I was restoring my ipad then I accidently closed the itunes by Task Manager and now I can't see my ipad in itunes or any similar program but when I plug my ipad to the PC I can hear the alert means it's plugged , and I can see it in Device Manager , and I can't put it in DFU mode or anything else because I have no screen or home&power button.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

My problem is almost the same, I went to plug my 60g iPod into my PC USB port, and it locked up my computer and iPod. Now my iPod is stuck on the Do not disconnect screen and hasn't even changed the time at the top, still stuck at 10:05AM. I'm getting kind of upset here. I haven't even had the thing for over a year yet and I keep it in good shape.
Any ideas on how to fix would be helpful.

It worked just fine last weekend. I have windows 8.1 and a brand new pc, new iPod also, the new Nano. now after the update today, iTunes says iPod has been detected but could not be indentified properly. I can see it in windows. I tried the reset on the iPod also. what else can I do?? HELP

Doublechecking. Have you tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

I used to be able to sync my ipad with itunes. Now when I connect it to the computer I don't see it appear. Vista 64 bit. My iphone works with no problems.

if you haven't already, I swap out the known good cables and see if that makes a difference. Here are some basic additional tips

The issue is complicated because the other iOS device does work, pointing to some type of fault with either your cabling for the iPad or the connector or software....but start with the above TS. Any changes to your environment?

You cannot sync Contacts & Calendars using iTunes and must use iCloud (but you can sync everything elsee through iTunes).

Yes. Reinstall iTunes. If that is the point at which you stopped trying the support suggestions then it makes sense to me, that you move on to the next suggestion and if reinstalling iTunes is the next suggestion, so be it.
However .... I too have issues that arise out of the blue with my iPad being recognized in iTunes and what I always do and it eventually works is to quit iTunes, restart my MacBook, and reboot my iPad.
Rebooting the iPad is the last thing that I do and only if I have no success with quitting iTunes and restarting the Mac. It may take a few tries to work, but if you are that dead set against reinstalling iTunes, then give it a try.

My iTunes does not show the "Device" heading so I can't see my iPad. I also can't connect to the iTunes store.

I also can't connect to the iTunes store. Strangely though I can access my library on my iPad. I'm trying to copy karaoke files I use for work on to Karaoke Anywhere, and I need to "see" my iPad under Devices to do it.
I have reset the iPad, reinstalled iTunes and Quicktime, disabled any automatically run startup software. I have deleted podcasts and changed the date.
Why the heck isn't this working? I've only had this thing for 2 weeks and I've been more frustrated by it than by any Windows device I've ever owned!!!
