Can't see tutorials

I have intermittent problems watching the online tutorials. I can hear them, but I can't see them. It seems to be a problem with Quicktime? I never have a problem watching a video in an email, if that helps.
When someone in the forums asks me to watch a tutorial, I can't! Help?

Software is up to date. I've been having this problem for a while now (few months). Just now getting around to asking about it.
Not sure what to 'reset' in preferences?

Can't see code in design mode

I am a complete novice when it comes to DW so please forgive
my ignorance. For some reason the code between my h tags and the

Have a iDisk for many years, can see streaming vidéo on my original web site but when
i put the same video on my galerie web iphoto can see all there, i create a new album

Here is what I did...
1. I created the video in Snapz Pro. Then I saved it to my desktop.
2. Next, I uploaded the image file, which is a .mov file to my web site. I put mine in a folder called img.
3. Now this is the best part, go to this web site:
http://cit.ucsf.edu/embedmedia/step2_qtv2.php?mediatype=QuickTime
4. I selected Web Server and then went to the next screen. On the next screen, add the web server name and the file path. I am a newbie so I made the mistake of adding the entire file path. You only need to add the info. after the web name. Example:
My web server is: http://www.robenmariesmith.com
My file path is: img/tutorials/PSActionsTutorial.mov
Select the pixel image size for your largest image for width and height.
Make the other selections that it requests and click Submit.
5. On the next screen you can actually test your media. If all is working, copy and paste the code into your web site.

How can I see how often and where an image is used in the site?

workflow features in DW ...
1. where in the sitewindow/assets or files panel can I see an
indication at each image if and how often it is used in a site?
2. and where can I see/check on which pages it is used?

I'm not sure what the benefit is of knowing how often an
image is used, but
a search for the image by filename would do the trick.
And just so you'll know, this is a peer forum, not an

Can't see podcast videos...

I just downloaded one of my favorite podcast videos that I'm subscribed to and I tried to open it to watch it within iTunes like I always have done before with other versions of iTunes but it won't play the video. I can hear it but can't see it.
I heard that you have to have Quicktime 7 to view video for the new iTunes but in order to have Quicktime 7 you have to have OS X 10.3 or higher which I don't have, so, unless I upgrade I'm screwed regarding my podcast videos? Also, if I bought a new video iPod would I not be able to view the video on there because I don't have the correct upgraded operating system?

These files can be found in your iPod's iPod_Control folder which is hidden by default. So turn on the option to show hidden files and folders, and from there you should be able to access this content on your iPod.

Can't see file code

I'm using DW 8.0.2 on this computer (30-day trial of full
version CD I
have). On my home computer I have DW MX 6.1. I am trying to
edit existing
website files from a website that I didn't design. It has
".htm" files,
."html" files, and ".asp" files.
At home (with DW MX 6.1), I can access the website files,
download them, see
the html and edit the code, and upload them to the website.
This works for
all file types (htm, html, asp).
On this computer (with DW 8.0.2), I can access the website
files and
download them. But I can't see the html code for some of them
in order to
edit the code. All I see when I open those files is jibberish
symbols.
This is true for all 3 file types -- in other words, some of
the html files
work, some of the asp files work, and some of the htm files
work. By
"work", I mean I can see the code when I open them.
I just reinstalled DW 8.0.2 and HomeSite, and Extension
something, and
ColdFusion hoping somehow that would fix things. What
happened is that now
I can "see" some of the files whereas before I couldn't see
any.
Any ideas what else I could try?
I'm using Windows XP Pro.

When I click on the wrench or right click to customize the box, these are the options I'm given. I don't see waveform. I've edited in Adobe Audition for years, and see the waveform panels in all the Premiere Pro tutorials, am I missing something? (besides a brain?)

Inserted the code but can't see the site in design view

Hello, I just downloaded the trial version of DW ver.8 and
opened an existing site I have and can't see anything in the design
view, but everything is there in the code view... and the site
shows just fine in the browser preview! This problem happens with
all the html pages I open up. Someone please tell me what I am
doing wrong. I am using mac osx ver.10.4.5.

I copied and pasted the code into DW and I didn't have a
problem viewing it,
A couple of things:
You need to close a a tag here: the > was missing at the
end:

My iPhone 4s is not working, I see the screen connect to iTunes.
I have try to proceed ton an update via iTunes, but my wire have a trouble, so the phone disconnect, to process of update begin and stop.
I have change my wire, I connect my iPhone to windows, I have de sound of connecting, I have iTunes open, but I can't see my phone in iTunes and neigther in my computer.
Know I have phone dosen't working and I can't try to do something, I look in tutorials they don't have anything, they solutions for problem close, but not this one.

Did they have a kind of BBSAK like for BlackBerry? if I can just swipe and reinstall iOS it will be easy for the rest.

How can I see Calendar event END times at a glance?

How can I display my Calendar event titles exactly as I type them? I do not want Calendar to remove duration from the titles of my events. Otherwise I can't see event END times at a glance in month view; only start times. How can I "trick" Calendar to just show my titles as I type them - as I always could before I upgraded. I used to be able to enter "Seminar 9am-5:45" and it would appear that way regardless of how or what I chose to enter (or not enter) for duration.
I am running OSX 10.9.3.

It's a bit weird, but if you type in the time info TWICE into the event title then Calendar uses/deletes one of them to populate the event details and leaves the other.

Can not see historical data in Time Machine backup

Hi folks
First my setup:
   MBP Late2012
   Samsung Evo 840 SSD
   external USB 3.0 1TB as TimeMachine HD
   Mac OS X Mavericks
Now my problem.
After updating to Mavericks I've made a full backup with Time Machine.
Then I swapped the former 500TB HDD to the Samsung Evo 840 500TB.
A clean setup of Mavericks follows.
After that I restored the Backup from Time Machine.
Everything ok. Til now.
Because everthing works fine in the past, I did not control the Time Machine.
Today I wanna restore a File from my "Pictures" folder.
So I opened Time Machine.
Oops.
There I can only see the latest run.
Also in the timeline on the right side the only entries are TODAY and NOW.
I can not scroll into the past.
All windows behind the current window have a black titlebar.
In Mountain lion the titlebars are grey if there is data available
and the title contains the date of the backup.
What is the problem?
Is there a bug?
Did I something wrong?
