Can't see you tube videos: why?

can you help me please? I downloaded last Avobe version (Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX - 11.4.402.287) but i still can't see some youtube videos. What else have i to do?

First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

Can't Download You Tube Videos Anymore???

Hi guys!
I'm just after a bit of help...
I've been using 'Wondershare All My Tube' to download and convert You Tube videos with little or no probs up until a coulpe of days ago... Jut found a video I liked, hit the 'Download' tab at the top right of the video, and away I went!
Now, however, I can't seem to be able bring up the 'Download' tab anymore, and I'm kinda stuck as to what to do now! Any ideas???

Thanks heaps for the prompt response, but I have another question for you... are you referring to You Tube or Wondershare? Shouldn't I still ve able to access the 'Download' tab on the b=video I'm viewing/thinking of downloading?

I can't watch You Tube videos via WiFi but I can in 3G.

This is on all iDevices - not just iPad. It's a new router that supports Smart Wi-Fi apps.
Why? Is this a setting? And it only seems to be You Tube. It says Playback Error
or Video Not Available.

What is the manufacturer and model of your router?
It is possible it is a security setting in the router or the DNS servers it is using. In both cases you'll have to change the settings.
If you are using a school or work network the content is probably restricted by the people running the network. Not much you can do here other than bring it to their attention. Adding a wireless router to these networks may also be against their rules too.

Thank you for your question, I understand that there are some issues looking at youtube videos. In the past I have seen changing the DNS connection has helped other users: [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1MvpKqgXJg] however since you are seeing this everytime, this video will not be helpful. I you change the network connection to point the DNS to 8.8.8.8, it may improve the video connection.
Other fixes I have seen are updating the audio driver for the device you use to listen to the videos with. [[Fix common audio and video issues]] may also prove useful.
Also noticed an outdated plugin:
When you visit the plugin update checker, does this : Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.07
show up as vulnerable?

Solved Can't watch You-Tube Videos

I've checked the Wiki and the search function, and can't find anything relating to setting up my box to view You-Tube (and others) videos. I tried installing flash, and it caused a browser crash, so that was no help. If someone can steer me to the right place, I'd appreciate it.

By the way as a little tip - avoid installing anything on arch by methods other than pacman. Pacman just makes it so much easier for version control, tracking, and removal. For anything that is not in the repos it is sure to be in the AUR, and if not you can even make your own PKGBUILD for it to make it into a packman package.

Well, I looked -- I don't know if I'll be able to install Yaourt, since you have to use AUR to install it, and as I said before, I wasn't successful getting AUR to work for me, I've tried it several times and flubbed it every time. I'll try it again, and if I'm not successful this time, I'll start a new thread on that. Thanks for the link!

I can't stop You Tube video from playing

I was watching a video on You Tube via Apple TV. When I decided I didn't want to continue watching it, it would not stop playing.
I tried everything. Eventually, I disconnected from Apple TV, then turned everything off. I went to bed. This morning, I turned on my MacAir and the stupid video is still playing. How can I stop it?

Suddenly Can't Play You Tube Videos - Again

You Tube was working just fine, and then it wasn't. I'm using Lion 10.7.2, Safari 5.1.2 and it all works find on my 11" MacBook Air. But YouTube won't play on my 24" iMac Intel Core2 Duo. I recently downloaded MPeg Streamclip and downloaded a bunch of YouTube videos and it was fine. But not anymore. Any suggestions?

This happens every once in awhile. Just give it some time and it usually fixes itself. If it still doesn't work, try deleting the cookies in your web browser. Post back if it is working or not please.

For Firefox, In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the page in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Can't view you tube video. First it played an advertisement which I blocked, but the problem was doing that removed the music video I wanted to watch as well. How do I stop annyoying ads playing and at the same time get to watch music videos I want to?
