed the Printer. (Click on Start - Run - CMD and click Ok, now in the command prompt type "ipconfig" and note down the Ip address, Then go to your other computer and Click on Start - Run - CMD and click Ok and now in the Command prompt type "ping (IP address of your main computer) and hit enter and check if you are getting any replies. If yes, then again click on "Start - Run - type ( \\ip address of your main computer) and click Ok, and now you will be able to see your printer name then right click on it and click on "Connect" or Map, once done, now check if you are able to print from your computer.

  • Can't see wireless printer on network

I have a MacBook Pro using Snow Leopard.  I have a Brother HL-2270DL wireless printer.  I CAN see and use the printer when I first turn on the computer or printer.  However, when I try to use printer later, the system seems to be "asleep."  The only way I have been able to wake it up is to close my laptop for 5 seconds, open it, and then it finds the printer and commences the printing job.  Needless to say, that's an inferior solution.  How can I make the computer see the printer every time?

Perhaps the router or whatever the printer is connected to needs a wake up.
