I'm having problem with sending files after update to 7.0.0.12 with xp
It is trying to send file but then it says: This photo is unavailable

I also cannot send files for a few weeks now. It used to work and now it does not. I tried reinstalling and everything I could think of but it still does not work.
I even thought it could be because I installed skype on my phone which seems to be always signed in no matter what I do (but that's another issue) so I uninstalled it from my phone as well. I read all articles and solutions. Nothing helps. I checked my IE and it is v11.
I cannot send files to anybody (not just specific contacts). The opposite side does not even get notified about a file being send or something, while on mine there is this ever rolling circle on the right corner of the message (see screen-shot).
Some time ago I had problems saving the received files so I have been touching some options - could it be that I changed something which I should not have?
Please advise!!!

I followed Apple’s instructions about opening up port 5180, but I had to create the AOL IM option because it didn’t appear in my choices. Ok. Sometimes if you have a modem or router that requires you list protocols when doing Port Forwarding it seems to get confused that port 5190 is open to TCP and UDP. Some devices just seem to work better if you do the stuff below.
If this is the case then go to iChat > Preferences > Accounts >AIM account > Server Settings tab and change the port to 443
This can only be done when you have logged out of AIM.
Log back in afterwards.

Can't send mail after update to 5.0.1

After updating to 5.0.1, I can no longer send composed mail or respond with a reply. Works fine if I go out of mail, open AOL from safari. When I try to send from mail, a box opens stating message sent to outbox as respondant does not allow relays. Any ideas???

Tried this, no difference. I was on the Apple Care service for over 1 hour with same result, no change. Any reply or new composed mail is sent to the outbox file, message states, " a copy has been placed in outbox. The recipient ...... Was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying." same reply or message sent from mail started from safari goes through perfectly.

Can't send mail after updating to 10.5.5

I don't know if it could be coincidence, but I had been receiving and sending email all day long until I installed the latest update (10.5.5). Since the installation completed, I have not been able to send mails (receiving is okay). The program keeps trying, but just keep son trying with nothing happening. I checked the SMTP's for my accounts — nothing has changed there. Don't know what's up.

Consider yourselves lucky. I can't send or receive email or connect to the internet AT ALL since installing whatever updates came down this morning (9/24/08). I can connect to my wireless and I can connect to AT&T using my USB wireless 3G thingy, but I can't access email or the web. If your iMessages get stuck during send, try:
1. Reboot the phone, if that doesn't work,
2. Reset your network settings

After updating to iOS5 I am having a great deal of difficulty sending email, something that never happened before. When I hit "send" I get a message "The connection to the outgoing server "smtp-server.maine.rr.com" failed. However the kicker is that after a period of a few minutes to a few hours, the message does go out. Help!

I would delete the mail account from your settings and re-add it. The problem is that the server data was somehow lost when your iPhone was upgraded.

Apple update has made a useable and great device now useless. I use my iPad for work exchange email and now can't send or receive. Why release a product without checking for major bugs like this. Have had to delete all emails in outbox and constantly have to manually I close app to reset. Not happy apple!

I can't send emails after updating my iphone 5 today, i'm with talktalk, i can recieve emails and my wifi is working fine

I updated my iphone 5 today to ios7.1 and now i can't send emails. I can recieve mail, . I'm with Talktalk, and the wifi etc is working fine.

What is going on? I updated my Spring 4s to iOS6 and now I can't send MMS's to people NOT via iMessage.

For what it's worth, I'm having the same problem with my iPhone 4S. I can only send MMS to other iPhone users. Attempting to send it to non-iPhone users results in a failure and retry, over and over. There is another thread on here where we're talking about it:

Can't open files after update to Adobe Reader 10.1.1

I have Windows 7, 64 bit. I recently relented to constant requests to update my Adobe Reader 9.0 (free vers.) to Adobe Reader X. The update erased my former version. Now I can't open any of the .pdf files as it says "the network path was not found." I tried the Repair installation, it just installed Adobe Reader 10.1.1, which I assume is the same as the X version. How do I get Adobe Reader to open my .pdf files?

Try running the combo update.

If that doesn't work, try a restart.
Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
Try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear and again when you log in. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don’t do them all at once.

Can't send iMessage after update to IOS 7 on iPhone 5

After I update to IOS 7 on iPhone 5 the iMessage function seems not working properly. when I trying to send iMassage the "sending" bar loads up to 90% (slowly) and then stops dead and doesn't move. It stays at that 90% mark until it either starts working, many minutes later, until I delete the message, until it goes to "sending failed" or whatever it says with the little red "!" it will not automatically send by text even the iMessage function is not working. This problem wasn't happened all the time but regularly. This problem happened when I update to IOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and also happened in my friends' iPhone 5 with IOS 7. After I restart everything will back to normal until it crashes again.
Anyone who get the same problem like me?

I found the same solution, resetting network settings. Sure we have to re-input Wi-Fi network passwords, but it's not a big deal. What is a big deal is that this solution is temporary -it works for a day or two and then the problem returns, for both me (iPhone 4, 7.0.2 Verizon) and my wife (iPhone 5, 7.0.2 AT&T). I've just reset my network settings for the 2nd time since installing iOS 7 on launch day and 7.0.2 on it's launch day.
C'mon Apple! A little help here? I really don't want to have to do this every few days.

You need to delete the Yahoo account and reset it up. I just did this for an iPhone running yahoo in my house.
Settings
> Mail Contacts etc
> Select Yahoo account
> Delete account

Can't send data after updating to 5.1 SP5 : "SendGovernor failed"

Hi,
I updated from 5.1 SP3 to SP5, followed the migration steps (saving each apps).
When I want to send data in my application, I get a Send Governor Error : "CommitTrans::Send through SendGovernor failed;".
It works fine in ApShell.
Any idea ?

After upgrade you have save all the application to complete the upgrade.
Also I suggest to process all dimensions because usually that error message is coming when something is not consistent in your appset.
If this will not solve your issue then I suggest to go into C:\BPC\websrvrs\Logging and to check that logs because the information from there can be very usefull.
