Can't see the screen!!!!!!!!!!

When i'm in the sun i notice that the screen is really really reflecti've and i can't see the screen at all, not that it's broken or anything. Anywhoo anyway or trick to fix that because i wanna change tracks when i'm outside.

Which player do you have? Sometimes a screen protector can help if you feel the angle or reflection is not to your liking.

Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order

Possibly backlight died, if you look at it closely in bright light can you see a "Shadow" of the screen image?

Thank you. I told it to the apple store in Southampton and they were fab. I was lucky and there was no water damage, the water indicators didn't change colour. It was just bad luck my screen failed at the same time as it got wet!! Screen changed and all is well. Thank you Genuis Tom and West Quay!!

My computer is on and I can the my front screen. BUT it is too dark , so I can't see what to do. I was having trouble and I had to reset the PRAM. Is this why I can not see the screen. And how do I fix it?

I believe the keys on an imac are F11 and F12, for dark / bright respectively.
Try that, I think it'll work.
If not, then try out all the "F" keys, one of them will work.

If you plug your phone into your computer you can sync and backup so that when you get the new phone you can restore from a backup instead of setting it up as a new iphone

Download photos from old phone, but can't see the screen

Download photos from a LG Spectrum 2 that quit working, my contacts came over from whenever the last backup was, there were some of them missing as well. I can't see the screen on Spectrum 2, but the power button light is illuminated if plugged into a charger. My Spectrum 2 has an internal SD card, so not just as easy as obtaining from the SD card.

I am sorry for the issues you are having. Without having access to the on screen prompts of the phone the media can not be transferred unless it was previously backed up somewhere such as the VZW Cloud or another 3rd party storage. If you would like you can try to gain access to the media by plugging the device into a computer and transfer the media however this many not be possible as you must enable USB Mass Storage on the device. Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.

You can try an alternative.
This is the quickest thing that came to mind, but if you want to wipe it with no care of the data on the device at all:
Place device in recovery mode (turn off device > hold home button + plug in to iTunes (WHILE HOLDING BUTTON)).
iTunes will give you an error saying it detected a device in recovery mode, you need to restore to use device. Restoring device is a factory reset. AKA a wipe of the device

The graphics card connected to the logic board on my old MacBook Pro is broken. Due to this the screen does not come on. I intend to sell my MacBook for parts. Before doing this I need to wipe the Hard Drive. How can I do this without seeing the screen?

Unfortunately I would not know where to start disconnecting and fitting Hard Drives!
I did however manage to mount the old machine to my new MacBook. Then used the disk utility to earse the contents of the old drive.

Mini ipod - Can't see the screen

I can hear the music but can't see anything on my Mini ipod screen. Tried troubleshooting, screen light appears but can't see the apple logo.

I can't see the screen in the sun

I've searched for an answer, but can't find one. I have a 8320 and I use the theme that came with the phone. I can not see anything on the screen when there is a lot of light (i.e. outside). Is there a theme or some kind of setting I can use to help? This is very frustrating. Thanks, Joe

Have you tried turning off the "
Automatically Dim Backlight" option?
This can be found under Options-Screen/Keyboard
I find if this is set to On I have a hard time seeing the screen in day light.

My iPhone 4 screen is very very dim. Features work but I can't see the screen well enough for it to be useful.

My iPhone 4 has a very dim screen. I can barely see the icons and the phone responds to touch. The phone is pretty useless other that as a phone to receive calls.

Go into Settings >Brightness and turn 'Auto-Brightness' Off, then move the Slider all the way to the right to give you maximum Brightness. Does this make a difference?

If you look closely, can you see any feint image?
Try connecting the notebook to an external display to see if you then have video output.
