Can't send a document via mail in Acrobat

I can't send a PDF document from within Acrobat 9 PRO to my mailprogram Outlook 2003
When I click te button "Send by mail" or File->Send by mail nothing happens :-(
Is the a way or workaround to resolve this problem??

I have the same problem in Acrobat 8, but most other people in my company don't have that problem, so I believe it has something to do with my settings. Never-the-less, my workaround is to "save" the email first. You would think it would put the email into your drafts folder, and you could send it out from there. Instead, it puts it into my "inbox". Then I forward it out from there. It's perhaps an awkward solution, but it works.

I need to know how I am able to send a PDF file via mail, without it becoming an attached file. This means when the receiver opens the mail, he automatically sees the PDF without first having to read the normal mail text and scroll down to open the attached PDF file. Just like a spam newsletter
Also I want to know - I want some illustrations in my portfolio to be a hyperlink to a website, is this possible on a picture (not on an URL) - and if so - How?

How can we send Error Idocs via mail

Hi,
I have read read through forums and understood that it can be achieved either through workflow or through report using table edidd & edids.
If workflow option is used , does the mail trigger for every error idoc ? How can we send daily error report to user say by EOD containing all error idocs using all possible options.

I dont think so any direct Report will be available just to get Error IDOCs details. Although you can create a simple report to read the tables. An example is in below link.

Also, you can create a Query of EDIDC and EDIDS tables to obatin relevant information.

Can't send the file via Mail app!

Google says it's dangerous type of file! The same problem with Skype. When I'm trying to drag the file on the skype dialog it shows the text with the name of file.

Nothing really. The screen simply reverts back to the photo I tried to send. Then when I go to the message app and pull up that person's thread, the photo has not been sent. I CAN send photos from the message app - just not the camera app.
Also, I just confirmed that I can post to twitter from the camera app. Strange....

Report to send a List via mail

Hi everybody,
at the moment we hava a report which we have to start every day to generate a customer List. Via SAP Office we can send this list via email to a specific person. Now I like to automate this report and start it as a job which automativly send this list via mail.
Do you have an idea how this will work?

Hi Christian.
You could put the lines of your list in a table of type SOLISTI1 and then use the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send the content of this table. You have to fill the table RECEIVERS with the address you want to send the report to.

Can't send even 1-member Mail group to SMTP server

Using Mail 2.1.3, I can't send a group e-mail via my ISP, smtpauth.earthlink.net. This is true even when the group contains only one address, my own. The message is accepted if I expand the group.
Earthlink's SMTP mail server says "message does not conform to RFC2822 standard".
Apparently Earthlink is looking for something different from what Mail is sending it.
I'd welcome suggestions of what I could do to make this work.

If I open Address Book, select a group, and then drag to the BCC field _all the individual members_ of the group, the message is sent.
But if I drag the name of the group, the message is not sent.

I added one Email server navigation via Admin>Delivery Configuration > Email with the server name and host.
Then Send report via Email, got error.

Can't send or receive e-mail on EDGE network

Just recently I can't send or receive e-mail on the EDGE network - both work fine on WIFI though.
Safari and all other features work fine on EDGE and WIFI so it's an e-mail issue. I am using an IMAP account, no SSL, Incoming port 143, Outgoing port 587. After trying to connect for some time, sometimes I get a "cannot connect to server" message but usually no message at all.
I would really appreciate some advice

Am in Olympia WA for the holiday - I live in San Diego - I agree started two days ago. I spent 3 hours with Apple Support - they conferenced in ATT and they were no help. Eventually - I did a restore and did not change a thing. Am using 1.1.2.
Something happened late monday as it was fine sat - mon night. Since I do not live in WA - I assume things will be OK when I return to CA. Giving ATT a call might help - but you will definately need to get it escalated to a higher level.
I have sent this forum link to the great apple T3 support person that spent so much time with me - hopefully he will forward on to ATT and it will get resolved for all of you. Something did change on Monday night.

Yes. Why couldn't you use the same email account?
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Add Account>Other. Start there.
