Can't see the whole spread

Hi,
I working in an InDesign document that
has four pages (two spreads)
For the first two pages (spread), I'm able to see
everything. However, on the second spread I was able to see
the whole thing for awhile by either by zooming out or moving
my cursor up down or to the side with the space bar held down. However,
suddenly that's not working. I can't even scroll down using the scroll bar past the top half of the
second spread unless I'm zoomed out to the point where I can't read
the text.
I've tried Fit Page in Window and Fit Spread In Window and that
doesn't work either. What's going on?

Thanks Peter. Wasn't successful with the preferences, but restarting InDesign did the trick.
However, now the type is acting funny. It should be regular black but it's fading from
black to white. I've attached a screenshot.
Think this is related to the preferences?
How do you quit and relaunch InDesign in the manner
you describe in the resetting your prefs intructions? Is
there a way to do that automatically like you in restarting
your computer. Or do you need to quit and then re-open it
while holding down command, shift, control and option?

What you see is what is available.
Turning the iPhone into landscape mode with Month, Day, or List view selected provides the closest thing to seeing an entire week.

How can I see the whole day in day view without scrolling?

I'm using iCal 4.0.4 on my MacBook. I'd like to see the whole day of events without having to scroll down. Right now I can only see about 5 hours at a time. I've set the day to start at 8am to midnight. Is there a way to see 12-16 hours at a time with no scrolling?

Go to iCal > Preferences General. If I remember correctly there should be a "Show XX hours at a time" option there. There certainly is in version 6.0.

MSI GeForce 9800 gt after updating the driver can't see the whole desktop

I have a MSI GeForce 9800gt, and I've tried to update the driver. After update I can no longer see the whole desktop, I have to move the mouse to the edge of the screen to see the rest, it's like there is a zoom or something.
The driver that came with the CD works fine, but any other driver give's me the same problem. I've tried with v.191.07, v.178, v.258.96, v.306.81 and a few other. I've also reinstall the windows but with no better results (I'm using Windows XP Pro).

I've tried this as well, I even try with a fresh install of windows, I've bought a new SSD for my system disk, so I have reinstall the windows.

My front screen seems to zoom in when I start it now. AND, now I can not see the page fit the screen. It makes me scroll on the borders to move parts of the screen into view. Something changed and I don't know what happened or how to get it back to normal. Please HELP!!! Thx!

it is possible that zoom maybe enabled i think double taping with three fingers should disable it.
or you can go into settings>general> assessability> zoom and turn it off.

Ah, the old history: Adobe's staff do not use ID. Just Word.
BUT, it is something I can do: just purchase a dedicated script/plug-in and kindly send the invoice to Adobe, to be discounted from my monthly invoice.
In this second example the thing is really delirious. After the change is made ID jumps to an absurd place of the page. Cannot believe it. Many years suffering this!

How do I get my home screen smaller...it has gotten bigger and I can't see the whole thing at once. Changing the resolutions doesn't make a difference.

I had my mouse in the bottom left corner when I made a spreading motion with 2 fingers. The whole screen got really magnified. The reverse action did not put it back. How to I get back to the standard size home screen????? PS....I'm a new mac user..so no big words plz.

Head to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Universal Access (or Accessibility or whatever they call it now) and fiddle with the zoom settings.
Perhaps you should consider using a scroll wheel mouse and setting the Control key as it being held down to zoom in/out with the scroll wheel, that's what I do and it's a lot easier than using the trackpad.
Trackpads are more for like temporary portable and emergency uses as they are not that comfortable or easy to use for the long term.

Emergency! Partition permission error! can't see the whole partition!

The HD inside my MBP has 2 partitions. system & work
Somehow, I can't see partition Work in the Finder. I tried repair it in the disk utility. However, partition Work appears to be grey, and I can't verify nor repair the permission.
I also tried booting MBP with the Tiger restore disk. I met the same situation and No success at all.
Can anyone help me this out? Thanks in advance.

It could be that the partition has had the invisible bit set. See this thread:

If you can still navigate to stuff on the partition it is likely that is the problem.

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist", or check the "compilation" flag (as in https://discussions.apple.com/message/17670085).
If these are from multiple-CD sets you may also need to enter the appropriate information in the disc number fields. If they are not a multiple CD set you still need to make sure the disc number fields are set correctly or all empty.

My appearance add-on doesn't show enough of the entire picture, so how can I see the whole picture?

I download a few delightful "Appearance" add-ons -- full size -- however only a miniscule part of them show on my screen. And the pert that shows is covered by the tool bars. I have already given up displaying them on my screen, and I've decided I'd like to add them to my photo collection if that would be allowed. Is there a way I could simply download them for wallpaper or file away to look at now and then without signing a contract or anything? I have no desire to post them anywhere or claim them as my own creations.

“Persona” — a type of Apperance add-on — is just a fancy name for a toolbar background. You can show more of the image by adding more toolbars:

On safari my left margin moved and I can't see the whole screen

On Safari, my left margin moved and I can't get it back into my field of vision. Help!

You can click and drag on the gray area above the the Safari Address pane, drag it to the right.

Why can't I see the whole image?

I can not see the whole image in the viewing area. All I get is a partial rectangular section, with the rest being either white, or checkerboard. It doesn't matter what size the image is, nor how many layers, or even whether I use the 32 or 64 bit versions of the software. I even have the same problem when I create a new image from scratch. It doesn't matter whether I reboot the system either.
I am using Windows Vista, on a two year old machine, but it does have a powerful processor, and 4GB of RAM. I've checked the system resources, and the CPU is only 25% occupied with 2GB or RAM to spare... so what gives?

You need an updated display driver.
Go to the web site of the maker of your video card (not Microsoft), and locate their current release for your hardware and OS. Download and install, and it will almost certainly solve this issue.
