    I can't send emails on iPhone with my hotmail account. Is it not possible?

    I am having the same issue. It started this week. I have 2 email accounts on my phone. One is a hotmail. And the other one is a network solutions email. I can receive from both but not send. I've deleted the accounts and added them back on and nothing. I'm going crazy because one is my work email!

    I have an iMac OS X Version 10.4.11. Can I download any new version with this?

    Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu and check the processor.
    If it's a G3, no further upgrades are available.
    If it's a G4 or G5, buy a retail Mac OS X 10.5 DVD from a source such as Amazon or eBay; Apple still might have copies in stock if you phone them.
    If it's an Intel Mac, buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD from the online Apple Store.

  • Can't send email from Outlook with parentheses in address

    I can't send email from Outlook 2007 through my WRT400N when Outlook displays the address with parentheses as in this example: Firstname Lastname ([email protected])
    I can send if the address is in this form: Firstname Lastname <[email protected]>
    I have tested with the ISP and nothing gets through the router when the problem occurs. When I bypass the router, both forms of address will send correctly. This problem is perfectly reproducible. My router is brand new, but the problem did not show up for about a week after installation. OS is Win7. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

  • Can't send emails to domains with the new TLDs .care .events .credit

    I recently got some of those new TLDs for our business and while I think they're great for short urls and links etc I don't see this picking up anytime soon. Most people I know think that the internet won't work unless you add .au at the end of stuff.
    Having said this I now also discovered that my BlackBerry Z10 wont let me send emails to these domains since it thinks it's not a real domain. (which is funny since they've applied for .blackberry)
    Is there a fix on the horizon for this soon?

    Thanks for posting about this @numnut
    I'm going to send you a private message so I can learn more and start investigating.

  • I can't handle any more problems with this K8t NEO

    Hi all, I am new to the forum.
    I will honestly say I have tried to read allot of posts before I spoke up but....
    I have:
    K8t NEO
    3200 64
    Updated to the latest BIOS
    Corsair Overclocking RAM (I am looking up the specs)
    256 sick on slot 1
    256 stick on slot 3
    A new PS....something like:
    3.3v 40
    5v 38
    12v 24 (the local CS gave me a hard time saying I DO NOT NEED such a big PS)
    Maxtor 40 gig ATA133
    NVIDIA 5600 256
    and dwindling patience.
    anyhoo, I have had one problem after another trying to get this system to work.
    It took 3 hours to find that you cant run 3 sticks of ram.
    The manual is the worst one I have ever seen. and there is no phone number to be found to talk to tech support.
    I am not getting anywhere with the email "support" from MSI....a DAY to get an abreviated answer that does not answer the specific question. It may be a viable system if they get more staff.
    One question...why does the screen "push any key to boot from CD" get "missed"
    and two.... I cannot install the OS. It will scopy all of its files and on reboot, i get a messasge about not finding the boot info or something...and to insert a floppy.
    I gave up and ran a preloaded HD and it worked for a day until during a recording session, It crashed and when it rebooted it says it cant find any boot info...I should of wrote down the message.
    Now What??
    I have tried:
    A different HD cable
    HD jumper settings (Slave / Master)
    I tried a low level format.
    3 different HDs
    Bought the new PS.
    I hope I do not have to send this thing in...I dont have hardly any free time. (does anyone?) IF it is needing replaced...do I deal with MSI or the Hindus (zboysz) I bought this Mobo from? I have nothing against Hindus but I CANNOT understand ANYTHING they are saying to me.
    Sorry for venting here.
    Can anyone can help?
    TIA,
    ~Wizzie

    Hey Wizzie
    Although I have bought stuff from Tiger Direct ...If I were you instead of fooling around with RMA-ing more defective/incompatable  RAM why not get the RAM modules that are indeed compatable with this mobo .........

    I just got 2 -- 512MB Nanya PC3200 CL2.5 184pin DDR400 DIMM from them and they are indeed top of the line. And at $ 110.00 U.S. per module I don't think that you will find a better deal. Not to mention that Nanya is indeed from MSI's - ASUS- ect "neck of the woods"

  • Can a G5 run without problems with this damaged harddisk? (picture inside)

    Ok, so I took my G5 to my dealer cause the fans were revving way too much, and the apple hardware test found an error concerning cpu A. Remember, my G5 worked perfectly fine except for those two things. It was still blazing fast
    The dealer got back to me and said there was no problem with the G5 itself, but with the raptor bootdrive that I had installed and bought myself.
    They say I damaged the connectors while installing it.
    I got the drive and G5 back wednesday, take a look at how my hard drive looks
    http://users.skynet.be/bk318948/hd.jpg
    Does this look like a harddisk which is able to run without problems for 9 months? I can't even believe you can attach the connector in the way those thins are bent and damaged.
    There is even plastic broken off.
    Besides, if they say this drive was the cause of my error code, then why does it still show the same code, even without that faulty hd inside?
    My guess is they damaged my harddisk itself, and are trying to pin it on me. No way, this drive cost me 200 euro.
    This dealer isn't going to get anymore money from me.

    Hi Klaus;
    Why not publish who did this to you here?
    You can then let them know how much you think of their work by telling them. That should return the favor they did you. Don't you think?

  • I can't send a text message with this new iPad 3

    I cannot send a text to a friend with an older iPhone.  I tried turning iMessage off but it keeps prompting me to log in instead of sending the text via SMS with my cellular plan.  Any suggestions?

    So you did not read about iMessage before you bought the iPad? If you did, you would know that you can only text other iOS 5 users.
    http://www.apple.com/ios/features.html#imessage says:
    iMessage
    iPad and iPod touch join the conversation.
    With iMessage, we’ve created a new messaging service for all iOS 5 users. You can send unlimited text messages via Wi-Fi or 3G from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch to anyone with one of those devices. iMessage is built into the Messages app, so you can send text, photos, videos, locations, and contacts. Keep everyone in the loop with group messaging. Track your messages with delivery receipts and optional read receipts, see when someone’s typing, and enjoy secure encryption for text messages. Even start a conversation on one of your iOS devices and pick up where you left off on another.

  • Can anybody tell me the problem with this code when compiled in jdk1.4

    Can anybody help me find out the error in this code.
    Try to drag a file from your desktop and drop it on the first textpane on my GUI. Then try to drag another file. This time the dragdrop event handler throws a null pointer exception. This happened when I compiled the code with jdk1.4. With jdk1.3 it is working fine. Actually, I need jdk1.4 to get the systemicons for the files I drop on my desktop.

  • Can't send emails from Mail with microsoft word attachments

    Ok, this is a weird one. About a month ago I realized that people weren't receiving my emails sent from Mail when I attached Microsoft Word documents to them. I can attach anything else, but the second I throw in a .doc, the email simply won't be received. It will send perfectly fine, without any errors or signs of problems. Ever heard of that before? Any ideas?
    12" Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

    I've been sending ".doc" files from both Mail and Entourage for some time without a problem.
    Having said that, is there a chance that your Internet Service Provider is somehow blocking some file types?
    I've recently come across a cpouple of European internet providers who do block executables and key file types that are known to cause problems or that might contain viruses/trojans.

  • Can I send emails through APEX in this way...

    Hi guys,
    If I have the following columns:
    Client_Name
    Client_email
    Contract_end_date
    Message:
    Can I get an email sent to a Client at the Ending Date of the Contract with the message that is stored in Message field.
    If Yes, perhaps you can suggest some materials that enable me to do so.
    Best Wishes,
    Fateh

    You may want to look at the UTL_MAIL and UTL_SMTP packages.
    It takes a bit of research to setup but it can be done. Google those packages and find the info related to your database version. There may be some security risks introduced by providing this type of feature, but you will have to identify and examine each of them. The risks are unique to each company, installation, training level, and skill set of the users.

  • Can someone tell me the problem with this (very basic) code

    I know it's very basic but here goes
    public class MilesAndFurlongs
    // the constructor
    public MilesAndFurlongs (int Furlongs, int Miles)
    amountFurlongs = Furlongs;
    amountMiles = Miles;
    // method to add one to furlong
    public void increment()
    amount = (amount + 1);
    // method to print out total number of furlongs and miles
    public void displayLength()
    system.out.println("Furlongs: " + amountFurlongs);
    system.out.println("Miles: " + amountMiles);
    bluej says theres an illegal start of expression in displaylength()
    i know its going to be something stupid :D

    this is all of it updated...
    public class MilesAndFurlongs
    // the constructor
    public MilesAndFurlongs (int Furlongs, int Miles)
    amountFurlongs = Furlongs;
    amountMiles = Miles;
    // method to add one to furlong
    public void increment()
    amount = (amount + 1);
    // method to print out total number of furlongs and miles
    public void displayLength()
    system.out.println("Furlongs: " + amountFurlongs);
    system.out.println("Miles: " + amountMiles);

  • Can I send emails by date?

    Can I send emails by date?
    This is what I can do using Eudora. In Eudora, I can set the date I want the email to be sent.

    you can use cron to run a script, or iCal can run a script, or I'd expect AppleScript could be used.
    The bash script you'd use would look something like this:
    cat msgtextfile.txt | mail -s "Subject" [email protected]
    Or you could find a mail client tool or mail client extension that queues the mail, akin to the way Eudora worked for you. Thunderbird has an add-on known as SendTools (0.4.1) that can be of interest here, as it adds a send date to the message compose window.

    Greetings,
    Questions:
    1. What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
    2. What version of the iOS are you running (Settings > About)?
    3. Do you use MobileMe/ iCloud or another server based sync solution like Google or Yahoo?
    4. Do other changes to synced information like Address Book content sync successfully back and forth?
    Based on your description it sounds like you have a 1 way sync issue.  Events sync fine between the iOS devices and fine from the computer to the iOS devices but not from the iOS devices to the computer.
    Try:
    Backup your computer and iOS devices before doing anything else:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
    Ensure all the devices in use are fully up to date: Apple > Software Update / Settings > General > Software Update
    Make separate backups of critical data:
    Backup your computer Addressbook: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=AddressBook/4.0/en/ad961.html
    Backup your computer iCal: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2966
    Reset syncing on your Mac: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1627
    Reply back if that does not resolve your issue.
    Hope that helps.
