Since I have moved house and can not send or receive iCloud emails due to a new router possibly! I have added a new Smtp.mail, changed the port settings to 25 and back to Port 587.
The reason for all this drama is I have received on connection failed "p06-SMTP.mail.me.com". Can anybody give me a simple solution to this annoying problem? It's driving me mad.

The one Apple has reserved for me [email protected] does not send or receive e-mails on my iOS devices.
An alias I created [email protected] works just fine on my iOS devices.
I can see all 3 address under the icloud settings on the devices but the only 2/3 work fully.
So I was thinking because I have not had the e-mail from Apple confirming the switch from me.com to icloud.com then the [email protected] is not active yet. (However I can log into my Apple ID using the it).
Hope this makes it clearer.

Can't send or receive pictures on iphone 5/ sprint, please help!

Was on the phone for over 3 hours last night with Apple and Sprint and I'm beyond frustrated. I just started using my iPhone 5 on the Sprint network a few days ago. I did the 6.0.2 update. I can't send or recieve picture messages! Regular text messages are fine. Everything else on phone works great. I've went thru the whole trouble shooting routine on Apple's end w/ a senior advisor and have restored my iphone twice..it doesn't help.
Sprint said it has nothing to do with my plan and they said that my coverage here is fine.
Has anyone else had this problem? Was it a problem on Sprint or Apple's end? Could the 6.0.2 update have caused this? Could this possibly be a defective phone? Please help!!

ok finally got the problem solved. Hopefully this will help other people experiencing this problem.
First, go Settings, then select Phone. Under "My number" it should say your current number. If it doesn't (as it didn't in my case) call sprint (dial *2 on your phone). Tell the sprint agent you would like your Name assigned to your number.
In my case, I had been added to an existing family plan. I was assigned a random new cell phone number, but then later changed it to my old existing phone number from AT&T. So if you are like me and brought your old cell phone number with you when you switched to Sprint, then this may be the issue.
When I was experiencing the problem with my pictures not sending, the wrong phone number was showing as my number on the phone (even though people could call and text me using my current number).

Yes, I believe you when you say you can only send messages to other Apple products. The iPad is not a telephone, and therefore, it cannot text message. It can only iMessage, which means it can send and receive messages to/from other Apple products if they are on WiFi or an iMessage capable cellular network.
Email, however, is a whole different category. I don't really think you can only exchange email with other Apple products only. Make sure you have correctly identified the symptoms.

If you migrated from MobileMe, try deleting the e-mail account in your mail preferences and adding it back again. You will only be required to enter your password and the ID, the setup should add the correct settings and hopefully this will resolve your problem.

Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Add Account>Other. Start there.

Not receiving texts from iPhone contacts when I'm not connected to wifi or cell data. I can't send and receive regular SMS texts with non iMessage users but iMessage users message are not being converted to text when I don't have internet connect

I can send and receive to any non iPhone user. I can send a message as a text to an iPhone user but if I'm not connected to cellular data or wifi I do not receive messages from iPhone contacts. From what I understand these message should automatically send to me as texts instead of iMessages but since the update it's not functioning properly. Please help. I have the same problem! Before the upgrade, if I wasn't connected to the internet, any messages sent to me from an iphone would convert automatically to a text message. I have payg tarriff, so I turn cell data off, as it costs too much to use it. I have wifi at home and work, but if I'm out and about, I don't receive texts from iphone users until I'm on wifi. No. Regular SMS's require a cellular connection. However, iMessage will work in Airplane Mode, as all that requires is an Internet connection. You can turn WiFi back on while in Airplane Mode.

Help!!! My text application on Blackberry Torch 9800 disappeared!!! I can't send and receive texts :-(

I need your help!!!
The application to send and receive text does not appear on my phone Blackberry 9800 anymore... So, I can't send and receive texts...
I tried lots of things but the problem is still existing.
I have one error message everytime I turn on and reset the phone: "Uncaught exception: Index 14 >= 14" !!!
Any idea of what to do???

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
There's pretty much no diagnosing those -- they are the equivalent of the random errors in Windows for which tracing the root cause is fruitless. Basically, these are the last out in the programming code -- some event occurred for which there is no handler in the code. The fix is a code update that handles the event...but, again, knowing what the event is is pretty much impossible. So, there are a few things to try:
Sometimes, the code simply becomes corrupt and needs to be refreshed -- just like a reboot:
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If it won't boot up cleanly, then you may need to try Safe Mode:

The toughest possible cause is a badly behaving app. To find it, there are a couple of options. One is to see if you can read the log file:
Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type 'lglg'. (You will not see anything while you type).This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably many pages) untill you see a line that says 'uncaught execption'. Click on this line. The name of the app will be in the info. Alternative methods for bringing up the logs are in this KB:

The other method is to remove apps one at a time, waiting a while in between (I usually recommend a week), until the problem ceases...thereby discovering the offending app. Still another method is to reload the BB OS cleanly, leaving some time between adding other apps onto the BB so as to be able to determine exactly which one is the cause.
