Can't see some of the .MOV videos I took (on my Mac).

When I import every photo and video from my iPhone through Image Capture, I can't see some of the videos I took with my iPhone. I have the iPhone 4. However, I can see them on my iPhone—precisely not on my Mac. They are .MOV video, and nor QuickTime nor VLC can't read them.
What should I do?

I'm not near my Mac right now but when I try to open the videos with QuickTime, it says that it doesn't recognise the format—it gives me an error notification. I will try to convert it but I don't think it is going to work since the video seems to be flawed.

I can only see some of the information of my Facebook friends in my Contacts. For example, a friend has a birthday today. I received an email that she and another friend have birthdays this week. I received a notification on my iPhone and iPad that her birthday was today. It was never displayed in my Notification Center or Calendar beforhand, like it's displayed for other friend's (for other friends, it's displayed in the Notification Center, with the Calendar icon, 1 day before). I looked at every setting I could think of and the Help pages on Facebook. Nothing is working. My friend with the birthday today has her birthday openly listed on her Profile information on her Facebook page. In my contacts, her Facebook email (the one Facebook assigns you when you join) is listed. However her picture and birthday are not listed. I displayed my Facebook Contacts only, and roughly 20 showed up and not the rest. It's like the devices are not recognizing those people and putting their information in the respective places. I have an iPad 3rd Gen, iPhone 5, and MacBook Pro (purchased in January 2013. I hope that helps) and ALL the software updates are current. Can anyone help? Also, my MacBook cannot access my Contacts from Yahoo. Despite my typing in the correct password repeatedly as well as deleting and adding the Yahoo account again. I'd be grateful for any and all help. Thank you.

When I open some messages in Microsoft Outlook 2003 I can't see some parts of the message body. With Outlook Express is all ok. We use Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 6.2 (built Dec 2 2004) with Messaging Express as webmail.
The same problem is happening with Internet Explorer 6 and 7.
I don't know how to get out from this problem beacuse 50% of our users use Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook.
Please help!

The missing photos appear with the text JPG, but not all of them are gone. Does anybody know what's wrong??

I can't see some of the artists on my Ipod...

This is no serious problem, but I wondered if anyone could help me out?
I have an 60GB Ipod Video, and it works fine, but some of the artists that are on iTunes do not show up on my Ipod. If I look for the albums on my Ipod, they are there, but if scrolling through 'artists', I cannot see them. It's a slight inconvenience, so any ideas as to why this is and how I can fix it would be gratefully received!

Yes they are. For example:-
I have three Badly Drawn Boy songs all from various acoustic compilations, all attributes are correctly placed and spelt - they are clear as the eye can see on iTunes, but the artist Badly Drawn Boy simply does not appear in my artists list on my Ipod. It's the same with Neil Young, and a few more, but others show up fine. It can't be anything wrong with the albums either because other artists from the same album show up, just a select few don't!
Any more suggestions?

I cannot turn off the passcode feature on my iPad 2. I have done what they say, it says it's off, I got an email that says I am no longer protected, but the horrid passcode that comes constantly is still there. Ready to throw it away, and was previously addicted.

Are you sure that it is still asking for a passcode and not for your SIM PIN which looks very similar?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
The best way would be transfer them to your iTunes library, but if you wish to delete them instead, select the trash can on the right hand side of the listing on the Apple TV, you can't delete them using iTunes on your mac/PC?

I can't see some of my songs

I 've noticed that some I can not see some of the songs under the artists (these are the ones that have no info in the album column in i-tunes). For example I have about 10 songs from the cure and I can see only one (the one with the album info) when I am searching from artists. On the hand I can find cure's song from songs. Is there any way to fix this problem?

Obviously,you need to enter any info such as Band/Artist names exactly the same,ie/if you Type in "The Cure" and then "TheCure" it will be recognized differently.

Can't see some Jabber Buddies

For some reason, i can't see some of the buddies on my Google Talk (Jabber) buddy list. I can see them on their AOL account, but not on their Google Talk account. I've tried re-adding them, and deleting my google talk account and recreating it. They can IM me, and I can IM them back (on Jabber), but I they don't show up on my buddy list no matter how much I re-add them.

It is more likely then, seeing this is a more detailed post, that it is a Google releated problem.
It is probably their link to other Jabber servers.

I have just downloaded itunes 10.6 and in the process my "podcast" option under library has disappeared! The files are still on my laptop. I can also see some of my recorded music in my itunes library but can play them - there is an exclamation mark next

Visibility of the Podcasts section is controlled from within the Edit > Preferences dialog.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
Missing tracks
Typically this can happen because a file or folder is accidentally shunted to the wrong location. iTunes can also get confused if it expects to be talking to an external drive which isn't there. If will often reset the default media folder location and may have trouble finding files in the old folders.
Select one of your tracks that is missing in action. Press CTRL-I to Get Info. Cancel when asked to try to locate the file, then look at the location given on the summary tab. This where iTunes thinks the file ought to be? Now find out where it actually is. Post back the two locations for comparison. I should be able to give you some steps to reconnect everything once I can determine which of the things that might have gone wrong is most likely in your case.
When you get it all working make a backup!

I have problem. Some users can't see some of attributes of info-object in the Query Designer. Where is the problem?

I think you would need to give more details on the problem,
as <b>some</b> users are not able to see <b>some</b> attributes.
Do they all share the same profile, what is the distinguishing thing among the some users who can see the attributes and the ones who cannot see the attributes.
Need to drill down further I guess.

I've seen something yesterday that says Airplay in control centre is only for Iphone 4S and onwards. It's frustrating when they take something away without any obvious reason. I'm going to change back to IOS6 until it's sorted out.
I also tried connecting to bluetooth and only once I'm connected does an icon show up in control centre. There's no direct way to connect to a device from control centre on the Iphone 4 from the looks of it.

my total library is 680 mb, nowhere close to the 2.08 in the pictures folder. I am obviously messing up.
Actually you’re not.
The iPhoto Window reports the size of the library that would result if you exported all the current versions +and nothing else+ to a folder on the desktop.
The iPhoto Library Folder contains the Original, Modified and thumbnail versions of your pics. It also contains various cache and database files +all of which are necessary+ for the working of the Library.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
You can run a Library on an external disk:
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library Folder as an entity from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
