Can't see multiclip angles in viewer

Hello
I created a multiclip, as I have done numerous times in the past. However, this time, when I drag the clip to the timeline, the angles don't appear in the Angle Viewer. I just get black slugs. The multiclip plays and I can cut between angles, but there is no visual represnetation of the video in the Angle Viewer. This is not related to rendering, as I have just created the clip in the timeline.

Thanks for your insight.
I shoot with JVC 700 cameras. QT movie files are captured on SDHC cards. I drag the files to my hard disk and then import into FCPx. I check the optimize and proxy options, so the only conversion possible is being done by FCPx. I tried making multiclip with both the proxy and original media with the same results.
Funny thing is, I've been doing this since FCPx came out and this is the first time anything like this happened.

Why can I see photos in photo view, but now event view?

Why can I see photos in photo view, but not in event view. The event shows up, but when I open the event, it says there are no photos in the event. The only way I can actually open a photo in the event is to be in photo view, and open the photo from that view.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Help-can't see (canvas) item in viewer

Hi
I'm trying to position an 8 point garbage matte by use of the canvas, but can't see the positions because I can't see the item in the viewer while I am on the controls page in the canvas
please excude dumb qstn, what am I doing wrong, how can i get it to show in viewer?

Not sure to understand your question, but you can "tear" the filter tab from viewer window and position it anywhere on your screen. Be sure to double-clic the clip with the garbage matte applied to open it in viewer before tearing the filter tab.
There also a local menu in this filter that allows to "see" either your garbage matte, source material, composition in the canvas.

Can't see audio wave in viewer after FCP5 project updated into FCP2

After updating my project from old FCP 5 version running on Tiger to FCP2 running on Leopard, I can't see the audio wave picture inthe viewer window. Is there an explanation for this?

You can try clearing the waveform cache in your project folder. Press Shift Q to open the System Preferences window. Look for the location that is set as your Waveform Cache location, then use the Finder to navigate to that folder. Remove the cache files from there, and then try relaunching your project to see if that solves your issue.

I can't see my clip in viewer

Can you help please?
I'm using Speedgrade CC
Windows 7, Service Pack 1 64 Bit
8 Gb Ram
Intel HD Graphics 3000 Card
I can't see my clip in the viewer, although I think that there may be a tiny represetation of it in the bottom left hand corner of the view. (Resizing doesn't help)
Can any of you boffins shed a bit of light please?

Thank you guys but unfortunately neither of those fixes worked. Having done some more research I can see that others have had an identical problem. However, it looks like those with my graphics card didn't manage to find a solution. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4488205
Ho hum. I really don't want to have to buy a new PC but I guess that may be the only options, as it's not possible to upgrade the graphics card on my laptop.
Really appreciate your efforts though.

Viewing Properties - Character Section - Can't see right arrow to view all fonts

I am using Captivate 6. I have the properties window open, and would like to change the font. I can not see the arrow on the right of the field. It is cut off with the scroll bar.

It seems that Properties pane has been dragged towards the right, you can manually drag it towards left.
Also, You can either reset the present workspace or select any other workspace type - like navigation or widget and then try.
Please try this.

Can't see data in Preview View

Where is the technical support for Crystal Reports? I have just been through one of the worst technical supports circles in my entire career - this phone# to that phone# and only to be told you cannot talk to a Tech Support person. My dilema for anyone that can help - I am using Crystal Report 2008. I have mapped to a database in MS Access 2002. I copied the database to my desktop and created a test report. I can see the fields in the Field Explorer. I have dragged the fields onto the report and they are visible in Design View. I can see the data in the fields when I browse the fields. In the Preview View I do not see any data what-so-ever. I have not changed any defaults and have not suppressed or hidden information. The $1M question: Why can't I see the data on my report? I never had the problem when I used Crystal Reports v8.

The supported platforms document for CR2008 (R3) states that Access 2003 and above are supported but you should still be able to see data.
What happens if you go to the last page of your report (or scroll through the pages)? Do you still see no data? (I'm thinking maybe some null values in your data may be the reason for nothing showing on the first page.)
Connecting natively or ODBC?
Still have your sample data (xtreme.mdb) from CR8? See if you can hit that successfully.

Calendar - Week view now only 5 days - how can you see a 7 day view again?

I like using the Week view in the Calendar, since upgrading to the latest OS a few days ago I can now only see 5 days in the Week view rather than the full 7 days I previously had. Can I change the settings so I can see the full week again?

In the Calendar app swipe from the top, choose Settings > General > and set Week View to full week. That should bring back the two missing days.

I can not see data in data viewer

Hi,
I use OWB 10g Relase 2. I have one table and I imported table metadata to OWB. I load data to table with pl/sql script, Now I do not see data in this table in data viewer. I see data in SQL*PLUS
I tried deploy table and run script to load again. Same problem.
I run mapping from this table. But target object is empty as well.

i have oracle 9i v 9.2.0.1
When I right-click one of the demo cubes and choose "OLAP Viewer" I get a
couple of message boxes. One is an OLAP Viewer splash screen. It says
"Connecting to OLAP Service" then "Reading Cube Meta Data". Then I get an
empty alert box. When I close it I get a message saying "Instance-20016 DB
authentication failed. Cause: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12500: TNS-Listener
failed to start a dedicated server process".
please check verify the username,password and service are correct
Following that the Enterprise Manager Console hangs.

This is because 9.2.0.1 is not a supported configuration for using OLAP. You must apply at least the 9.2.0.4 patchset but I would recommend 9.2.0.7. Please make sure you install the patchset correctly by running the post-installation script as well.
The patchset can be downloaded from Metalink.

The 3.5 versions didn't have a Full Screen button, wasn't added until Firefox 3.6.

I can't see the Home Pages view when syncing my IPad Air with iTunes

I have transferred about 80 apps from my previous ipad2 by syncing the new iPad Air in iTunes (using the USB connection). The Home Screens view in the Apps tab of iTunes does not show the individual pages, so I cannot regroup my Apps into logical groups.
There is a momentary flash on the screen showing what looks like a Home page, then it vanishes to show a blank view.
Both the iPad Air (64GB, wifi & cellular) and my copy of iTunes are up-to-date.

Interestingly this seems to have sorted itself.
When I was trying it yesterday, it was my first syncing of the new iPad Air, and the Home Pages were not visible in iTunes.
Today I reconnected and carried out an automated backup, then when I selected the Apps tab - there were all the Home Pages.
Not sure why this should happen, but - problem solved!

Can't See Fields or Views with Oracle Connection

We have a report that connected to Oracle. Previously, we were able to see the tables and views and connected some of them in our report. However, now we can't see those tables or views. We can see the fields under them but not the tables or views they belong to. Is there anything we can change to fix this?

please check in Options --> Database Tab --> Tables,Views,Stored procedures are checked .
If you are using Odbc connection some times it may happen. Try with oledb connection
