Can't see my ipad apps in itunes

I've got my iPad connected to ITunes (new version 11.3.0.54) and I can't see any of the apps that are on my iPad listed. It states at the top of the page that there are 117 apps and show's my iPad screen pages on the right hand side of the page but under the apps list on the left hand side there is nothing.
Any suggestions on how I can fix this or what the problem might be?

I searched for an answer, and tried (needlessly) upgrading to iTunes 12.0.1.26 Still no change.
(I have an iPad and Mac OSX Mavericks)
I figured out one way:
With iTunes open, under the Store menu at the top, "Authorize This Computer" entering your Apple ID.
It automatically download app copies onto my Mac iTunes, and populated the apps list.
Disadvantage (one I've found so far): More gigs of Mac hard disk space used.
Advantage: (the reason I cared about having the apps list):
Ability to test out an app update on iPad, and then downgrade back to the previous version! News to me, that this was possible. It worked.
After reading bad reviews of an updated app with an "all new look and feel" I was concerned I might hate it too, but I was curious to check it out...
Following this, I could try out an app, then downgrade back to the version I preferred:

Yes I am looking in the app store. When I look in Itunes on my computer and look at purchased apps it is there. And when I go on my other device and look at apps purchased all apps are there.
The new ipad doesn't show any apps purchased when I click on apps purchased and when I search the app store it doesn't show it is purchased. There are a couple of ways that you can download your apps to iTunes on your computer.
First, you can transfer your purchases to from your iPhone to your computer using the steps in this article:

I can't see the Ipad apps to organize in itunes

So, I can download my ipad apps to the ipad fine. However, on the apps page once connected to itunes it is blank?

To be more clear and specific. I plug in my usb cable to my desktop and find the Ipad device listed in Itunes. I click on that device and see the summary page. Two tabs over is the Apps tab. The left hand side shows all my apps (whether Iphone or Ipad apps I have purchased on this computer). However the right hand column, which typically shows how to organize your apps is blank. HELP!

I was restoring my ipad then I accidently closed the itunes by Task Manager and now I can't see my ipad in itunes or any similar program but when I plug my ipad to the PC I can hear the alert means it's plugged , and I can see it in Device Manager , and I can't put it in DFU mode or anything else because I have no screen or home&power button.

Yes. Reinstall iTunes. If that is the point at which you stopped trying the support suggestions then it makes sense to me, that you move on to the next suggestion and if reinstalling iTunes is the next suggestion, so be it.
However .... I too have issues that arise out of the blue with my iPad being recognized in iTunes and what I always do and it eventually works is to quit iTunes, restart my MacBook, and reboot my iPad.
Rebooting the iPad is the last thing that I do and only if I have no success with quitting iTunes and restarting the Mac. It may take a few tries to work, but if you are that dead set against reinstalling iTunes, then give it a try.

Did you try to change the location in Settings/iTunes & AppStore/AppleID -> view Apple ID, log in ->Country/Region -> India?

If i factory reset my ipod touch(5th gen), can i reset it as the option 'set up as new ipod', and then i can just go into the app store/itunes store and restore my music and apps and not icloud with photos and ect?

The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. My partner has a works iPad, which has her works Apps on (ones that are specifically made by her company and are NOT available in the App store).
What I want to be able to do is to ALSO have my itunes account on there so that I can put all the apps I have purchased previously from my iPhone on it.
This is so I can put on VLC player (thats already in my itunes account) so I can add videos to the iPad.
How do I do this please?
I tried it before by connecting it to my mac, but it wiped everything off the iPad completely and also deleted the data settings for using 3G.
So I want to avoid this happening again the future as it had to be sent back to her head office to be sorted again.
Any advise please?

You can't. The iPad is desgined to be a 'one user' device and only really works with one apple ID at a time.
The only way would be if she, at work and with her work apple id, downloaded your apps (repurchasing them of course).
It's not meant to be a multiple user/multiple ID device.

I think there's still something amiss here.
I have the v25 Folio Producer Tools for CS5.5 and the v25 Folio Builder panel. (I'm on 10.6.8 for reference.)
I also have the latest v25 CV from the App Store, and with my iPad Mini plugged in, and the Content Viewer open, the option to side-load still isn't showing.
I thought it might be because I also had a v24 viewer (custom built) installed, but that's not the case. I uninstalled both of them and just downloaded the v25 viewer from the App Store. The result was the same.

I updated my iOS to the highest available for my Gen 2 iPod Touch. Now I can't see or snych apps to o from it via iTunes.
In fact, there are no Apps listed / displayed in iTunes when I synch and look at my iPod's content--the apps category disappeard.
Can anyone help?
