Can't send albums to Facebook or Flickr

I'm trying to send albums to Facebook and Flickr. It will start working properly, but then it will either send some of the photos then freeze, or just say "pending..." forever. If I cancel, and try and send them again, it often says "Sever authentication failed." I'm using the latest versions of Leopard, iPhoto, and Safari.

Take a screenshot of the error if you have one and post it? Would like to see more detail here.

There are now well over 400,000 3rd party apps available via the iTunes app store. All should work on the iPad but all are not optimized for the iPad - written for the iPhone and optimized for a smaller screen but will work on the iPad.
You can download apps from the iTunes app store with iTunes on your computer followed by installing the apps on your iPad via the iTunes sync process, or download/install the apps from the App Store app direct on your iPad.

I have and IPad, how can I send my photos to Facebook...

Facebook, as a site, uses protocols that the iPad doesn't work with, but the facebook app - or a third party facebook app - will overcome that and you can share photos. I do it all the time.

My wife's email account is with mobile me. She can't send albums out of iPhoto.

In the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts enter her account (or if it is there delete it and re-enter everything) or IMHO better yet just use mail - set it as the the email client in the iPhoto preferences

Updated Firefox and now can't send messages in Facebook but can if I use other Internet Applications

Since the update of Firefox, when I try to send messages to friends in Facebook I get an error message stating that "message failed to send". Have not been able to find a work around. Have cleared History (Cookies and Cache). Facebook messages work on our other laptop which has not been updated and if I use other Internet applications like IE, My Opera etc

Hi there, I can't seem to send sms texts to Facebook on my iPhone 3GS iOS 6.1.2 on Three-UK network.
I can receive Facebook messages but I cant reply to them, I know I have credit and signal because I can text my partner and friends.

first of all if u are able to send the normal messages from the messaging app..then there is no problem with ur network and ur credit...in this case it is better that you first uninstall the app and do a reset and then install the app once again....
if u are not able to send the normal messages from the messaging app..then there is a problem with ur network or ur credit......which in turn is affecting this....
if u are facing this problem after changing the os version of ur 3gs then it is better that u update it to the latest version...or if u are facing this problem because of changing the network then i would recomend that u contact the network operator once....

Can someone help me with a problem I have publishing photos to Facebook and Flickr

I am using LR4.4 on my HP laptop (Windows 7 Home premium) with Mozilla Firefox as my default browser. I was able to publish some photos from LR to my Facebook account early in October. I have some new photos to publish, but find I now can no longer publish to Facebook. I get a message – “Facebook authentication check failed”. I have tried to reset up publishing to Facebook within LR, but when I click on the Authorize in Facebook, I get a Firefox Error Message: “The address wasn't understood Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (lightroom) isn't associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address.” I have tried using IE as the default browser, but I get the following Internet Explorer Error Message: “The webpage cannot be displayed. Most Likely Cause: Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed.” From the Adobe website (helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/errors-occur-using-lightrooms-publish.html) I have unsuccessfully tried all 5 solutions to resolve this issue.
Other steps I have tried - I have removed the LR app from Facebook, then attempted to Authorize from LR. I can get through 3 steps in Facebook (request for Public Profile, accept Posting to Facebook, and accept managing FB pages), but the final step again fails. In Lightroom, after the authentication step fails, I note that the “Failed to receive authentication token” is highlighted blue. When I click on this, a popup appears (see below). I had found a suggestion that this should be changed (I can’t recall what the alternative url was – but part of it was …”export.facebook”…) but I’m not sure where this change should be made. I attempted to paste the new link into this field, but this didn’t seem to work either.
I have also tried to set up publishing of photos to my Flickr account. I go to the LR setup, which directs me to my Flickr account, and click on the authorize button. But again I get the same error message! I am just about at the end of my knowledge / ability to solve my Publishing problem. I would really appreciate you help and advice with this issue. How can I set up albums within photostream or flickr?

I set up photostream on iphoto (thanks for those hints!).
Now, I dragged an album of photos into photostream. But I noticed that all the photos are in one long list.
Can I create albums within photostream? So that I can then have a lot of photos in the photostream, but share specific albums with people (not necessarily having them weed thru multitudes of photos to get to one particular photo group).
I also noticed that the only way to share photos with people (unless it's just a single photo being emailed, of course) is to upload the photostream to Flickr.
But then in flickr, the only way to share the photos is to give them my Flickr link, which again means they are seeing my entire Flickr account of photos, albums, etc.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to have albums in photostream, and have some way to send someone a link to see a specific album (i.e. a dedicated link to an album the way we used to do with Mobile Me.)

Groups of contacts are created in the Contacts application and then may be used in the Mail application by typing the group name instead of a recipient name.

You can not - iPhoto and FB sync so changes in either are reflected in the other - if that is not what you want then upload photos directly not via iPhoto

Can't resequence photos in i Photo 11 smart album.. tried drag and drop.. also if I share a smart album to Facebook will it appear as manually sequenced or by date?

I have created a smart album with a date range and 'photo is flagged' and I would like to sequence them manually. The doucmentation I can find says you can open a smart alblum and drag/drop... not me. Can you help?
Also.. if I figure this out and Share the smart album with Facebook, in what sequence will they appear in Facebook?

You can't sort photos manually in a Smart Album. How Facebook will display the pics is one for Facebook support.

What do you mean by that? Do you mean you deleted photos or albums from your iPhoto Library?
You best solution is to use Time Machine to restore your library from just before you "cleaned your iPhoto archive".

It is peculiar, that Chrome, Safari, and Skype can access FB, but not the iPhoto uploader.
Do you see any error messages/ diagnostics in the Console Window, when you try to connect to Facebook?
Launch a Console window from Applications > Utilities and clear the Console Window. Then try to upload. Are there any new messages?
