Can't see the entire devices window

I have the latest version of iTunes. If I go to preferences, then Devices or Advanced, I can't see the entire window. For example, in Devices, the first check box and the letters Dev are not visable, and appear to be to the left of the left edge of the window. I can't check the check box!

How can I see the entire "title" of a page (now truncated)?

I see that Firefox is now truncating the "title" of web pages. I cannot see any good reason for this because the space to the right of the title is blank. I think it was done in the "do anything to make changes to Firefox" department but in this case it is not an improvement and provides the user with less information.
How can I fix the browser so I can again see the entire "title" as provided by the web page designer? I don't want to take extra steps (if any) to see it. I want it to display automatically each time.

Just tried to download and it wants me to buy it again? Is there some way around this? I guess I thought that was the whole point of the cloud, buy it once and access from any of your devices right?
Also, I have logged into the icloud.com as suggested and will plink around there for a bit and try to understand. It is just all so dang different that what I am used to; Apple's way, that is.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
*Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
*NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause such issues.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow websites to choose their fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Can't see the capsule on windows xp my network places

after upgrading the FW to latest one now i can't see the capsule on my network places as usual..
the only way now to access it is to install the airport utility and let it mount the drive for me..
is that normal and how to make capsule accessible under my network places??

After partition using fdisk, i can not see the new device file (/dev/sdd1)

I used fdisk -l to partition /dev/sdd, use the entire disk as partition 1. it looks successful:

the problem: i don't see the device file /dev/sdd1. tried to delete it and partition again, the same.
also tried
- mknod b 8 70 /dev/sdd1, to manually create it, but when i use oracleasm createdisk DISK2 /dev/sdd1, the command won't recognize manually crated /dev/sdd1.
- reboot the server,
- "partprobe" command, no luck.
in addition, cat /proc/partitions seems including /dev/sdd1:

After you create a new partition, always verify it:
# fdisk -l /path/to/diskOnce that confirms the new partition, you must tell the kernel to re-read the partition table. Several ways to do this, depending on what your storage connection is. This often works:

How can I see the entire page on ebay?

I can see the photo and the first list of items on the specific page but am unable to see any further information such as what other options are available on an Apple laptop or any additional info until I get to the bottom of the page and then I can see the number of times the page has been viewed or additional items like the one I am currently viewing. As for your issue, is this a problem with all browsers (for example, does it also happen on internet explorer?) or just with Firefox?

HT4528 The screen when accessing text msg or trying to type increases in size and I can't see the entire keyboard, also a problem in the basic screen the icons get huge, almost like the ipad screen size. How do I correct?

Sometimes when using the text screen, the font for the keyboard increases in size limiting the view of the entire keyboard on the screen. So far the only way to correct is to poweroff the iphone and the poweron aqgain and the problem ius corrected. This also happens on the basic screen, the size of the icons are enlarged, to a size that you can only see one or two icons or parts of them.

Try going to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom to be sure it's off. If the screen is already magnified, double-tap the screen with three fingers to zoom out.

Open the AppleScript Editor in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and run the following:

This script will not allow you to access anything which is set not to be readable by your user account. The /dev/ folder on the startup disk is hardcoded to be hidden to the GUI and cannot be revealed in the Finder by this or any other method. To turn it off, replace the 1 with a 0.

Where are you not seeing the full date information? If it is on one of the Browser Metadata Overlays, you may have to increase the size of the thumbnails or remove some of the other data being shown (and/or the metadata labels).
On my Metadata Overlays for Browser, Viewer, and Tooltip, as well as on the Metadata tab of the Inspector, the full date-time stamp is shown, e.g.:

Why are my photos on iPhoto all zoomed in to a face and I can't see the entire photo?

Then you have imported the face thumbnails - did you recently move to a new machine and import your old library? Hint - NEVER import one iPhtoo library into another one - it does not work and creates a massive mess
If you did import yoru old library then drag the bad library to the desktop and Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) or use an external hard drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.
once you have a good working library trash the bac one on the desktop
