I can't us iMessage over wifi network now after downloading iOS 6

Yeah this is really strange...i can use Messages on my home wifi without issue after updating to iOS 6...but from my work wifi network my messages fail 90% of the time. What's most rediculus is that this has been going on for almost a week now & nobody at apple seems to even be acknowledge it's an issue????

If your iMessages get stuck during send, try:
1. Reboot the phone, if that doesn't work,
2. Reset your network settings

Can't get internet after downloading ios 7.1.1 on my iphone 4s.

This morning I downloaded ios 7.1.1 on my iphone 4s. Then none of my apps would connect to the internet. I reset networks, I was able to connect for a few minutes, but now I cannot. Wifi is detected and works, but my iphone is not connecting. I reset networks a second time to no avail. Please help.

I have been having the same issue (with both Wifi and Cellular Data) since I have Downloaded the IOS 7.1.1 update...
The applications show an error, "No Internet connection"..
Keep in mind that all of my other devices are using the same Wifi, and are working fine...
Please resolve this matter ASAP...

After I update to IOS 7 on iPhone 5 the iMessage function seems not working properly. when I trying to send iMassage the "sending" bar loads up to 90% (slowly) and then stops dead and doesn't move. It stays at that 90% mark until it either starts working, many minutes later, until I delete the message, until it goes to "sending failed" or whatever it says with the little red "!" it will not automatically send by text even the iMessage function is not working. This problem wasn't happened all the time but regularly. This problem happened when I update to IOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and also happened in my friends' iPhone 5 with IOS 7. After I restart everything will back to normal until it crashes again.
Anyone who get the same problem like me?

I found the same solution, resetting network settings. Sure we have to re-input Wi-Fi network passwords, but it's not a big deal. What is a big deal is that this solution is temporary -it works for a day or two and then the problem returns, for both me (iPhone 4, 7.0.2 Verizon) and my wife (iPhone 5, 7.0.2 AT&T). I've just reset my network settings for the 2nd time since installing iOS 7 on launch day and 7.0.2 on it's launch day.
C'mon Apple! A little help here? I really don't want to have to do this every few days.

You can't, Siri is not available on the iPad 2 - possibly because it doesn't have the noise cancellation hardware within it that is needed for it.

Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

Why can I send iMessage pictures from my iPhone 4S (iOS 6) elswhere, but not on my home network? Another iPhone 4s (iOS 5.1.1) in the same room can send them just fine. I've contacted my internet service provider, but they can't help me. I've tried 'everything' including a full iPhone reset, losing hundreds of irreplacable photos in the process

From Messages on the Mac to my iPhone Number with a .psd 90.5Mb file (pic)
The Pic moves into the Chat part but says nothing.
The File Transfers Window does say "Sent Zero ..."
It does not indicate progress but then it says Sent and the Chat window Displays "Delivered."

They eventualy arrived.
The Time Difference between the Send time in Messages and the Arrive time on the phone says only two minutes but it felt much longer.
It was most of the time I was typiing this.

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first.

I don't know if this helps, but I experienced a similar issue with my iPad 2 after updating to iOS 7.
My "solution" to the problem, after pulling out my hair for hours, is to plug it in the wall charger, and then shut the iPad down completely. It does charge when turned off, although a bit slower than usual, or so it seems. Pheeew...:-) I realize that this is a pain if you have a problem with an iPhone, because you have to turn it off to charge it. Presuming that this works, of course. Otherwise, I don't know..
After the update, the iPad simply does not respond when i plug in the charger, nor does it connect to the USB port. The battery just keeps wearing down. I think it could be connected to the firmware change that iOS 7 brings, which I guess in itself has to do with Apple wanting to block out 3rd party manufacturers of power adapters of the new "lightning" type.
The only thing I can think of that might have gone wrong on my part concerning the update is that I didn't have it plugged in while installing the update - although I believe this is recommended from Apple. I'm thinking that in my case the new firmware update simply hasn't registered any adapter present upon installation, and that might have caused the iPad to not recognize an adapter at all, regardless of type. I have always used original Apple adapters, btw, so I'm not really guilty of anything other than not plugging it in while updating - or, at least that's my own theory. Which is better than no theory at all.. ;-)
Obviously, I'm waiting eagerly for Apple to solve this issue. Not really happy at all with this..

Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it has not been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.
