Can't see Templates in Palette

I have successfully installed the Templates in /Lib/App Support/DVD SP/ Templates (there are 24 in there). The problem is that the DVD SP doesn't seem to see the templates, to display in the Palette- it is blank. I did make a custom template and it shows up both in the palette (under custom) and in the Templates folder on my HDD alongside all the stock templates.
I have tried to relink the app to the templates folder in DVD SP preferences which was set to /Lib/App Support/DVD SP/ and chose the Templates folder. There was some loading progress, but still no templates to be seen in the Palette under custom (with the exception of the one I made) nor Apple.
I have run disc utility to repair permissions as well as deinstalled and reinstalled DVD SP + Templates
Any ideas how to get the Templates to show up?

if you load the templates from their current location, they'll show up in custom instead of under the apple templates. this might be quickest. not sure exactly how to check for hwere DVDSP expects to see the apple templates. The workaround for moving them to different drive used to be to start out with them in the default location and move them elsewhere, then put an alias to the new location in the old default location.

Can't see template button assets in menu editor

I'm unable to see the graphic assets of the buttons when pulling up a template in DVDSP. In the menu editor I can see the buttons but it has a gray background and I can't see the buttons graphic assets.
When I simulate it looks fine. Shouldn't I be able to see the graphics?

Did you restart Captivate after you installed the new skin??
I seem to recall from another post that this was the problem as
Captivate needs to restart to accept the new skins.

Hi. I am trying to install biomedical tools on my labview 8.6. when i run the biomedical startup kit 8.5, it installs correctly, but when i go to see if the biomedical palette exsists on the function palette i dont see it.

I looked into this issue a little and found that you have also emailed into support. I'm going to work with the engineer assigned to that request, but you can expect your primary source of information to come through email.
The quick answer to your question is that the Biomedical Startup Kit you downloaded is for LabVIEW 8.5, while you have LabVIEW 8.6 installed. I'm checking to see if there is a way to port the VIs over manually into the LabVIEW 8.6 palette, but I'm not confident this will work at this point.
We will let you know through email what we find out, but the official answer at this point is that the program you've installed is not supported under LabVIEW 8.6. Thanks, we'll keep you updated.

Why I can't see templates uploaded from MUSE in BC?

I recently was working in a site and did all the templates in MUSE and published in a business catalyst site, everything was working but today I opened my business catalyst and the templates I have done in Adove MUSE didn't appear in the business catalyst. Site Manager>Page templates section. I tried to re-publixh again the site i have in MUSE but it didn't worked and I really don´t know what to do know. If any person can help me with this issue I will be grateful.

I just statred Flash CC for the first time and it seems that the text within the pop-up window (dialog box) is mis-aligned and not allowing me access to the command buttons, nor all the text. (ie: the NEW Template Box, can't see but 2/3 of the content)

Chez moi, il y en a une kyrielle en dehors des dossiers standards parce que je renomme wxcvb.template quasiment tous mes documents Pages et wxcvb.nmbtemplate à peu près tous mes documents Numbers.
Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.

Dreamweaver can't see my css or template files

I'm sure this is a simple problem with a simple answer, but it's baffling me...
I'm currently setting up a new site with a new local root folder. I'd like to make some pages for this new site based on my existing css file and templates. I put these files into my new site's local root folder, then clicked through the usual 'Page from template' procedure and created a new page from one of my templates in the normal way.
Trouble is, as soon as I try to save the page I've created, I get an error message: "This document uses the following files not in this site -" Dreamweaver then lists my css file and various image files. But all the files show up as present and correct in my new local root folder!
The error message box gives me the option to copy the files to the local root folder of my new site - although, as I've said, as far as I can see from a glance at the Files panel, they're all there already. In any case, if I click the "Copy" button, I get another error message: "Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded."
I can upload the page, but it comes up with no formatting - here it is: http://www.nemesis.to/testpage.htm
Looking at the code, I see that the css file is linked like this:

I suspect that might be where the problem is. I would expect that line of code to look more like this:
<link href="newpagestyle.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
But I have no idea why that's happening, or where to go from here. I suppose I could re-write that line of code by hand, but that doesn't amount to fixing the problem. I'd like the whole thing to work normally from the first click!
Have I got my css file and/or template files in the wrong place? What do I have to do so Dreamweaver can find the files?
All advice welcome - thanks for any wise words you might have. Sorry if this all seems very simple, but I really don't know enough about this stuff to make progress from this point.

Oh, yes, I think it's all ludicrously over-complicated! The thing is, I've been using my templates without any trouble for ages. The problem only came up when I created a new local root folder, copied my template and css files into it, created pages using those templates and - suddenly I've got no formatting.
Everything in the old local root folder is still working fine. I can make new pages from the template files in that folder and it's all good. It does look like the copy/paste process broke the essential links, but how could that happen?
I suppose I could create new templates from scratch in the new local root folder, but that seems unnecessary when I've already got template files that work perfectly - in the *other* local root folder!
Anyway, here comes the code...

This surely must be the problem, because I can't see anything else that's different - but how could that line change simply by copying the file into another local root folder?

WAD 3.x templates can not see in WAD 7.0 frontend

We are using BI7.0 , we can see some web templates in Business explore>Web application designer 3.x .This same web templates we can not see in business explore>web apllication designer 7.0
Do we need to do some settings at the front end to see web templates.

How can I see the alpha channel in the channels palette?

Hello, mi format plugin loads a rgba image. I see it with transparency, that's ok, but when I go to the channels tab I only see 4 items (RGB, Red, Green and Blue).
How can I see the alpha channel of my file in the channel tab?

OK, something must be wrong... but I don't find it!
That's my whole code (resumed). I ommit some code (saving file code (not used) or main function, where I only call te "DoSomething" functions. You can see that I use layers. The DoReadContinue function is only used to show the preview.
In the DoReadStart function I set the parameters for the layers (and the preview), and I fill the "data" and "layerName" params in the DoReadLayerContinue function. I hope you can understand the code!

And that's the image that I obtain loading a 8 layer image:
The layers have transparency (when I set "transparencyPlane" to -1, or 0, or 1, or 2, or 3, or 4....., I got the same result!). The blending mode is still "normal". I had set it to "linear dodge" The "isVisible" param works OK.
Alpha 1 is still black.
Is possible that I need to set something in the .r file? I had to add "FormatLayerSupport { doesSupportFormatLayers }," to manage layers, for instance.

Can't Open the "Library palette" in xcode 5

Hi every body
I installed xcode 5 but I cant "Open the Library palette" ?!!! befor xcode 5 We can see all of atributs of class in "Library palette -> Classes"
every classes that we defined was exist but in xcode 5 I don't find this Capability in xcode
how can I see atributs of my classes in xcode 5?
I need class library but I have Object library and code library and media library and template library
I am really confounded !!

I talk about OS X Application Coca Application , .xib file(When you open xcode and and crate new project)
Befor xcode 5 library palette -> Classes:

The Library palette was removed in Xcode 4, not Xcode 5.
If you want to see the members of your class, select the class's header file from the project navigator on the left side of the project window. In your example the header file would be named MFAExampleClass.h.
If you are working through a Cocoa tutorial, find a more recent tutorial. The screenshots you are showing are from Xcode 3. Xcode 5 is new so finding a tutorial that uses Xcode 5 may be difficult, but a tutorial that uses Xcode 4 would be an improvement over one that uses Xcode 3. There were many more changes from Xcode 3 to Xcode 4 than there were from Xcode 4 to Xcode 5.

PC's can't see all of my .html page but my mac does.

Can anyone help me figure out why my web page is only partially visible to PC's? I built the page with Site Studio 1.7 on my Linux Server and have a table page with the top and right bottom tables visible to PC's but the contents of the bottom right table (which is an embeded adobe.jpg/.html file) is only visible on my mac.

I'll give this a try next...I also discovered that my mac is set at 1440 X 900 (I'm new to Macs too) and I was going more on how things looked on my (only computer) when I should have been paying attention to settings for different Browsers. Now I need to figure out what are the best overall sizes and settings to set things at...any sugestions?
What I have been doing is: taking a .pdf sent to me originally made in Pagemaker Pro 7 --I open it in PhotoShop 8.5 X 11 300dpi I reduce to 72 dpi save for web in slices with images and HTML producing for me a 612 x 792 pixel page... I have a basic 2 col x 2 row table page produced on my hosting server(Site Studio) -in one of three cells I place the header then below left the .html and in the other cell to it's right I place several 336 x 280 flash animations all with the <embed> tags....this obviouly hasn't worked too well...but 750 + 336 is just under 1100 so shouldn't that be ok over all for most of todays Browsers? I don't mind the scroll bar vertically appearing as it makes room for more banner ads down the side (I think).
A PC opinion of http://www.todaysipnchat.sipnchat.ca/page109_0106.html would be appreciated anyone out there as I don't have one to check things outfirsthand.... Thanks again for all your support - people like me couldn't get off the ground without you!........MtM

Can't see conflicts item in iSync menu

I am using OS X in Swedish, which probably means I will not use the exact English terms in my question - apologies!
I have a Nokia N73 which I have been syncronizing with iCal, using bluetooth/iSync 3.0.2. Now changes I make to the phone calender aren't transferred when I sync. I can't understand why, but wonder if it has something to do with the principles for resolving conflicts between the two. I am now trying to view the "conflicts" item in iSync, but can't find it. The "show status" box is checked, but I still can't see a "conflicts" menu item. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions? This is soooo frustrating, any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is for PE4, so things might be slightly different in other versions. In the main tab area, make sure you are in Edit. Then below, click on the Project tab. Your Assets will display there. Exactly how they display will depend on your display settings. If it has been Imported, it should appear there.
Now, with Menus with Motion Backgrounds, remember that there is a 30 sec. max limit to the Duration of a Menu in PE (do not know if it was bumped up in PE7). When I create a Motion Background AV, I do so on a Sequence in PrPro2. PE does not have Sequences (kind of like mini-Projects), so if I were using PE, I'd do a separate Project and would edit my Motion Background to fit, then Export as a DV-AVI Type II, for Import into my Project. With PrPro and Encore (my authoring program), there is a 40 Duration limit, and that is what I do. I also Export my Audio as an elemental stream, rather than use a muxed AV file, and Export these separately, then Import them separately into Encore. Now, I do not know if PE automatically truncates the Duration of the Motion Background Asset to 30 sec., of if one needs to do this separately. Steve, or Robert can fill in that blank for you. However, my method should work fine, but might include an extra step, if PE does the trimming automatically.
Now, if you are using an AV Asset from the Template list, you will probably have to Import that separately, as I do not think that PE uses the .EM format, that links Menus (.PSD's) and other Assets for Motion Backgrounds (.WMV, .MPEG, .MOV, or other). Again, one of the PE experts can tell you about that.

Can't see design view in DW CS 4 or 2004

I am very new to DW but I have a template (that I inherited) working in Design View with DW CS 5.5, but can't see it in CS 4 (mac) or MX 2004 PC versions. I want to make it editable so I need the design view. In CS 4 (mac) I can see it correctley in Live View. The 5.5 is a trail version so I really need it in MX 2004. Premeire Elements 12 can't see disc menus added to project in PE 10

I have a project that I created in Premiere Elements 10. I just installed Premeire Elements 12, and while I was able to open my project, PE 12 apparently can't see the disc menu I created in PE 10. I tried to recreate the menu, but when I installed PE 12, the install wizard apparently failed to install the menus.
I have the installation CD. I just spent/wasted about 45 minutes with a chat agent who either couldn't understand what I needed to know how to do, or didn't know how to do it either, and never transferred me to there supervisor after saying they would. The agent wanted me to download the components, which means I have to purchase them, when I already purchased the expensive software (which should include the components needed to use it). If I try to run the install wizard again to install the missing menu component, it first tries to uninstall Premiere Elements.
Does anyone here know how to use the installation CD to install missing/additional components on a computer that is not connected to the internet?

Project created in earlier version does not always open with later version. So, the classical comeback is to finish a project in the program in which it is created. Do you have Premiere Elements 10 as a fall back? Even the path back may not be possible. If you have taken the original 10 project and edited it in 12, you should not be able to go back and edit in 10 again. But, let us keep that in mind, but see if we can find a way to open the 10 project successfully in 12, menus et al.
Both 10 and 12 have the Blinking Lights Theme, so we are not dealing with a discontinued theme. And, Blinking Lights is not one of the photoshop.com plus content. Good.
In 12, when you go to Tools/Movie Menu/select Holidays and Events/Blinking Lights, do you find the thumbnail for Blinking Lights with a blue band at the top right corner of the thumbnail. If so, what happens when you right click the blue band and select Download Now? Do you have your antivirus and firewall turned Off? You cannot use Blinking Lights with the blue band. Only an incomplete set of assets for the Blinking Lights installs with the program. All have to download essential files from within Movie Menu in order to get that menu to work.
Also, we want to know what is going on with this theme's assets at the hard drive save location. To do that, go to

and then tell us what you find in the Blinking Light Folder. Any .psd files? Before or after the Download Now?
In the next hour or so, I am going to do a complete run through of creating a project with Blinking Lights menus in 10 and trying to open it with Blinking Lights menu in 12 in order to make sure that there are no special glitches in the path.
Definitely be set up for Run As Admininstrator.
More later. I will give you a detailed account on my results.

Add On...Where is the media for 10 project? Is the 10 and 12 work being done on the same computer? If you are working from one computer (with 10) to another (12), did you transfer the 10 project to the other computer with 12 using a Copied or Trimmed Folder from Project Archiver so that you took the 10 project media along with its project.prel?
