Can't send email to a specific contact
Hey everyone...
I have a little issue, my email works perfectly with my BB Curve 9320, except for one contact, my gf, I dunno why, but I can't send even a single e-mail to her.
It does'n work and I have tried everything, battery pull, deleting her from the address book and adding her again, I even wiped out my entire BB (y' know, factory settings), and nothing fixed it.
It doesn't matter if I compose a new e-mail, or reply to her, I still get the red X in my messages...
Any suggestions?

You should check settings of your e-mail, i mean, go to the web link login and through options check if her ID is accidentaly blocked, can check her e-mail id if it is the correct one. apart from this i can think of what is causing this problem.

Can I send email to an iCloud contact group via Outlook 2010
When I installed iCloud on my PC so I could share my Outlook 2010 contact info with my iPad, I lost all my distribution lists (contact groups). I created a new Group in iCloud and copied several contacts to it. I also assigned those specific contacts to one category, thinking perhaps I could select easily based on category.
Now I want to select that entire group (or category in the "to" of an email. If I click on the "To' button, I am taken to my general iCloud all contacts folder. Category is not a criteria by which I can select. If I try to type in the name of the Group, it is not recognized.
If I have lost the ability to send group emails, I am going to be one unhappy camper!You would need to create a new Security-enabled DL in the Exchange Management Console. Rackspace will help you accomplish this.

Can't send email from one specific .mac account
I have two .mac accounts on three different machines. My main email account gives me "cant send with server smtp message..." use a different server. I can send just fine with my other .mac acct on the same machine. But I can't send from my main .mac acct on any of the machines or the web client at home or work. I have created a new user from scratch and set up the .mac acct on it and still get the errors. So it doesn't seem to be a problem specific to machine, user, or network. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

iMac intel Mac OS X (10.4.6)In your Account setup (via Mail Preferences) you may have to set up an Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) entry. As an example I have a IMAP account and a POP account. The IMAP account has the server smtp.<imap_domain>.com and the POP account has mail.<pop_domain>.net.au. I also have other domain entries which come into play if I am visiting friends or colleagues and need to send or receive mail via their broadband links which have ISP's that differ to mine.

I can't send BBM to a specific contact
Dear Support,
One time this morning, i can't send a bbm message to a one specific person but she can send to me a message. I've tried sending to others and it work just as fine. We tried to delete the contact and add again but we can't continue the process. This is weird because for the others, we can still communicate and add a contact.
Kindly help us regarding this problem because it really is **bleep** us off we hope you can help us here

Hi, there! I have an email for my business with a domain, hosted on host gator. When I send a message to my business partner, everything appears to go thru normally, but she never receives it. email functions normally thru webmail on host gator, or from my iphone. i discovered this because all of my business partner's email gets forwarded to me. So I usually get copied on my own messages. Suddenly it stopped. I have looked thru mail settings (rules, junk) on my imac and hers. I have looked thru blacklists on host gator. I am stumped. Any ideas? Thanks so much.

Can't send email using wifi. Spent 30 min troubleshooting with my email service provider who finally told me to contact Apple.
It doesn't work when I can't get 3G, whether at home or overseas. Receives no problem, and 3G works fine when it's available.Maybe it is a 3GS. Anyway, I get the error that the network is not responding, and to check my settings. My ISP is Uniserve (Canada) but I am trying to use Telus (at home, where there is no 3G in my neighbourhood) or whatever is available as I travel eg. US or Europe for outgoing mail when 3G is not available. My husband has no problem with his iphone 4 when he sends email the same way usinf wifi.

On 3G we cannot send Business emails from either our iPhones or Ipad and this also happens with some WiFi connections but not all. Yet we can always send emails from our Hotmail Account using both 3G and WiFi.
We bought the iPhones and Ipad so that we could send emails while we are out of the Office, but we are not able to do this unless we can find a WiFi connection. Incoming emails are fine. We use IMAP, for Business emails just incase this is relevant and I know that Hotmail is POP3.
Our technical IT knowledge is not great, so we look forward to your suggestions as to how to resolve this.Contact whomever supports the email account and get the correct Outgoing email server settings from them.

Can't SEND email from Telus account in Alberta, Canada, unless I go to web mail. Does anyone know how to set up the Outgoing server? Incoming is fine. Outgoing used to work. We changed it when we went to another location, and can't get it back. Telus support can't fix it. Neither smtp.telus.net NOR mail.telus.net works for Outgoing server to send mail. Please help! Mail can't send email from 123-reg accounts
Hi all,
I've got an issue with Mac Mail can’t send email from 123-reg accounts.
I know there is a lot of articles on simular matters and some I have tried out with no luck, others are just speaking a whole other language.
Any help would be greatly recived, here's my situation below:
Running a iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core i5 on OS X 10.8.3
I’m using 3 accounts on Macs Mail client, one is my iCloud account that is working fine and the other two are my 123-reg accounts that I use for business purposes. I’ve been working like this for a couple of years now and about 6 months ago I upgrade my operating system from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.
2 or 3 months ago I randomly got a problem where I was unable to send any emails from my 123-reg account, I could only receive emails. I checked my settings and they were all correct and unchanged so I attempted to delete them and recreate the account but with no such luck.
I then decided to check if it was a problem at 123-regs end and attempted to log into web mail. This worked and was able to both send and receive emails so eliminated that possibility.
I also have these accounts set up on my iPhone, so checked if there was any issues and everything was working fine. I then checked my iphone details and made sure the same was on my desktop and still no such luck.
I’ve tried out some of the articles I’ve found on here (the ones written in plain English) still no results. I’m not very IT illiterate and just wondered if anyone else has got any ideas, whether there is something specific with 123-reg accounts and Mac Mail?

I just had another hunt around looking at posts and discovered that it was because I recently changed to BT Infinity and they had a block on.

I need help. I have reset my iphone. I have turned it off then on. Still can't launch my built in mail app from home screen. When I try it goes to blank page then right back to home screen view.
In settings for the iphone 4s I can not access Notes or Mail, Contacts,Calendars. When I tap either of the two they highlight in blue and then go right back to Home Screen view. I seem to be able to access everything else in settings with no trouble.
From home screen I have no trouble I can launch the built in utility Notes with no problem. I also can launch Calendars from Home Screen view. My Contacts are still reachable by tapping Phone from H/S view then clicking on contacts.
I can not launch mail. nor can I send email. Also the built in mail app is not showing it is recieving mail either. All else seems fine.
I can log in to my email from Safari on iphone and from my laptop with no problem.
Anyone have any suggestions? My iphone is out of warranty. Apples only suggestions are To pay for support.

I can't send emails anymore. Lately out of nowhere, I couldn't dend any emails fom my Ipad. I receive a message saying: the recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying.
Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works.

When you say won't let you set the outgoing mail password, have you gone to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calenars > Accounts and the account name > Outgoing Mail Server > Primary Server > Password and set the password at that point? Do you have SSL switched ON or OFF as required by your carrier, and do you have Authentication set to Password, and the Server Port set to what your carrier wants to see, usually 25?
