Can't send mails with file attachment

I can't send any mails from my iphone 3G with file attachments.
If I try to send a picture I have taken with the iphone the mail just won't go out. It says 3 mails not send at the bottom of the mail app.
Normal mails work fine.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I access two email accounts with the iPhone's Mail client and I've never experienced the same.
If no change after an iPhone reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release - ignoring the slide to turn off prompt when doing so, try deleting and recreating the accounts on your iPhone.

Hmm. Looking at the Apple UK support site, it shows a yellow dot for .Mac mail, but says the issue is with incoming mail:

Not sure if that has anything to do with it or if there are other issues.

Have you tried that? You should still be able to send as your .Mac email, but have it sent through there instead.

Can I send mail with an attachment that opens automatically?

I want to be able to send emails that display a graphic when the mail is opened.
I get mail all the time like this from Netflix, or Staples or other businesses.

You're describing HTML mail. mail.app doesn't support creation of html mail which means that you'll need to use a client like Thunderbird.
Or you could create your html message in textedit or an html editor and save the file. Then open it in Safari, and click File, Mail contents of this page.
However, since the way a message is displayed is controlled by the recipients email client you have no guarantee that it will look like the message you sent.
For example, I have mail.app set to display plain text only and I only see the text of html message and the images are attachments.

Sending mail with excel attachment-improper format

Dear experts,
I am sending a mail to outlook with an excel attachment. The mail is sent with attachment and the data, but all in one cell.
I am using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1. What parameters do i need to manipulate to have data in different columns of excel? I am using "packing_list" table of FM. But dont know the exact parameters to be passed. Can anyone help with the same please?

Receiving mail, but can't send mail with attachments?

Hello,
I can't send mails anymore, I have been able to send some without any attachments (i.e. reply doesn't work as it automatically attaches the original text). This started 3 days ago. Also, my mail doesn't seem to recognize powerpoint and word docs., but I a know the people who have send me such files do not have VISTA. When I choose "open with" then it works. So I have 2 problems, one being moe urgent then the other.
1) can't send mail with attachments
2) .doc (word), .pps (powerpoint)attachments are not always recognized.

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works

Take a look at the documentation of FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' for parameter PACKING_LIST. I think you should set t_packing_list-head_num to a different value than 0 for the second attachment.

And also the Utl_mail is very slow. Its using RAW type.
I can use the javamail package to solve this problem, this javamail package needs to download into server from there you can attach thus documents into mail. But I want fetch the documents and ate the same time I want attach to a mail. Like yahoo attach or msn attachment.

I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.

I have written a function module with following steps,
1. Convert SPOOL number to PDF using Function Module 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'.
2. Send mail with PDF attachment using Function Module 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'.
The Function Module is giving required output when tested and called in the report(Background Job).
When I call this Function Module from Method-> Workflow Task the Workflow steps status is 'In Process' and not ending.
Could you please help me on this??

When you try to send mail, You need to call the function FP_JOB_OPEN before calling the function module to generate the pdf. ( /1B****) . Is it missing in your code?

Can't send mail with IMAP

Hi,
I have two different IMAP accounts, and I can't send mail with either of them. I receive it just fine, but can't send. One of them just switched to ESMTP (I'm not entirely sure what that means), and said that many mail programs are not yet compatible with it. I know that both accounts can send, as I can send from them on the web.
I have tried switching from port 25 to port 587, with no luck. Regardless of what I do, the program displays a window saying, "Sending the message content to the server failed." I haven't been able to send for a little over a week now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tonight I have been suddenly unable to send e-mail from my mac.com address.
The problem is the same whether I try to send from my G4 laptop running OS 10.4, or my eMac running OS 10.3.9 , or from .mac web mail.
The alert I am receiving says: "The sender address [email protected] was rejected by the server."
I am using the SMTP outgoing mail server, not POP.
I can still receive e-mail with no difficulty.
I have changed no settings.

Problem in excel format while sending mail with excel attachment.

Hi Gurus ,
I am sending a email with Excel attachment using FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 or SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.
I am able to send a mail with excel attachment with a piece of code which I got from SDN itself.
But the problem is when I am trying to open the attachment, <b>A pop up comes which says that it is not in recognizable format. Would you like to open it?
and several other lines of caution.</b>
When i choose to open it, i get the correct data in one excel sheet. Certain vertical lines of the excel sheet is missing. <b>But no data is missing. </b>
