Can't see webdynpro applications in webdynpro administration

Hi all,
I've installed ess and mss business packages on portal. But I can't see the respective applications nd jco connections in webdynpro administration. Any clue what could be wrong here. I am using EP 7.0.

Have you deployed these webdynpro applications on you server where the portal is installed?while deploying WebDynpro application, in J2EE configuration, configure the J2EE engine.

Can't see Planning Application

I am new to Hyperion Planning, but I was able to successfully install and configure each of the components listed below. When I launch workspace and click on navigate, I do not see a Planning App. When I look in Administrative Services, I only see the sample apps. Am I doing something wrong, or should have the planning install created an application.

I can see the application in the administration services console and can start it, but if I go back to the creation wizard I cannot see the application in the list of applications.

There is no such thing as a "sub-account." Also, you probably mean iTunes library, when you say "account." Your "account" in iTunes is your Apple ID, which is what you use to sign in to the iTunes Store to make purchases. iPods are associated with an iTunes library, not with an Apple ID (iTunes Store account). You'll need to clarify...
So, this is what I think you are saying. You previously shared an iTunes library on a computer with your friend. Your old iPod was synced to that iTunes library.
You got an iPhone, and at that time, you set up your own iTunes library. Is that on a different computer? How does the iPhone affect your question about the iPod?
You got a new iPod. What is your "old iTunes"? Is that the iTunes library you shared with your friend?

Can't see SAP- Application Servers in Visual Studio 2003 Server Explorer

Hi Experts
I installed SAP .NET Connector 2 in Visual Studion 2003. I can add SAP Connector Proxy to the project but I can't see SAP->Application Servers in Server Explorer window in Visual Studio. So I can't add a new SAP application server. Refreshing Server Explorer doesn't help. Does anybody know any solution?

How can I remove the applications form Content Administrator

I had undeployed the applications from Content Administrator in two ways:
A:
1. Start the tool using the go.bat located in \usr\sap\<SID>\<Instance Name>\j2ee\admin folder
2. Log in with an Administrator user.
3. Under the Server node click Services-> Deploy.
4. In the runtime tab, on the right hand side screen click on the Applications checkbox. The list of all deployed applications appears.
5. Select the application and click on the Remove button.
B:
Undeploying using SDM remoteGUI.
after I finished that,the application still exist in the browse of Content Administrator Web Dynpro.
But it is'n invailable.When I click the application name,it throws exceptions:
Failed to get the list of names of referenced deployable objects for deployable object 'local/Welcome'.
Failed to get list of defined JCO clients for deployable object 'local/Welcome'.
Failed to get the list of names of referenced deployable objects for deployable object 'local/Welcome'.
Failed to get enable state for 'local/Welcome'.
No resource bundles found for development component ''local/Welcome''.
My question is , how can I remove it form the list.

     What is the version of the server you are using?
     The steps you have followed are perfectly fine and I don't see any issue there.
     I hope you refreshed the list on the Content Administrator before accessing the application.

Follow the steps below:
1. Create a new Window and embed a View which needs to be opened from the main view.
2. Create a context attribute of type IWDWindow (Java Native Type Option)
3. Write the following code in the controller for opening the new window:
IWDWindowInfo windowInfo = (IWDWindowInfo)
wdComponentAPI.getComponentInfo().findInWindows("<windowname>");
IWDWindow window = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager().createModalWindow(windowInfo);
wdContext.currentContextElement().set<contextattributename>(window);
window.show();
4. In the new window, create a contextattribute and bind it to the attribute created in controller and on action of the close button write the following code:
IWDWindow window = wdContext.currentContextElement().get<attributename>();
window.destroyInstance();

In device content I can't see the application library. Why?

I connected my new ipad mini 2 to the last version of itunes. Than, clicking on the ipad logo I saw two sections, the settings one with all the libraries (music, movies, applications, photos etc....) and the device content one in witch the applications (that I bought from apple store with my ipad) library is missing. I would like to know why and how I could see the applications library in the device content.

Did you click on the Apps tab in the upper left portion of iTunes? .... assuming that you are running iTunes 12. If running iTunes 11, the Apps tab will be at the top of the iTunes window on the right side.

I can't see my applications

I cannot see my files in several folders on my PowerMac running 10.9.1. Specifically the Application folder seems to be empty, but a search reveals the files and folders are there. How do i 'unhide' them?

It sounds to me like your directory was/is very damaged and while now 'repaired' not sure how much faith and trust I would put into it.
You ought to keep bootable backups so you can restore, in addition to TimeMachine which you can boot from and restore with.
Carbon Copy Cloner can make an exact copy of your working system. I recommend two, one from pre-Mavericks or befofe you make an update. Also, to do a file integrity check on all files copied using checksum. And it does a smart update and can include Recovery partition.
A lot stronger and as I said I woudl not rely on Disk Utility alone. Fixing the directory does not insure or say anything about the state of or integrity of any files, or the health of the disk drive and its sectors.

I want to see the output of applet created using swing concepts in the internet explorer. is it posible please help me............

3. You can d/l the JVM for IntEx
4. You can use the <target> tag on compiling

I have lightroom5 and have paid for an upgrade to lightroom 6 and it has not insralled..How can I download another copy. I can only see cloud applications! I live in australia

If you have installed the free version of Creative Cloud you can simply click on the Try button next to Lightroom CC 2015. Then use your serial number to convert it to LR6 perpetual. See this link:

No longer can I see any applications in my Applications folder, but I can open it just fine?

The title says it all. When I navigate to my home folder > applications it appears empty!
Steps I follow to recreate this bug:
1. Open a new finder window.
2. Navigate to the Users/myusername/Applications directory
Nothing shows in there.
However... if I click "Go" > "Applications" it opens a folder on my primary drive (not where I moved my home folder). Is it not possible to move all applications to the secondary hard drive to live within my home folder? I thought I had done that already, but now they have reappeared there. What might have caused this?

Help in importing WebDynpro application to NWDS.

I need to customise an iview. These are the information i have -
1. platform of this ivew is WDJ.
2. got codelink of the iview -com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.webdynpro
3. got the corresponding par file.
4. In the business package document, it says a folder name as the data source of this iview. i traced the folder of it.
now how do i move forward?
1. When i imported the par file, it opened in the package explorer as a portal application project, but could not find any source code. How do i open it in WebDynpro perspective?
2. how do i import all these (data source + par file) into NWDS so that i can view the code in the WebDynpro perspective...
I am already tired of searching the entire SDN. Can some one help out to explain the steps in simple terms for me to move forward. I am in the process of learning this (portal customisation through WebDynpro Java).. kindly help :).
I am just trying out in the test system.hence decided not to use JDI.

Hi Antony,
As you mentioned WebDynpro application then there should be .EAR file not .PAR
and the procedure i gave you earlier is not applicable for .PAR (Portal Archieve)
for this please follow the following method.
if you want to test the application directly, login in to the portal and navigate to system administrator -> support -> portal runtime -> administration console and import the .par file and then create a new iview in portal content and select par file name and you can see the application.
if you want to see the code, import the .par file in EP Perspective and if it is a JSP Dynpro application, you can find the code in <b>\dist\PORTAL-INF\pagelet</b> folder.
Also <b>you can not see the PAR in WebDynpro perspective</b> you can only open it in EP Perspective.
hope now i got the right procedure for you. As per your Subject line, i quickly posted you the procedure to import webdynpro application to NWDS but in your case you are dealing with portal project.

GP: WebDynpro Application vs Web Dynpro (GP Interface)

I've gone through some documents here in SDN. And I can't find a document that could give me a comparison between having a WebDynpro Application and WebDynpro (GP Interface) as callable objects.
From what I understand is as for GP Interface (WD) as callable object, you implement inherited GP methods to 'expose' input/output parameters of the WebDynpro DC. Now, how does that compare with just calling (attach as action) a WebDynpro Application? Does this one also have an 'exposure' procedure needed for it to be considered as a callable object?
Could someone help me as to the comparison of both? Also, the PROs and CONs would also be of help.

Why can't I see the applications set in the Excell client

I can log into the APPSET in Admin console, Also I can loginto the APPSET in MS Excel client. But I can not see the Applications in the APPSET. I have tried every trick on the book for this SAP BPC MS7 version. Any clue will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Any way I still don't understand the issue:
You said you are able to connect using webexcel. If you are able to connect with webexcel that's means you are able to see the application because otherwise you can not login.
Also into admin console you should be able to see all the application from that appset?
Are you saying it is one application which should be there but it is not?

APPLICATION created in Admin BPC client can't see in Office BPC client

I am an SAP BI Consultant and having around 4 years of experience. I have started to work on BPC 7.5. I have created dimensions and APPLICATION as well successfully. however when i try to open my Microsoft office BPC client, i am able to get my App.set but i can't see my Application.
Can anybody tell me what should i do now ? Also guys if you have documentation on simple scenarios in BPC then do please share the links or documents on komikshah at google account.
