For both WD and flash you have the following connectors: start, end, signal in, signal out, data store and user data.
In WD you have in addition navigate.
In flash you have popup signal and timer.

How to get the page navigation buttons back at the bottom of the page?

After upgrading to Acrobat X I discovered that there is only one option for the page navigation buttons - at the upper left. I'm mystified as to why they put them there. Most users are right-handed. With the buttons at upper left it's awkward to reach up there, across the page, with the mouse cursor for every page turn (yeah, I know you can use the PgUp/PgDnkeyboard keys, but that requires taking your hand off the mouse every page turn).
What I really want is to be able to put a copy of these buttons back down at the bottom center of the page, which was an option in previous versions. Is there some way to get those back at the bottom?

Have you tried Read Mode yet ( under the View menu)? It displays a nivagation bar at the bottom of the PDF with next/previous page, zoom in/out, etc.

My iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPad 2 are running 6.1.3 with no such problem and the same with the overwhelming majority of iOS devices running 6.1.3.

The TOC is very confusing. How can I see the page showing the list of chapters and accompanying pages?

The TOC is very confusing. How can I see the whole list of all the chapters, as it would appear in a book? I only can see a vague image of the chapter title, and only from one chapter at a time; the chapter I am on. In the instruction example it shows also only the "title" of the chapter it pertains to, but it is all in legeable text. The inspector gives options, but it does not explain how to apply it, and I cannot see what my option will look like and to what part of the "text" it is referring.

The "lower rectangles" are thumbnails of the actual pages in your book... the text was presumably the content of your book. IF you did as I suggested to keep the TOC listing of a full book.. but removed content on all except the three chapters you want to send off to XXXXX - then the "rectangles are showing blank pages. Which is normal.
You need to understand that Apple created iBooks Author to create a book which can be obtained from their iBooks store. The application is flexible for customisation to a large extent and the innovative make use of that flexibility. The TOC basically replaces the old Index in printed books to advise readers what content is available.
On an iPad, or Mac now, Insterad of using "hyperlinks" from a written index page... which is basic web page navigation - Apple chose to have a visual TOC.
Basically you have to decide - create a three chapter sample which you seem to require - which will show the TOC as it is, or if you the whole TOC of the finished book is required to show... but not the content, you end up with blank "rectangles".
Screenshots oniPads... press the top right start button and the lower centre, home buttom together and it makes a screenshot. Transfer to your computer ( email or Dropbox type cloud) and add to your post.

Can't find the 'page navigator' in Pages

I can't find page navigation features in Pages
I'm using Pages 5.2.2 on OS X 10.9.5.
(usually I work with word processing documents)
I think I must've said 'OK' & accepted an upgrade at some point, because the application suddenly looked different one day---e.g. the Inspector is no longer a floating window, but a column on the side... So I gather there's something called the Page Navigator, but I can't find it anywhere---not even a mention in Help.
I no longer see the page number in the lower left of the window, and without that, I can't jump to a page.
Please help.

I do know about the thumbnails, and yes, you can quickly drag up or down there, to find to the page you want. But that's still no match for clicking in the old page-number box on the lower left corner and simply inputting the exact page you want. (Even that wasn't quite as good as "Go to page __" command).
Have they really deleted that?
And where's everything else? The Inspector (is it no longer available as a floating window?!) seems sparse---I can't say precisely what's missing----but I have that weird feeling like when someone moves around the things on your desk, stuff is missing, or isn't where it used to be....

Bookmarks not highlighting or saving the place! Can't see the page?

I created an EPUB book and it loaded and worked great in iBooks. I could created bookmarks, too, which worked really well.
But somehow now, after several bookmarks, it has stopped working. Everytime I open the book, it starts at the beginning.
When I select and tap "Bookmark", nothing seems to happen...no colored highlighting, and the selection deselects. Though it DOES copy the selected Text to the bookmarks page, visiting there and tapping the bookmark takes me to page one of the book instead! very odd.
Note that I used Calibre to make my ePub.
Anyone else seeing Eire bookmark behaviors?

I went back into Calibre and re-encoded the epub files and I selected "No SVG Cover" & "No Default Cover" under "EPUB Output" and also "Do not add detected chapters to the Table of Contents" under "Table of Contents". Try that and see if it'll work then.

How can I see the same configuration make in Flash CS6, in Flash CC?

In Flash CS6, when making the configuration to create a new flash file, I would put AS2 and Flash Player 9. I would review those configurations in the publish settings panel. If I open that same file (made in CS6) using the Flash CC, the publish settings display from 10.3 and AS3. Is there a way to check those configurations that I had on CS6, using Flash CC? I have a production of 200 banners made in CS6 but have now installed Flash CC. I would like to know how can I verify from Flash CC that all banners are made in Flash Player 9 and AS2.

How do you close an information window when you can't see the close button?

One of my Macs is a trusty old G3 iMac and since version 8 I've had a problem with the information window you get for podcasts when you click on the 'i' button. The window goes to the full screen height, in fact it goes beyond because you can't see the top and button. Therefore I can't close it with the mouse or move it.
I also can't find a keyboard shortcut that will close this window, so I have to exit iTunes and re-start, which on this machine is a slow process.
Anyone help welcome - is there a keyboard shortcut?

...that's the sound of me hitting my head on the keyboard. I never knew about Command-W because, you know, it's only a menu option IN ALL THE APPLICATIONS I JUST LOOKED AT!
Oh well...you learn something every day...and I would like to point out that if you use OSX Leopard's help system and search for "keyboard shortcuts", Command-W isn't mentioned.

I have upgraded to LR 5.7. Suddenly I can't see the circle and central round button when I drag an area for Radial Filter. I also can't see the starting round button when I try to use Adjustment Brush.

Try pressing "H" for show/hide pins. Will turn it on or off.

My front screen seems to zoom in when I start it now. AND, now I can not see the page fit the screen. It makes me scroll on the borders to move parts of the screen into view. Something changed and I don't know what happened or how to get it back to normal. Please HELP!!! Thx!

it is possible that zoom maybe enabled i think double taping with three fingers should disable it.
or you can go into settings>general> assessability> zoom and turn it off.

Where do I find the "page back" button. Mine is "grayed out"

On many pages I can't use the page back button it is gray and won't allow me to use it.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Print, Export and Page Navigation Buttons in the Report

When I view a report through CR4E, the generated report has 3 buttons namely Print, Export and Page Navigation buttons. But when I click on either of the buttons I get a 'null pointer exception'. This is a critical error as I am unable to navigate past the first page. Do I have to add code to these buttons? If not, why am I getting an error? Kindly solve my problem as soon as possible.

Looking at your code it appears that you are storing the ReportSource in session prior to passing in the ResultSet. This will create a problem when a postback is made on the viewer page (which all of the viewer actions do). If you look at the sample code which is generated when you use the JSP Page Wizard you will notice that the ResultSet is passed to the ReportClientDocument object prior to it being stored in session. Then, when the page is called again this object is retrieved and the ReportSource is used by the viewer. You can quickly run the test using one of our sample reports to see what I am talking about. I don't see the new "firefox button" and i can't see the bookmark button (with the drop down option) unless I'm in the customize toolbar view. How can I fix these?

I am using Firefox 4.0 on Windows XP home, Service pack 3. I am trying to use some of the new features of Firefox 4.0 that I see on the Firefox feature page (http://mzl.la/gCFDjj) and am not having much luck. First off in the Firefox Button. It is supposed to contain all your menu items but it is not appearing on my screen. Is this a feature that only works in Vista or Windows 7?
Second, I am trying to use the Bookmarks Button (the one that has the drop down menu) but it doesn't appear in my toolbar unless I right click the tool bar and choose "customize". The button shows up in this view already in the toolbar, as if it is hidden in normal use and no matter where I move it to, once I hit the "done" button in the customize window the Bookmarks Button gets hidden/covered up again.
Third, I see the new "App Tabs" feature but I can't seem to find an option for this in the preferences for Firefox, if it's even supported by my browser/OS at all.
Can anyone tell me how to use/activate these features or if I am even able to using Windows XP?

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden (View > Toolbars > Customize or right-click a toolbar). 
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily. 
You only see the Bookmarks menu button if the Menu bar is hidden.

How can I see the entire "title" of a page (now truncated)?

I see that Firefox is now truncating the "title" of web pages. I cannot see any good reason for this because the space to the right of the title is blank. I think it was done in the "do anything to make changes to Firefox" department but in this case it is not an improvement and provides the user with less information.
How can I fix the browser so I can again see the entire "title" as provided by the web page designer? I don't want to take extra steps (if any) to see it. I want it to display automatically each time.

That is on the tab. A tab has a maximum width because otherwise a long title would cover the full tab width.
You can make the Windows title bar visible again in the open the customize window via the 3-bar Firefox menu button (Customize is at the bottom left). 
There you will find the choice to have the title bar visible.
